The Soulreaver

Cain is a young orphan, robbed of a happy childhood the day his orphanage burned down. Left with nothing but his pet snake, Cain lives life at rock bottom, surviving as a street thief.

During a greedy haul, he is caught and forced to murder his pet snake as a punishment. But before Cain could grieve arose a soul from the snake's corpse only he could see. As he embraced the soul, they merged, and Cain discovered his hidden ability: to possess the body of anyone he kills.

Now, fueled by wanderlust, he roams the world, reaving the strongest beings of their souls to assemble the ultimate collection.
