It was by no means an easy cause to save all the trapped cultivators out of the vast Northern Land of Arctic.
Human cultivators established the base camp in the Sand Buried Forest so that they could lead cultivators to Chong State and then send them out. It was a dreadful rush-they had to evacuate ordinary people and fleeing cultivators, and meanwhile enter the Northern Land of Arctic in search for the wounded.
The Northern Land of Arctic was adjacent to Chong State and neighbored on the Fiend Realm, that was known to all. On the next side of the Fiend Realm was the boundless Thirteen Oceans of the Demon Realm.
The dazzling sunlight spread on the shimmering oceans. Everything seemed peaceful.
The sweeping Thirteenth Ocean connected the Demon Realm and the Fiend Realm, under which numerous brutal and fierce demons lurked. The ocean was in light blue, and the seawater surged with breeze until ripples quivered slowly from the center to the edge of the ocean.
Those ripples were so subtle that no one could notice them.
When the ripples reached the border between the Thirteenth Ocean and the Fiend Realm, the splash of water came. On the shore, the fine sand suddenly sank a little bit, and a vague footprint appeared silently. When “it” made the second move, there was no trace anymore.
It seemed that an invisible man went ashore from the ocean and walked across the beach step by step, passing the Fiend guard who was sitting cross-legged for cultivating. It stepped on the blood-red, earthy soil, and ultimately penetrated a thin ward. The whole process was so smooth and inconspicuous, just like a trickle flowed into ocean.
No one, not a single cultivator in the Fiend Realm noticed this unexpected guest!
Stepping on the territory of the Fiend Realm, “it” finally showed its true color.
The large and thick black cloak covered most of his face, only revealing a defined jaw. His lips were extremely thin without any color. His whole body was shrouded in the cloak, and he didn’t stop for anything. He just stepped forward and went deeper into the Fiend Realm.
He seemingly walked slowly, yet came and went spectrally in quick succession. Every time he showed up, he was hundreds of meters ahead.
In the Demon Realm, the seductive and fascinating Demon Exalt Yin Ji was sitting on her throne. Her fair fingers were gently stroking her lips. She looked down at humanlike demon who was kneeling in front her. She giggled with a hoarse and sexy voice, “He really goes there?”
The kneeling demon still lowered his head. Actually, he would rather bury his head into the ground if possible. He dared not even glimpse at Yin Ji, but his eyes were tinted with hatred. He said with a bitter voice, “Yes, my Exalt, the Ocean Master has set out.”
Yin Ji pursued, “How long will it take him to bring back those two little bastards?”
The demon said firmly, “The Ocean Master said it would take him one day from the First Ocean to the Northern Land of Arctic, three days utmost to find those two humans, and just an instant to come back. He promises to finish the mission in five days.”
Beside the Feng Shen Sea in the Northern Land of Arctic, Luo Jianqing and Mo Qiu didn’t know that one of the top Demon Exalts had crossed the Thirteen Oceans and was about to enter the Northern Land of Arctic. After searching around in the cave bottom, they flew out of the bottomless cave easily.
Luo Jianqing had reached the middle stage of Out-of-Body long ago, much more powerful than the middle stage of Gold Core in his last incarnation. Besides, he wasn’t badly wounded like that time, so flying out was a breeze.

As they came out, Luo Jianqing put away the Interspatial Ring that Mo Qing had given him. He turned to Mo Qiu and saw him keeping straightening his blood-red clothes. Mo Qiu noticed that and raised his head, saying sulkily, “What, you want to go down there again? Luo Jianqing, you’d better not. We have agreed to leave the Northern Land of Arctic as soon as possible.”
Hearing that, Luo Jianqing said, “Then, let’s go.”
They moved quickly without more words.
Luo Jianqing recalled that according to Seeking Immortality III, Li Xiuchen obtained a lot of relics and instruments in the remaining of Mo Qing.
When the book used “a lot of”, it actually meant “countless”, and this was how the book described: These instruments were distributed in four storeys. The bottom storey stored hundreds of instruments, the third storey stored ten, the second storey store ten, yet when it came to the top storey, it only had three instruments. However, all the three instruments gave out overwhelming pressure and had dazzling halo around them. No one dared to underestimate them.
Four-storey instrument mountain? Luo Jianqing didn’t see it at all.
Mo Qing just gave him an Interspatial Ring, and the ring had a restriction, which made Luo Jianqing unable to open it. On the other hand, although Mo Qiu was Mo Qing’s direct line of descendant, Mo Qing didn’t mention it at all, nor did he give many instruments to Mo Qiu.
These doubts really puzzled Luo Jianqing. Just as he thought about these things, he heard Mo Qiu’s soft voice, “Luo Jianqing, I like the thing you’ve given me this time.”
Luo Jianqing asked with astonishment, “What thing?”
Mo Qiu said, “You really don’t know what that consciousness… also my ancestor gave me?”
Luo Jianqing certainly had no idea, yet Mo Qiu sneered and said calmly, “It’s his insights of cultivation.”
Luo Jianqing was baffled all of a sudden.
Mo Qiu said, “He had touched the ceiling towards Deity Transformation, so his insights are very important for me, which can help me a lot. I’ll take it as your repaying of my life-saving favor. But don’t forget, I have saved you many times; this is only one repaying!”
Luo Jianqing, “…”
Luo Jianqing suddenly sped up and flew out of the Feng Sen Sea. He was quite desperate to get rid of Mo Qiu. Seeing that, Mo Qiu also picked up speed and said, “Why are you suddenly flying so fast without informing me!”
Luo Jianqing didn’t want to respond, “…”
So, following the direction shown by Lady Liu Xi and Lady Luo Zheng, they two finally left the territory of the Feng Shen Sea after another day. When they passed a hill, a continuous mountain range greeted their eyes. They both stopped at it.
Luo Jianqing looked down at the winding range and pursed his lips quietly.
The range was like a giant black dragon in dead sleep. The hill in the northwest was its tail, and the steep peak in the northwest was its bridling head. The peak there was the origin of the whole mountain range-the Ku Mountain.
The scenes of the collapse of the Ku Mountain leaped before Luo Jianqing’s eyes. Everything seemed to have happened yesterday. However, currently, the Ku Mountain looked peaceful and calm from distance, as if there were no danger at all.
Anyway… It was still the Ku Mountain!
