The Secret of the Hero and his Demon

Aiya means 'weak.' That is -- after all -- what most people believed he was anyway. An orphan who's barely proficient in fighting and whose only skill is magic, but who isn't even that talented? How can this person be anything of note? But Aiya is not quite what you'd usually call weak. He's what you'd call overpowered, yet not even the most important school in the continent can explain how.

Nor would they ever be able to explain the friendship that bonds him with a monster beyond human control, a creature whose appearance scares humans to madness and whose mouth can swallow three children whole in one bite. But maybe, this hero holds secret that he doesn't want the world to know.

He isn't quite a hero.
