The Wicked Player

Some people are just born wicked, and he is one of them.
 
Being a half-faerie his parents abandoned was all Florian knew about himself. Despite being poor, unable to control natural elements, and even bad at using magic, his passion to get stronger and grow is not lost in the slightest, because he is just so greedy.

But after twelve years of living with the only family he had in the human lands, there is a turning point where everything changes. Florian, who never left the secluded village he used to live in, is forced to flee for one of 5 restricted places in that world to stay alive, leading him to encounter so many things beyond reason. 

But when he meets someone who introduces herself as his family, he has no choice but to follow her, so his new life begins.

To solve all mysteries regarding the incident that happened to his previous family and continue living his simple dream, he decides to enter and play the game—a new and completely different life.
 
But the world is too rotten to play fair, so he chooses to play his own way.

This is the first story in the Litrpg genre I write, so please guide me in the meantime and let me know of any flaws since English is not my first language.

And FYI, the Litrpg is NOT the leading genre in this story.

The story starts rather slow, as it is filled with a slice of life, solving mysteries, family drama, politics, and school life.

Do not expect romance from the main character, because he is rather asexual, and in the first book, he is STILL YOUNG. But I will eventually add romance in the far future because as an author, I’m a sucker for romance too>.<
This story's journey is very long, so I’d be so happy if you are still with me until the end.
