Chapter 2: Ch 2. Project

"Glade, what is your dream?" A girl who was sitting beside the boy under the tree shade asked.

"My dream? I don't have one. After all most dream don't come true. But if you ask me, it means you have one. So, what is your dream, Blossom?"

"My dream is to go in a long adventure in a fantasy world. It sounds childish and can't be fulfilled but it is a dream." The girl replied with a beautiful smile which made the boy named Glade blush.

"W-Well, since I don't have a dream, how about sharing your dream with me?"

"Is it ok? You're the one who told dreams are unattainable."

"I-It's ok. I told that just as a figure of speech. Don't misunderstand that I…."

"I understand."

"Hey, what do you understand. I haven't even talked about the rest."

"Well, I also forgot to tell you one thing."

"What is that?"

"I want to go an adventure in fantasy world."

"You just told me about it."

"Listen first. I-I want to go in an adventure but…. with you by my side." Girl said with a full red face.

"W-What?" The boy who heard turned red as tomato.

The girl who said her wish ran while covering her face with both of her hands.

"W-Wait for me, Blossom." The boy ran behind her trying to catch her.

A hand slammed the red alarm clock and forced it to shut down. A boy of 17 opened his eyes to found himself in a dark room. All types of high-tech devices were all over the room. Though it is a room, it is several times bigger than a normal room. In the dark room, some neon lights of different types computer were functions which showed that some type of experiment to be on work. The boy woke up while holding his head because of headache.

"Morning comes too early. But it is good that I work up, though because every second I am here the more uneasy I feel."

The boy was apparently slept while doing an experiment. The boy was wearing a white coat over black t-shirt and underneath was a blue denim jeans.

"Damn, where are the glasses." The boy searched for the glasses as he couldn't see anything because of dark.

After searching a bit, he found his rectangle shaped glasses. After wearing his glasses, he turned on the room light.

"Ah! The sudden light gives a pain to my eyes. It's going to take time to settle down. But time is very short. Have to go for work. The project – "A lump of Soil" is in last stages. The workload has increased."

The boy quickly ran to bathroom for a quick shower. After the shower, he dressed and came near the long mirror to groom himself. On the mirror, A boy with the mixer of child as well as adult charm could be seen. This face gives an impression of a childish boy but could be reliable in critical times which attracts most girls. Plus, his long red hair which has been tied into a pig tail behind him gave an exquisite charm. And green eyes with glasses added more points into it.

*Ring… *

*Ring… *

"Hello, who are you? This is Prof. Glade speaking." The boy whose name was Glade answered the phone which was in his lab coat.

"Professor. The scientists are informing that something is wrong with data from the project no. 18! So, your presence is needed immediately!" A lab assistant said as other scientists informed him.

"Alright. Tell them to not do anything. I am coming within 10 minutes." Glade hanged up the call and ran to garage.

"So, what the hell happened?" Glade asked the other professors who were in sight while the incident. All the computers are blacked out and in middle where a big podium was fully empty.

"When, I came not only the computers are blacked out but the holographic coordinates and the diagram that was on podium is fully shut down. You all better give me good excuse." Glade asked as he was very angry for the incident.

"P-Professor, I-it was due to a small mistake during an input…." A scientist said in a very afraid face with a shaking voice.

"*Sigh * That's enough. How many times I have told you all to keep eyes on those calculations. We're research the power of God. Of course, some mistakes will occur, it also may be impossible but you all can't make such mistakes. Don't do it from next time. Now it is no time to chat. Go, turn on the comps and reinput the data saved on the project discs which are reupdated in every second. I am in my office room for a bit, after the restoration call me quickly." Alex scolded them and said the next course of action for the project resumption.

"Yes, and sorry for trouble, professor." The scientists said in unison.

Glade sat down on the chair having table at his front. On the table was laptop, pen stand and other necessary accessories. But among them the one stood out the most was a photo frame. In the photo, A boy much younger was with a girl with blue hair who was wearing a crown of white flowers on her top of head.

Looking at the photo, Glade just smiled with a sad face. But he quickly snapped out of his sad dilemma and his sad face was replaced with a burning determination in eyes.

"Don't worry, Blossom. Even if you're in hell, I will make sure to come to you to take you back with me."

Glade quickly washed up his face in a basin which was on a corner, and rushed off to the laboratory.

"I have to do. No matter what the cost, I have to complete this project. This project is the only clue I have to find Blossom. I can't give up after coming so far. Wait for me, Blossom!"
