Chapter 10: Ch 10. Strength, Knowledge and Connections

"Finally I am here. Fairy Library."

Glade was in a huge room with big stacks filled with countless books. The place where he currently was the Fairy Library. This library is the biggest library in the Gloria. This library has three floors. And public is only allowed to roam around first floor. But Glade is allowed to roam in any floor. Why? Because of Glade's wish.

Yesterday at the queen's office...

"I wish to have the permit to access everywhere in this country."

Glade said his wish. It wasn't he asked in random. Currently to live and complete his goals, Glade needed three things the most. First was personal strength. He need to be strong. Not just strong but strongest. His instincts were saying to him that if doesn't become the strongest, he isn't going to fulfill his goals.

Second was knowledge. He needed the all knowledge about this world to create an advantage. Or else it will quite difficult for him to live.

And third was supportive strength or in other words, he needs to have connections in this world. If he create connections with powerful individuals or with powerful countries like Gloria, then he can get supply of money, weapons and other necessary items.

In his situation, strength can't be acquired directly. He need to cultivate it step by step with a solid foundation. So, strength can be kept in do later list. Personal connections can only be made if agrees to other parties demands. That's why he agreed to Sylvia's words to save the country. And he was willing to do so too. But to do make connections, both parties need to have some strength in different fields. Otherwise who would make connections with a useless person or kingdom?

The reason fairy queen agreed to his wish was because he was in coincidence with their prophecy. He didn't have any type of upper hand except the prophecy. And Gloria was in critical situation as well. It can be said, he was lucky enough in this deal.

And now as to make connections, strength is needed which is absent in Glade's stats and it can only be done later. So the only thing left is knowledge. And he needs to acquire that. As Gloria was quite famous country when it was on land, it must have records of history and other main information such as ZODIACS. And to fulfill this condition, he wished for the permission to access everything in this country.

"Are you sure? You can wish for anything else." The queen was quite surprised at such queer request. But still decided reconfirm from Glade about the wish.

"Yes. I only need the permission." Glade was not going change his stands. After all he analysed everything and this wish was most profitable for him.

"Okay. I will give you this ring. It serves as permit to access everything. It is only second to me. Better not lose it." 

The queen then waved her hand and a ripple appeared on air. Glade was shocked but still maintained his shock with his signature stoic face. She then put her hand inside it as if it was a box and then took a green ring with wood plating. The wood was shiny and the green density in ring's gem which was Zoa's sap was much more than Amoura's ring. And the royal symbol - a tree with crown on top and wings behind it, was carved on it. Then she threw it Glade and he catched it.

"That's the ring. Just show it every guard and they will allow you to access everything. You can also use teleporters as you wish."

And that's how he got his wish fulfilled.

"Now in this library, I need to go straight directly to the 3rd floor. There will be no public and I can also read with silence. And all high authority books are also in the 3rd floor."

Glade without much delay walked straight to the teleporters that was installed in a corner room of the 1st floor. Except that teleportation carpet, there was no other way of going to upper floors of the library. 

In front of the room, guards were on full alert always observing people. Glade went towards thr room but guards stopped him. They were bit surprised to see a human, even though yesterday the news of human entering the country was already on the streets. The guards stopped him to ask for permit.

Glade showed his right index finger where he was wearing the green ring. Then the guard took out a glass panel just like magnification glass and used it to see his ring. It seems there was a way to identify the fake and genuine ring by identifying the sap. Not letting him to wait, both guards cleared the door and Glade finally entered the teleportation room. And unlike the before room, this room had two different carpets. One for 2nd floor and one for 3rd floor. He walked on to the one in right side which was for the 3rd floor. He activated it and got teleported to 3rd floor.
