“Father, why are you looking at me like that?” I asked.
“It’s just, well that is not what I was expecting. I was thinking because you were always talking to the spirits that you were a spirit in the body of a little girl. Your mother thought that to. That’s why I treated you like you were a lot older. What is it that you said to her by the by?” he explained.
“Well, I simply introduced myself and asked her how life has been going. I think you can imagine the reaction and see it for yourself,” I said.
“Oh, so what does this mean for our family? Does this mean that you will be treating her like a sister?”
“Yes, yes, I will be treating her like my sister because she is my sister. I love her and wish to see her all grown up. Though I wonder if she kept the things, I’m thinking she bottled up in her heart.”
“What do you mean!?” she yelled out.
“Well, the day before I died you found out what porn was,” I stated, “I’m not even going to count the fact that you if looking at those videos online was the reason that I was outside at the time the tree fell on me. I expected you to blame yourself on that. But it seems that you didn’t even connect those dots.”
I was speaking this worlds language now. Father looked at me as if I had just dropped a bomb and spoken the evilest slur at the time.
“Aisling! You can’t say those kinds of words. You’re only a child, Shoosh!” said father.
“Father, I was simply saying what I thought she was going to bring up. Though it seems she hasn’t really grown in the mind since I left,” I said teasingly.
She then started to tickle me till I burst into tears. She continued to do so until there was a nock on the door. Father went up to the door and opened it. Then in came the other three heroes as well a very important looking elf. He looked at me and my sister as if we were bothering him.
Who was he to say anything about siblings reuniting?
“I would like to meet the wielder of the false blade!” he screamed.
Sheesh, he was uptight. Looks like he needed to be knocked down a peg. He looked at me and my sister then pointed a finger at me.
“YOU, YOU are a beast. No wonder a BEAST like you have come bearing lies!!!” he said with a straight face.
This was cliché.
Now as one might expect, I am not a false wielder of the blade of Emner. But then I remembered he said false blade.
Did he not think the blade of Emner was real?

Is he that dumb?
Surely, he was old enough to witness the previous wielders. He was old for an elf, right? How old did elves get? “They age slowly from childhood to elder.” That’s what I recall Emner saying. So this elf must not be very old. He must be considered young for elves given his looks.
Elves in this world were long lived but they aged just like any other thing. By the time they were on their deathbed they looked as old as any old human.
So, this elf must not believe the legends.
Well then, he was in for a rude awakening.
“well then let’s see how powerful I am. Surely, you fancy elf believe in power like any other living being of this current world,” he looked offended but I continued as I got away from Ariel, who was looking sad, “so let us have a duel to see if I am as weak as you claim!”
He looked very, very, angry. Like a child to angry to be able to have a conversation.
“I will have you know that I am the Just, the Kind, the all Merciful newly crowned king of the elves of the Wirewood! You little shit is just that! A shit stain on the side of the hourglass of time and the earth!”
He was getting worked up now. Ariel was hiding behind me like she always had when we were little. She had a horrified look on her face. It was contorted with fear.
Did he do something to her?
Can I kill him and get away with it?
“so are you going to accept the duel I asked for or are you going to be a little baby king?” I taunted.
“Perfect! I shall kill this imposter of might! I shall smite the heaven that wields the false power! A DUEL TO THE DEATH!!!”
He then walked out of the room and came back into the room with two people. They looked like fancy guards. I’m assuming they were royal guards.
“Bring her to the cloven pit!” he said while pointing at me.
Death was soon to come.
His fate was sealed.
