I never knew I would recruit two more people so quickly.

Kyoto did another good job and deserved to be rewarded for completing this task. I rewarded him 20 points for each recruit.

As for the two new recruitments, both had already started their prospective duties. Using his intelligence,

Pen gave us ideas on what we needed to focus on next.

While Lillian was already going through a list of possible recruits for future recruitment.

Thanks to Pen's knowledge, we can now distinguish between good and bad recruitment choices.

He had more intel than I expected of at least 13 percent of Tokyo.

If he wanted to collect more intel on anyone he didn't know, he could go out to find out more information.

I will use this chance to test how great he was at collecting intel. It's the perfect time to start handing out tasks to the recruits.

"Looks like we have our work cut out for us," Pen says while nudging Lillian, who swats at him.

The two had already gone through the explanation of points and the award system.

Kyoto explained more about the shop and how it won't be unlocked until they reached level 5.

Once Pen and Lillian left after finding intel on the two possible recruits, Kyoto researched the plant for his task.

"Petroid, it's a common plant found in the wild. It's an orange flower with four petals and a purple stem. Let's see if I can find it in the area. E.C.S, can you do a sweep of the area for any Petroid plants?" Kyoto asked.

E.C.S: [Let me pull up a map, how far should I stretch the search?]

Kyoto rubs his chin, "at least fifty meters from the building," he answers.

[Generating Map....]

E.C.S: [Found a large collection of Petroid plants. The location is 30 meters west of the building. Does Kyoto want a copy of the location?]

"Yeah, I'll take it." He agrees.

I was left alone, it has only been a few hours since I had reawakened, but I had accomplished this much already.

I now have a scientist, a recruitment captain, and an intelligence agent. Soon I will have a mechanic and a computer engineer, so things were happening better than I expected.

With Kyoto's help, I'm able to find out more about my updated system. The more I learn, the more it seems that I had outside help.

The shop should not be accessible, and I should be gone like all the other systems.

I'm grateful I could enact the revenge I always wanted on the Hero. Ah, yes, he's a hunter now.

My vines began to vibrate. It was telling me that somewhere close, there was an intruder.

With this building located beyond some trees and away from civilization, it should be hard to find.

So, who could be out there?

When I get the chance, I'll have many things added to the building, especially security.

For now, I had no choice but to wait.

With the help of my vine's vibration, I did a calculation on how far the intruder was from here.

Judging by the size, the intruder may be an animal or monster. It was at least 50 meters to the south.

I can relax now since it wasn't a human. I hope the others return without any issues.

Lillian & Pen

In front of a mechanic shop off Shepard Street, Lillian and Pen were investigating a person they had their eyes on.

After going through the database for mechanic recruitment, it was this person who stuck out like a sore thumb.

Pen's intel on this person wasn't much, but he did know a few things about them.

"Where's the data our boss gave us on this person?" Lillian asked.

Pen reaches into his shirt pocket and pulls out the so-called data Lillian asked for then hands it over.

"Let me see. The person we have been investigating is Utan Setachi, aged 45. He's been a mechanic for almost ten years and a widower for four. This is all the information we have on him." She reads.

Pen stares out the driver's window at the shop across the street, Fix-Your-Car Shop. They had just pulled up and laid eyes on Setachi for the first time.

"We have to find out more," Pen says.

Lillian hands over the paper, and Pen tucks it back in his shirt pocket. "Okay, but how?" Lillian asked.

It was close to impossible to gather intel without garnering any attention.

Pen starts the car and smiles, "let's go somewhere that our target spends his time." He says.

"There's no way we know where that is," Lillian says dryly.

"Of course we do. If you had looked closely at the dashboard of the Toyota over there, then you'd know."

He points at the red car sitting in front of the Mechanic shop.

Lillian frowns, "what makes you think that's his car?" She asked.

"Isn't it obvious? It hasn't moved since we got here, which means it's either our target or someone he knows." Pen says while driving down the road to the diner close by.

Both stepped out of the car and entered the small diner. Inside, there was a gathering of locals eating in or soliciting.

Let's sit over there near that group of people. We may find something out if we listen in on their conversation." Pen leads Lillian to a table.

A man with an apron walked up to them with a pen and notebook, "is there anything I can get for you?" He asked.

"I'll take a coffee and Turkey sandwich," Pen orders.

Lillian leans in to whisper, "what are you doing? We didn't come here to eat."

"It's too suspicious if we don't order anything. Stop asking questions and order." He tells her.

The man jots their order down and walks off.

"What's the chance this group knows our target and will talk about him?" She asked doubtfully.

"Hmm...maybe about a forty percent chance?" Pen answered.

The number was higher than she expected. This better not be a waste of her time.
