"Can I come?" Atlus asked.
The door slammed back open. To have Briar Black gawking back at them all. Kuo and Li-Hua were closest to him.
"No break today!" Briar shouted.
"Are you serious?" Li-Hua yelled.
"You are going somewhere important." Briar pointed out.
He handed them a slip of paper. Smacking Kuo on the back hard as he can he nearly knocked the wind out of him.
"Understood…Atlus come." Li-Hua instructed.
"Wait why me?!" Kuo asked.
Slowly they melt away transported to a new location. In front of a small white church in the middle of the countryside. Looking side to side everything is picturesque like you would see in books in glossy prints bound stories.
"This looks normal." Kuo pointed out.
"Apparently angels have spotted here when prayers have been made during large events." Li-Hua read out loud.
"So we're searching for angels?" Kuo questioned.
" But for now we're going to be staying in town," Atlus noted.
A black car pulled up to the church. A man dressed in a black suit pulled up bowing to get inside. Kuo felt unsure what to do.
"Hey, are you the ones investigating?" The guy shouted.
"We are!" Li-Hua yelled.
"Fade!" Atlus cried out.
Atlus vanished to show up at the door of the car to get in. The driver was shocked acknowledging that the kid himself had an ability.
"Do you guys also have one?" He inquired.
"Of course!" Li-Hua laughed.
It was a smooth ride to town about twenty-five to thirty minutes to find a very small town. Like something you would see in a video game with a fountain in the middle of everything. Buildings packed together like sardines all made of aging brick turning white in the blazing heat of the afternoon sun.
People were bowing down in front of the discolored bronze statue as hood figures could be seen. Parading the area and talking to residents the followers were everywhere.
"Say what do we call you?" Li-Hua asked.
"Page, I am the one who called you." He laughed.
"So my boss is literally a weird intergalactic creature. How the hell did you contact him?" Kuo questioned.
"Don't mean to master!" Atlus scolded.
"How do you not know?" Paige answered.
Handing him a black card like the first time he had received from Li-Hua back at the hotel room. No number, but a blank card.
"How do you summon off of it?" Kuo questioned.
"Kuo! Stop that!" Li-Hua chided.
"What?!" Kuo yelled.
Loud wailing caught Atlus's attention. Something black darted in and out of Kuo's vision making him almost stop them all.
"Why are you crying?" Atlus asked.
The elderly were on her hands and knees moving up and down with her hands clasped together crying and unshakable at the feet of the statue staring down at them from above.
"This is a creepy statue…" Atlus noted.
"This is a blessed figure! How dare you insult her!"
"What is so holy about her?" Atlus pondered.
About to phase his hand through the metal Li-Hua had to grab his hand only for everyone to push their focus on them.
"Excuse me, but you must be new here?" A hooded man said.
"Ahhh yes that! We are looking for a new home out here!" Li-Hua cackled.

"Perhaps we may speak over tea later Ms?" He asked.
"My name is Li-hmm Lee!" Li-Hua
Holding tight to Atlus by the mouth so he couldn't talk. He walked through her pointing at the odd tassels and caps draped around their shoulders.
"Okay, but what is all this cosplaying for?" Atlus said monotone.
"This is the dress from the wardrobe of the church!" He shouted.
"What is the organization called?" Atlus inquired.
"Angels of Plujegar as the mayor's daughter founded it." He explained.
"Weird…anyways Paige take us to the mayors," Atlus said bluntly.
"You can't just walk up to them!" The hooded men said in unison.
"You literally don't get it," Atlus stated.
Using his pointer finger Atlus aimed straight at the men. They had a look of curiosity on their face as his eye colors seemed to swirl their retinas.
"Bang!" Atlus shouted.
The other held his chest playing dead while the other watched in horror. Atlus walked away.
"What the fuck was that?" One asked.
"I thought he could do it!" He gasped.
"What in the world, Atlus!" Kuo shouted.
"Let's just get to my house…" Paige mumbled.
"Not so fast, Paige!" A female voice rang.
"Oh no…" He gulped.
A woman dressed in a yellow summer dress carrying a basket in the other hand. Her long brown hair was pinned back by a single black ribbon tied into a knot.
"Who are these people?" She questioned.
"They are tourists who wish to experience the angel!" Paige noted.
"Oh…is that all?" She smiled.
She handed each of the three guests a small bible bound in blue leather. Atlus immediately dropped it to the ground. The woman picked it back up dusting it off and handing it back to him.
"I don't want it old woman," Atlus mumbled.
Kuo took the book from the lady. She looked enraged at the snow-haired boy who trotted off without even a sorry.
"Look I am sorry!" Kuo said.
"He must be very young still!" She muttered.
"He is I promise, but thank you for the books!" Kuo cheered happily.
She forgot what she was mad about almost instantly. Staring into Kuo's eyes she clutched his face bringing him by the jaw to get a better look at his features.
"Partial heterochromia…you can see things." She spouted.
"Impossible? My eyes are grey!" Kuo stated.
Pulling out her hand mirror from her purse she showed him his own reflection to open his eyelid to show him the colors of his own iris.
"But…I never had seen this before!" Kuo shouted.
"So then did you ever get sick?"
"Not that I know of…" Kuo said.
His voice trailed off thinking back. He had no idea when in his life this may have occurred, but it is possible for accidents to change parts or discolor them even.
"Come with me!"
