It wasn't that bad of a fight, and well, I had never expected it to be a bad fight.
After all, although wyrms were a species descended from dragons, they were much weaker than their ancestors, only being as powerful as Sari was when I first found her.
Obviously, both her and I had leveled up a lot since then, so it was a no brainer that I would be able to defeat such a beast.
'But to only be able to defeat it whilst using a special sword technique, hmm... seems like I'll need to train even harder.'
Sari could beat this wyrm with only a punch at this point in time, I was for sure of this.
'All these years, and I still couldn't surpass the one closest to my power level...'
Surrounding myself with all these powerful people was fine and all, but, in the end, the only strength that really mattered was the strength I held myself.
Reflecting on my weaknesses for a few seconds, I was quickly brought out of my thoughts as another monster spawned.
'Oh? This is an even better result than expected.'
"ROOOOAAAARRR!"
Hearing the beast's pitiful snarl, I couldn't help but smirk.
'Welp, this will be quick.'
...
Over the next few days, I was constantly under the assault of wave after wave of beasts, as the watchers gave me no breaks under their ruthless onslaught.
I mean, I was fine, as I kept buying "No-Sleep" potions from the store, and well, let's just say that they were really effective.
But, by now, even after gulping down 30 stamina potions, my muscles were really starting to strain, as doping on drugs was always detrimental to one's health in the long term, something that was still true even in a fantasy world.
Of course, there were also such things as healing potions, so the effects were minimal at best if you had the right amount of resources.
And I definitely had those resources, even if I was a fallen noble.
'It's nice that they've given me a break though, never thought the monster wave would stop.'
Oh yeah, the amount of money that each beast was worth was transferred to my worth when I killed it, so I was now worth even more money.
Dusting off my pants as I stood back up on my weary legs, I started hobbling towards the center of this biome.
After all, it was always good to warm down after a harsh workout.
Unless the warm down consisted of having to walk more than 20 kilometers that was...
But, I pushed through it, as I needed to find the big guns.
Again, I hadn't even met a mana user yet, and that was truly boring.
I wanted a fight! I wanted blood! I wanted savagery!
Cough cough... I mean, I just wanted to earn even more money.
"BOOOOOMMMM!"
'Oh, a large trap.'
Not even blinking an eye, I stood there stoically, as the explosion engulfed my figure.
As the flames subsided, I had already made it to the other side.
You see, although this trap had been a bigger trap, this had also led to it being extremely prone to being avoided as the time it took for the danger of the trap to reach a victim near the edges of the trap was longer.
So, I had just used Angel to protect my body from the explosion.

'Hmm... I did throw a leg into that area though, but the trap didn't trigger. Must be one of those threshold traps.'
Basically, these traps, although still activated by a weight pressing on them, were only activated when the weight passed a certain threshold.
'That means they're starting to spend even more money.'
Ahh... this also made my life much worse.
'Seems like I'll be dragging bodies around from now on.'
But, wasn't there always a smarter way to do things?
"Market, give me a dimensional bag, a medium sized one will do."
And, just like that, all the worth that I had, accumulated from the 5 days worth of grinding monsters that I had done, disappeared, just like that, with a little more disappearing from what I had even beforehand.
'It's still a lot of money, so I don't think I'll need to worry.'
But, then again, those were some famous last words.
"You guys! The money bag is right there!"
'I've already been given a nickname? Sigh...'
Spitting on the ground in front of me, I turned around to face the group.
'Just get out of my sight.'
'Endendyk House, Sword Art, Crimson Autumn, Third Form: An Ember in the Ashes.'
Needless to say, they all died quickly, as I just stared at their split in half bodies, uninterested by this whole situation.
Oh yeah, just a note, I had been using exclusively the Endendyk Sword Art to, first off, piss off my dad as he racked his mind trying to figure out who had taught me, second off, to not show any other cards of mine, and third off, to just get rid of uninteresting fiends quickly.
It was sad really, the fact that I had become bored so quickly again.
So, being as bored as I was, I went about the menial tasks of collecting the half bodies that littered the ground around me, storing them in the dimensional bag that I had just bought.
'Ugh, at its limit already? So fucking useless.'
Even though I had spent so much money on it...
Well, the past wouldn't fix itself, so I could only make do with this.
Leaving the remaining bodies behind to rot, I continued on my journey.
Until I finally reached the foot of a humongous volcano.
Looking up at the far away crater that marked the vent of the volcano, I could actually see the lava being spit out of the volcano's throat as it sputtered in the air for a moment before dripping down the sides.
'Welp, time to go get a family inheritance.'
This was an ancestral ground of the Endendyk Family after all.
So a few treasures had to be lying around.
That was just common sense.
Yet, it was only I who knew exactly where these treasures were.
"Angel: I will not burn." I muttered.
Then, I started my long hike up the volcano.
