Yin Ti monsters with no tolerance and patience, like famished wild dogs, promptly barred their large jaws and whacked Binh An with their pointed, bony hands.
Binh An quickly dodged out of the way in a blink of an eye.
Other demons also followed closely behind, the impulse to rip apart the fat prey in front of them in order to quench their hunger for flesh was instantly sparked, acting like ants seeing honey, like cats seeing fishes.
Without giving it any thought, Binh An successfully fought them off by employing a few spiritual martial art techniques. The gummy liquid gushed out every time he touched their flesh, and bits of disintegrated flesh clung to his body. A rotten stench rose up, instantly penetrating his nose, making him shiver and his goosebumps emerge. He had to retreat quickly further behind.
Before, Binh An could only reflexively dodge while being in sudden and frequent attacks to conserve his soul. When he was finally able to separate himself from them, he had the opportunity to observe the enemy more thoroughly.
These demons were truly hideous and dreadful; they were indeed assembled from human body parts, not in any particular order, sometimes a leg could hang on the shoulders, a head could hang at the bottom of the feet. As long as they could help themselves stand up, they would not be picky, even rotting corpses were used to the fullest. The more they filled the body, the more powerful they became.
The demons could use their overwhelming number, worked as a team and landed an attack on Binh An at the same time, which would help them quickly knock down the prey, however, these hideous things were no longer conscious, and every one of them wanted a big piece of Binh An’s meat for themselves. There was clearly a competition between them.
Binh An also noticed entrails dangling from their body, a leg bone on their arm, a chunk of rib cage at their feet, and a heart still "thumping" on their neck. The sickening sticky water, which made up of blood and other pulverized organs, was extremely nauseating.
The use of inhuman violence and the violent exploitation of the rulers led to the abrupt transformation of a formal, beautiful court into a battlefield, a sight of tremendous turmoil, death, disgust, corruption, and horror.
Interminable knocks and screams resonated in every nook.
Binh An had to fight more than a dozen of these demons by himself; his soul was incredibly frail and weak, like a little fire in the wind. If he committed only one error, his soul would no longer meet with sunshine.
He had expended a lot of energy on the entire voyage to get here, and now that he was here, he was still up against these undead demons, and there was no way he could win an advantage, so he had to devise a strategy for fleeing.
There was only one exit from here, and that was through the Gates of Judgment, which was located right behind Binh An. Everyone thought they were shut tight, but it was just a deception. The gates were still open to the sides, Binh An could see a long line of souls awaiting their trials, all of whose faces were innocent and who were still unable to view the scene of carnage inside.
But it wasn't the open or closed gate that concerned Binh An, it was the Underworld Guards - Yin Binh. The Underworld would absolutely not allow any turning back, as this would interrupt the constant movement in Yin Ti and go against the flow of Samsara - the cycle of life, death, and reincarnation. Even if he managed to escape, he wouldn't be able to avoid being slashed across the neck by a brutal, decisive Yin Binh and his weapon.
The demons attacked with ferocity; they did not seem to be afraid of Binh An countered attacks, as they had the capability to reassemble themselves. Every time Binh An broke their bodies, they lifted their heads, searched for fragments of skin and bones, and reassembled themselves into the body, eventually standing up altogether to attack Binh An, aggressively driving him into the passive position.
While he was struggling with the numerous demons, above the top of his head, the entire Underworld was having a great time enjoying the show. The Emperor also lazily commented while resting his hand under his chin.
"You can't escape anyway, why try so hard, it would only cost you more damage to your soul. Bowing your head before me and pleading fervently, perhaps I could spare you a couple of days of hard labor in the Depths of Hell. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha"
That satisfying laugh was extremely sinister, making Binh An scowl as being annoyed. He gritted his teeth, hissing through the gap.
"It seems that I've been entertaining you for a while now!"
Having said so, Binh An didn't think twice about anything else; after hitting three demons at the same time with his palm full of spiritual bursting flame, he rushed straight towards the big gates, which took the whole council by surprise.
They initially thought that he would slow down and try to open the gates first, rather than heading for it without hesitation, as if the gates were merely a wall of mist to him, easy to pass through.

"WHAT?!"
"What's the meaning of this?"
"What meaning? We should have closed the gate knowing that we have to deal with that kind of thug!"
"You saw his fight and you still think a stone gate can stop someone like him? That's why the illusion is for, to convince the soul to think that they are trapped and that their efforts to escape are futile!"
"That's not the point! Didn't you all just see? He just goes through the gate like nothing? Did he know the gate is not closed?"
“But how could he have known the gate was open!?”
“Wait! Wait! Come to think of it, how could he have witnessed the trial of two souls before him? There is no soul capable of that!"
“Did he practice any particular magic?”
While the Officials were bewildered, The Underworld Emperor couldn’t retain his patience, and shouted.
“STOP HIM AT ONCE!!! YOU USELESS DEMONS!!!”
Binh An rushed outside the gate, and immediately the light hit his face, it was not too strong, just enough to see the road, but it briefly obscured and blurred his vision. Fortunately, his eyes quickly adjusted, he immediately felt that, despite his unpleasant experience out there in the desert, the exterior was considerably much nicer than the inside of the palace.
Binh An immediately aimed for a gap between the two Yin Binh, knowing he only had a split second to keep his head attached to his torn body and from getting slid off by those terrifying-looking scythes. He took a deep breath, refused to stop, rather increased his speed, his eyes were brighter than ever, he used all his strength to push himself smoothly between the two Yin Binh.
It was unexpectedly successful.
Yet, he didn’t have the moment of celebrating his achievement, Binh An did not look back, and proceeded to dash out into the great desert, leaving The Underworld Emperor and the Officials in even more disbelief.
"How come Yin Binh didn't stop him?"
"What exactly is going on?"
Just as the Officials were finishing their sentence, one demon, who didn't know any better and tried to make the same attempt as Binh An, was swiftly cut into two pieces by the Yin Binh, while a second demon was also the victim of another Yin Binh with his swinging giant stone pestle, comes a very loud sound, "BOOM!", got itself smashed into a slimy patch.
The other demons stopped themselves and watched in horror. For them, Yin Bing remained their greatest fear, despite the Underworld Emperor kept on roaring madly within the Great Hall, they did not dare to move, remaining huddled together like a swarm of ants and staying close to where they were.
Before the Underworld Emperor's fury, the sky turned dark in just a second, billowing black clouds suddenly appeared and swallowed the whole sky, which started to strike with lightning and thunder constantly.
"EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO SEARCH EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY OF THIS UNDERWORLD! YOU MUST FIND HIM AND BRING HIM HERE BEFORE ME!!!"
