The next morning, as expected, his ' guards' didn't find anything from the assassin.
The old man turned hysterical when he found out someone tried to assassinate him and wanted him to stay in protected custody or something.
Ronald once again insisted that he was not the Ronald they were looking for.
As for the perpetrator who sent the assassin, Ronald racked his brain on how he was gonna expose the perpetrator, in the end, since the perpetrator wanted to fight in the dark, then he will do the same!
To do that he needed two things: Money and Connections!
He was back to being a human now so he should humanly tackle things.
This is why right now; Ronald was standing in front of a skull of a sea monster.
“Gods above….”
“Shiver me timbers….”
“My lord….”
Ronald along with the crew the old man brought gaped in shock and amazement seeing the gigantic skull in front of them.
Honestly, Ronald was a bit surprised too, since he was so used to being colossal, his sense of scale has become blurry, he thought it was only average size for a monster when he place the bones here last night but clearly, he was wrong.
Just the height of the skull in front of him was about 5 meters tall, and from the tip of its nose, down to its tail, it was probably nearly 30 meters long.
“See? I told you didn’t I? I didn’t lie. So, what kind of monster is this anyway?”
Ronald asked the old man who still had his mouth hung open, hearing his question he promptly recovered and said hesitantly...
“This…. I don’t know yet; we need further clarification as to what it is”
“We’re gonna needed a bigger carriage…” One of the crew muttered. Currently, there were near the location where Ronald first walked on land.
This morning, Ronald lead three carriages here to get the remains but it seems it won’t be enough.
The old man then ordered his subordinate to carry the bones and bring more carriages.
Soon, people clamored as they gasp in astonishment seeing the large skull being carriage by two carriage that was side by side.
“Hahaha!! Behold the grand monster I found!”
Ronald bragged and laughed merrily while sitting on top of the skull.
“Hey Old Scott! Revin! Kids! Look at what I found!!”
Ronald waved at the people he met the first time he walked on land. Their gaping mouths hung low seeing such a huge skull.
One could only imagine how terrifying the monster was when it was still alive.
The seven carriages paraded into the streets of the village and the city.
“What in the seven hells!?!”
“Oh, my god….”
“Bloody hell….”

“What kind of monster has that large of a skull?!”
They cause even greater shock when they parade the city. Ronald smiled widely seeing their reactions as he sat at the top of the skull as if he had killed the mighty beast. Well, he had indeed killed it.
Soon, they headed to the Explorers guild headquarters. The explorers guild managed anything related to the ocean like escorting, finding relics, finding new species of monsters, selling and, delivering messages, sharing information, and exploring new lands.
They headed towards the guild where Ronald will conduct an auction.
There were two places Ronald considered holding an auction before here,
The first is a manor to which is owned by the Haileye family, Ronald actually wanted to go with this choice as he felt he could meet the young man from before and mess with him, but then he realized he might anger the young man along with the other important members of the family too much, causing them to use their power to seize his catch.
Being a nobody with no social power, he wouldn't be able to resist them unless he uses force.
As for the old man Vance, while he may have a high standing in the family because of his achievements and loyalty, he still is an outsider.
The second place was the actual auction hall of the city. However, Ronald learned from old man Vance that Items put on auction there were to be put on the schedule.
Meaning even if he had to bring the monster’s remains to them now, it won't be till two weeks later before they will hold an auction.
Naturally, he couldn't wait that long so he settled for the Explorers guild.
"Blimey...."
Soon they saw the headquarters and headed to the Hall of the Explorers guild.
The Explorers guild was like one giant campus with several buildings of different functions.
People gawked when they saw the huge skull.
Soon a group of people headed towards them led by a woman with an eyepatch and black hair tied to a ponytail wearing black slopes with boots, a linen shirt, and a black robe, she looked like a pirate captain. She was quite the beauty giving off a cold dark vibe.
"A Swallorous...." She muttered when she glanced at the skull.
Old man Vance approached her and said...
"Vice leader Levina, Good morning."
Levina recognized the judged Vance and greeted them back.
"Good morning Mr. Vance, I see you've brought quite a catch"
Then Levina noticed the man sitting at the top of the skull and her eyes slightly narrowed as she felt he was familiar.
"Yes.. My-"
Vance was about to say something but stopped and he contemplated something.
Seeing Vance and the blue-haired man sitting on the skull, a connection flashed through her mind and her eyes couldn't help but widen slightly.
"You're Gregory? No, he has long died... That could only mean... You're Ronald"
