Chapter 172: Prologue: One World

One World.

Everything. Every thing. It had split into two. It had to, to exist. Now, with a Mirror to view itself, Everything observed. Aeons passed and it was content. Aeons passed and that changed. A desire had welled up within it, in the Mirror half at least. The desire to split. As such, the infinitely-sized Mirror broke itself into an infinite number of shards of various sizes and shapes.

The Everything it was made up of, slowly came undone, starting with the most fundamental concepts of reality until all possibilities were brought to life. Within the shards, worlds - no universes, from complex to simple, from solid and orderly to chaotic and dream-like. This shattered Mirror had no official name, but to him, it was known as One World.

He, like everything else to exist, was a resident. Yes 'was'. The world he currently found himself in wasn't the black and white world he was familiar with, but a world of colour and unpredictability.

And thus, the future is uncertain.
