Chapter 3: Ch 3. Gate

"Sir! Sir! There is reaction!"

An assistant rushed into Glade's cabin to inform him. After the re-input, when they all started the code, the holographic model which was to convert into real organic object was slowly morphing. Glade who heard him, no longer stayed in his office. He quickly wore his white coat and rushed to the large lab.

All scientists were rushing here and there in worry and excitement as well. After so many reattempts, this time the holographic model started to change from virtual to real, but even a bit of mistake will create a chain of errors and the world class experiment will fail! In this part of project, not even a bit of mistake is allowed.

Glade came in. As he came, all main scientists came near him to tell the progress of the project.

"What's the progress?" Glade asked directly.

"Professor, the morphing of virtual to real has started but it is very unstable. It can be shut off by itself any time." A scientist near him reported to him.

"Take me to the main computer." Glade said. The scientists led him to the main computer which is used to enforce direct commands on the holographic model.

To use it, all lead professors were needed to be present or else the gate to it will not open. It is a security created to keep away individuals to change the project as his wish. And it is also a protection against the spies or terrorists who might attack to steal this precious technology.

All main lead professors came to the room. After scanning of fingerprints and iris identification, the gate to room opened.

Glade directly ran to supercomputer and started to check all codes. Slowly while scrolling, he checked to find any errors. Glade who has eidetic memory, could easily memorize all this codes and due to his speed reading, he was quite suitable to check the computer codes. Then he found that a number '0' was missing from a syntax. He quickly typed it and re-run the program.

Now the holographic model which was unstable, some how become a bit stable. All scientists sighed with a bit of relief. But Glade knew that something necessary was missing for the project to complete.

Yes, the project lacked an important element to succeed. And Glade knew it. The reason Glade was in this lead professor despite his low age was because of his achievements in the field of science. He himself researched the God's particle, even before it was discovered.

'Now, the scientists are not putting much attention here. Better use it and test it. If it succeeds then… Blossom…'

From the inner pocket of his trousers, Glade took a chip. A very small chip. He slowly connected it to the computer.

Suddenly, the speed of morphing increased by 10 times. The virtual data was slowly becoming a real lump of soil! All scientist thought it was normal and were watching this shocking result. Slowly, Slowly the holographic model wasn't in the podium. Instead of it, a lump of soil was present there!

Yes, the project 18 – "A lump of soil" is a success. The humans have become the creator. Now, let it be soil, sand or gas, oil or diamonds. Anything! Anything can be created!

All scientist were smiling happily. Even Glade who always had a cold face, was smiling slightly. All scientists came to congratulate him.

"Prof. Glade we succeeded! We have created a legend!" An old scientist named Tom laughed happily. The lab was in happy atmosphere. But Glade had no time to celebrate here.

Glade who was near the computer, quickly took of the chip and then returned to his cabin. He quickly took his bag and walked to his car in parking. He quickly returned his home and opened the basement under his house.

The basement was not old and cranky and full of spider webs. It was clean and was made of steel. Yes, it was like an underground shelter. And all types of high-tech stuff was connected here and there. Glade without any hesitation, ran to the computer near a huge gate. Yes, gate.

"With this mystic code, maybe I can Blossom. No, I have to find Blossom."

He quickly took out a file from the drawer under the computer table. Some codes were written on it. Glade typed it and tried to correct as possible. And then, he connect the mystic code – chip to the computer. Slowly, space slowly was distorting. The gate which was near the computer was somehow was becoming like a portal from Sci-fi movies.

"Yes! I succeeded!" Glade was roaring loudly with full of tears. For the first time, his cold demeanour was nowhere to found. He looked like a normal person in search for something for years, and finally found it.

"Finally…Finally! I succeeded in opening the gate! Now I will find Blossom."

Glade quickly changed his dress from the lab coat to something sporty and casual. Then he took of a different eyeglass than his previous one. This eyeglass was somehow looking more modern or better to say looked like a bit of futuristic stuff. Then he removed the chip and broke it.

"The power of god is too much for humans." Then he came with kerosene tank and splashed it over everywhere. Then he looked the lab with a bit wet eye. He removed his tears, then his cold personality quickly came over. He then turned on the lighter and then threw it on ground. The lab caught fire. Slowly the lab was burning. The files, data disks, wires, everything. Without looking back, Glade stepped into the Gate.

"Blossom, everything that happened three years ago, I am going to correct it! Now, nobody can stop me, not even God!"
