Chapter 2: Getting everything together

System show me my panel. With that, a transparent blue screen appeared in front of him instantly. 

He was fascinated about all of this at first glance, but Mike was a novel eater so he was only a little surprised and excited for few moments and that's it, since he did read about those things in novels and he won't be surprised even if his village ceased to exist like he said earlier.

Seeing the added skill, Mike knew what it meant without needing to check but he still chose to check it just in case something was different from the games he played or the novels he read , with that thought in mind the description of invisibility popped in front of him.

[Invisibility] ( can he used while fighting) : one of chokatabra's skills that without it he would have died long ago cause of how wanted he was ( only when he was weak to protect himself) , it allows you to stay invisible for a period of 1 minute , cooldown: 5 minutes. the skill will get stronger on each tier advancement. 

Note : stronger people than you can sense your existence arround them , and stronger people than those can directly see through ur skill.

Upon seeing the first few lines Mike almost jumped up with joy, but after he saw the note he calmed himself down.

Thinking about it, its totally reasonable to have limitations or else it would have been so broken, but all I have to do is advance in tiers and it will get stronger with me.

But I should actually thank that demon for trying to kill me or else I wouldn't have gotten this big gift from the start. 

Thinking up to this point, Mike went to check the things he needed to know to clarify his doubts, he called in his mind, system show me what's MP.

With that another window popped up in front of him.

[MP] : Magical power that every person have to cultivate if they wish to get stronger, Every person have magical power since the day they were born but it can actually be seen or be controlled if the person cultivates it.

Seeing this Mike wasn't surprised but he still wanted to ask something. And how do I increase my magical power with Cultivation. 

[Host needs to stay in a lotus position and start feeling the air arround him, and at some point depending on ur affinity with mana ( talent) you will start feeling tingling sensations on your skin, and all you have to do after that is absorb those little specks of lights that u will be able to see at that point of time and circulate them inside your body to do a full rotation from top to toe, that's only the basics so you need to learn the rest by yourself] .

[since the host have the system with him, simply by killing magical creatures you can increase your lvl and MP and advance in tiers].

Mike understood the logic behind it but he still had to try it out later. After all he just came here so he have to try and understand a little about his situation and then start his journey of getting stronger.

Thinking up to this point Mike decided to go out and check how is it outside. But upon opening the door he was actually a little disappointed by how premitive his house looked like , even though he already saw it in his body's memories, but seeing it with his own eyes is still different.

Well this is another world so I can't really hell it I guess and have to get used to those premitive things. And I'm still in a village after all so the towns and cities might be way cooler than this plain sight. 

His Room was basically a little far from the main house, it was a simple looking from outside and nothing was worth mentioning to be honest since it's only wood and 2 meters in width + height. 

Upon checking his surrounding he saw a few trees in front of his room thatt weren't so tall indicating that they just been planted there but they were almost dying cause of the cold since we are at winter , a small pavilion was located next to him on the right which Mike believed that it's the main house where his parents live, it was made from wood, a  2 story building that looked quiet antique and nothing else was eye catching since it was simple and crude. The full house itself was only a basketball terrain worth of size, but knowing their family condition he wasn't that surprised.

His family was wealthy before, but his father lost almost all of his money in gumbling over an arena fight in the city which led them to move from the city to this village cause of the pressure from the other noble families, so they bought this piece of land with what money they had left.

But what actually surprised Mike the most now wasn't his house or family condition.

But it was the fucking dragon. Yes you didn't hear wrong, it was a dragon so big that he can see it clearly from this far, but he can't say the size for sure since it's a little hard cause of the distance between them. 

But what surprised him even more than that was that above that huge dragon stood a middle aged man. Simply standing there like he is riding a bus and not mounting a dragon.

The size of the dragon cannot be measured from this distance but there is no problem seeing the middle aged man since they weren't that far up anyway. 

He instantly checked the memories that he gained to try and see if this is normal, and after checking. He did expect such an answer to his question , he saw that it is indeed a normal occurrence that happens few times each month and occurding to his father, the powerful existence behind their empire subdued a middle sized dragon's tribe and made them work for his Empire in transportation. 

