Aisling’s POV
One thing I know for real is that death comes for all, and it drives thing to live past their death. Might it be through their genes or memory. With life at deaths door people try to unite and live. Or they try to stop the thing. Might it be the sound of the scythe itself or the target of the swing. People wanted to live. They wanted peace during the last moments of their lives.
I was thinking that as Emner told me close my eyes. I did so and when he told me open them, I standing outside of the black jewel that the room had been. What that means is that the whole time we had been in the jewel.
That didn’t shock me.
I soon found a new opening that had appeared after I went inside the diamond. The opening itself wasn’t much but it looked like it was made from the outside. After we went outside, I noticed that no one had enter the cave after it had been made for a reason.
There were people pointing rifles at me. Behind them there was a man in a very fancy uniform I assumed was German. He held up a hand and walked forward. People parted for him, and that’s when I noticed tall soldiers kneeling next to him.
When these men stood, they were tall. Maybe six foot 3 at the minimum. In this world they probably were seen as freaks but on my earth, they were just tall. He walked right in front of me and showed me his ringed hand.
It looked like he expected me to kiss his ring. The funny thing is that Emner told me that his wielder is considered chosen by right. In reality he should be the one kneeling to kiss my boots. I push his hand aside and start to question him on why he is here.
“Why are you at the entrance to the cave that this hole island is on?” I ask.
he looks put off by my dismissal of class but powers through to answer back with a question of his own.
“Why are you in a cave wielding a strange outfit and blade?” he retorted.
“Because I fell down.”
He raises an eyebrow at this and questions me further.
“How did you get this outfit?”
“The blade of Emner made it for me,” I responded.
At that point he starts to laugh and laugh. Then a bloodlust like non-other comes from Emner. He had not taken place in the conversation so far but now his place in the encounter was a matter of fact. The man fell back as did his retinue. Some of them pissed themselves. I pulled Emner out of his sheaf (that is for sure spelled wrong).
“So Aisling was not wrong or mistaken, I am seen as a myth. Well, well, well, lets change that by meeting the one responsible for all this conflict and obvious class split,” said Emner.
“Emner, I think that you are scaring everyone,” I said.
“that’s the point Aisling,” he responded.
“I think that it was a sudden thing that person implemented,” I said.

“that’s true,” he responded put down.
“you’re real!” screamed the fancy man.
“Of course, he’s real,” I said with pride, “I’m not a liar.”
“Just so I know what year is it?” Emner asks.
I didn’t know the reason he just asked as I had told him the year but ok.
“The year is 1582,” responded the fancy man. (that’s his name now btw)
“What! The last time I checked that year was the day before I fell in the hole with the whole breaking free of slavery thing,” I yelled. The year then was 1580.
I sniffed my armpit, and it smelled like horrid. I gagged as the sell of sweat and dirt overwhelmed my senses. I looked my self over again and noticed something that hadn’t been there before. The beginnings of a chest. Right now, it was at the flat is justice level but I wanted medium is premium levels of chest. This entire time I was a girl my stances on women weren’t altered in the slightest.
So, I had been apparently asleep in the diamond for two years.
First off how?
Second off why?
Third off how?
As Emner had not explained it any way then he explained it now. It had apparently taken two years to sync or souls together as my soul was not of this world. He told me this over a private telepathic message ability he and the wielder had. He had just not needed to use it yet so he hadn’t told me yet.
“is the war between England and France still happening?” I asked.
“Yes, it is,” responded fancy man.
“how have both sides fared so far?” I asked.
“England had summoned the heroes two years ago so they have been able to hold their own and push the French back a little. While we just started to get involved, the French summoned a hero and put the eldritch slave collar on them from what I hear. Though we have also had to summon a hero from another world, because the hero the French summoned was something called a chemist,” explained the Frenchman.
“oh no”