Transporting goods and people all over the ancient River's Empire, but this privilege only goes to Nobles or people who have enough money to afford it, but since only nobles can afford it then only nobles dare to hire a dragon for transportation cause of how much it costs. 

Which sadly the father of this body doesn't know the details about the cost and such since he was only a low ranking noble barely getting by in the city and thats why he was gumbling all of his money so maybe that he can change his fate by chance.

Pushing the matter of the dragon taxi to the back of his mind, Mike started to focus on the most important thing to do right now. 

Which is to get out of this village and go try his skill in the forest and maybe get some levels if things weren't that hard.

Jessica called out to her big brother upon seeing him leaving the house " Yo Mike where are you going early this morning, take me with you or I tell mother". 

Upon reaching the houses door to go out, he heard a girl's voice calling out to him from behind.

Turning arround, he saw an above average looking girl thats about 16-17 yo, she was wearing a skirt with few holes in them and a shirt that looks like it didn't get washed for some time, or maybe it simply got weared and washed a lot that it now looks like it's going to detonate by itself. She had black tall hair that extended all the way to her waist matched with brown big eyes and a small pointy noise 

Mike was speechless at this sight, poor girl she doesn't know that her brother Mike is long gone from this world and a new one took over , maybe go tell mommy about his death, but ofc he was only thinking about it and didn't say it out loud.

Mike answered Jessica with a smile" I'm going to the forest to gather some woods for tonight, it's not suitable for little girls like you, so go back to mom and tell her that I'll be back later".

Jessica almost burst out from laughter upon hearing him, she mocked while trying her best to hold her laugh " u are getting bullied by guys younger than you, and u actually dare to go to the forest at this time, stay in the village or else they might get you there, didn't you learn your lesson already". 

The girl actually knew that he is going to the forest since he does that almost everyday, but she just wanted to go with him so she can witness him getting beat up.

After seeing how the other boys are in the village and comparing them to her brother, and especially the guy she loves. 

 she started to feel disdain towards Mike by the years and eventually she started to look down on him because of how usless and weak he is , even her is trying hard to work and get money for the house, and trying hard to get stronger. But her brother can't get a fixed job cause the other boys will beat him up whenever he tried to and her parents can't do anything about it since the other boys families are stronger. 

And her brother had no talents in magic nor martials arts unlike the others in the village which the majority of them they indeed didn't have magic power but they did learn some martial arts from their families, but her brother is basically usless and can simply gather woods and even get beat up while being at it, so he is forced in giving half of what he gathers everyday to his bullies. 

Seeing the almost bursting out of laughter face of his little sister and the disdain contained in her eyes, Mike didn't know how to answer in such a weird situation caused by the old owner of this body, so he simply said smiling " I will still go and gather the wood, if you wanna come with me I don't mind it, the more the better after all". 

He didn't actually care about this little sister, of his, he was simply thinking of gathering enough money to get himself some decent books and a wepaon so he can get out of this village as soon as possible. 

As of this sister of his, hehehe let's simply hope she comes back alive today. Ofc it's only if she steps on the line where she shouldn't, cause I'm not interested in getting into trouble without even having the strength to start it. 

Mike was never the good guy in his past life, remember the robbery death that we talked about? He was the leader of that group, and after they stole money from a bank, his group betrayed him, killed him and took his portion which was the biggest. Cause that was their last operation before they stop the robbing business, since they already got enough money after few robberies. 

Even though Mike had a job,  it was never enough to make him live in the city, after all he was just working in a shop next door. 

Mike biggest reason for not going out of line in his past life and simply sticking to his job and robbing and not joining gangs and mafia, was basically cause of law and the high risk of jail. 

With just robbing and running, and with enough skills and planning, it was never hard to rob banks or people. But ofc it's still risky, but he was lucky and never got caught. 

So putting Mike in a fantasy world where the powerful rules and the weak be ruled upon is like putting a lion in a sheep's house ( well for now he is the sheep) . Ofc he is not that stupid as to do whatever he wants without getting stronger first . And he isn't a murderer or anything, but for benefits he will do anything, ( like robbing, so he can live a good life in his past life). 

But first what Mike's needs is to understand the magic power, martials arts and such of this world first before planing his next step and that's why it's time to head to the forest now to level up a little.
