May player Gong Yunyun open the door.

Wen Qing slowly walked to the living room. The bruise on his right shoulder ached, and his left elbow tingled like needles from time to time. His tears couldn’t stop.

It was too horrible.

What world of hardship is this……

But somehow he was still alive……

Thinking of this, Wen Qing gradually stopped his tears.

He was still alive.

His luck was very good.

He could live on.

After comforting himself for a while, Wen Qing went to the bathroom to wash his face. Then, he went upstairs, thinking about telling everyone what he had just discovered.

He walked up to the second floor, but there seemed to be nobody in the study.

After a moment of hesitation, Wen Qing walked to the third floor.

As soon as one foot reached the third floor, his footsteps suddenly stopped.

He didn’t know if the bedroom’s sound insulation wasn’t too good, or if it was the bedroom’s few occupants chatting too excitedly without controlling their volume, but Wen Qing, standing at the head of the stairs, could clearly hear their conversation.

“Si Wen, Yiyi, I feel like Wen Qing is definitely the guide.” it was Gong Yunyun’s voice.

“I know your specialties. Me and Zhou Zhou have announced ours at the beginning. Now, there’s only Wen Qing who’s hiding his.”

Gong Yunyun paused. She didn’t hide her dissatisfaction at all, and continued, “Do you still remember how he didn’t dare say his specialty at night?”

“The system only said we have a guide among us. It never said that the guide is an identity. Maybe his specialty is the guide, so he didn’t say it.”

Wen Qing lowered his eyes. He thought, although Gong Yunyun inexplicably targeted him, what she said made a bit of sense.

The system never said that the guide was a type of identity.

Did they fall into some kind of misunderstanding?

“Let’s vote for Wen Qing tonight. We have three votes. Now, we just need to make sure the others have less than three votes.”

Gong Yunyun seemed to be pacing around the bedroom. Wen Qing hear her footsteps, hurried and a little nervous.

“Si Wen, what I just said, can you pass it on to Zhou Zhou. If I go and say it, he will definitely think that I’m targeting Wen Qing……”

“Ah, this, this isn’t too good.”

“But Yiyi can’t talk with Zhou Zhou right now. You go talk with Zhou Zhou. Tonight, we’ll be able to end the game, and leave this hellish place.”

The four words “end the game” were very attractive. Li Si Wen hesitated for a while, and gave a low reply.

“Let’s go find Zhou Zhou now. I saw him and that basketball uniform god card together just now, what was he called, something Si Kong?”

The next second, the bedroom’s door suddenly opened.

Wen Qing thought they were still going to chat for a while. He stood in place in a daze, eye to eye with the three people in the bedroom.

Gong Yunyun stood by the door. Li Siwen and Chen Yiyi were behind her, and Chen Yiyi sat on the bed with her head lowered and her expression sluggish. It seemed that she hadn’t recovered.

Gong Yunyun crossed her arms, coldly staring at Wen Qing. “Did you hear what we said?”

“You came at a good time, I’ll give you a chance to explain now.”

Her attitude was arrogant, and brought a feeling of sarcasm.

Wen Qing frowned, curling his lips.

Gong Yunyun already thought he was the guide. No matter what he said now, the other party would think he was arguing.

Because he had just cried, Wen Qing’s eyes were a little red. His hand was wrapped in bandages, and he looked a little pitiful.

Seeing his appearance, an indescribable fire rose in Gong Yunyun’s heart: “Don’t be fucking pitiful.”

“Is it that you can’t think of an excuse? I’m telling you, pretending to be pitiful won’t work on me.”

Wen Qing’s eyebrows furrowed, and he slowly said, “I’m not acting pitiful.”

“I wasn’t thinking of an excuse either.”

Gong Yunyun coldly laughed, “Then why don’t you say anything?”

“So you admit it?!”

As she said that, she glanced at Li Siwen and Chen Yiyi behind her, and her expression gradually became excited. She seemed to try to restrain the expression on her face, but she didn’t succeed. Her cheeks still twitched slightly, and she looked particularly strange.

Wen Qing struggled for a while, before whispering: “I don’t speak because I’m speechless towards you.”

“The fuck did you say?!” Gong Yunyun’s expression changed. The twitching of her cheeks became more obvious. She didn’t have her delicate and pretty appearance from before, as if she had turned into a different person.

Suddenly, the bedroom door at the end of the corridor opened.

Zhou Zhou walked out, and lowly questioned, “What happened?”

This sentence was asked to everyone on the scene, but he only stared at Gong Yunyun.”

“Nothing.”

Gong Yunyun squeezed out two words. She slammed the bedroom door shut.

Wen Qing glanced at the closed door, then glanced towards Zhou Zhou who was in front of him.

Si Kong still stood by his side. Si Kong lightly glanced at Wen Qing, and returned to the bedroom soon after, closing the door.

Only Wen Qing and Zhou Zhou were left in the corridor.

Zhou Zhou’s eyes swept across Wen Qing’s face, before falling on his left arm and shoulder.

He wasn’t seen for a while, and he was injured again.

Zhou Zhou’s face turned gloomy, and he strode up to Wen Qing. “Was it done by Yu Xing?”

Wen Qing was stunned, “Wh, what?”

Zhou Zhou lowered his head. In the next second, his attention was attracted by a ring of red marks around Wen Qing’s wrist.

It was very obvious that this was because someone grabbed him harshly.

After being grabbed, what else did that person do?

Zhou Zhou’s throat slightly moved. He controlled his voice, and asked again, “Was this done by Yu Xing?”

He stared deeply at Wen Qing, his black pupils bottomless.

Zhou Zhou looked a little strange.

He didn’t know why, but Wen Qing thought of Gong Yunyun. He instinctively took a step back.

He shook his head, and told Zhou Zhou: “No, it’s not him.”

“I was washing the dishes just now and accidentally broke a plate, then it hit my hand……”

Zhou Zhou lowered his eyes, still staring at his wound, seeming to not have heard Wen Qing’s explanation.

He questioned, “Would you still have hit the porcelain piece without Yu Xing?”

Wen Qing took another step back. His back was against the staircase railing,

Zhou Zhou grabbed his hand, covering the ring of red marks around his wrist.

He held it tightly. Wen Qing couldn’t break free at all.

Zhou Zhou slowly said: “I went to find Si Kong just now, he’ll vote out Yu Xing tonight.”

His lips hooked up, and he gently told Wen Qing, “As long as we vote Yu Xing out, you’ll be fine.”

Wen Qing’s heart jumped. It seemed like it wasn’t his delusion.

Zhou Zhou had really become strange.

He roughly said, “But, but Yu Xing isn’t the guide.”

Zhou Zhou’s face suddenly turned chilly. “Who said he isn’t?”

Seeing his appearance, Wen Qing felt a little scared, and quietly explained, “He, he holds the god card, and, and he’s too active, so he probably isn’t the guide……”

Wen Qing tried to persuade Zhou Zhou: “If we vote wrongly, not only will Yu Xing die, another monster like the three-headed dog might even appear.”

“You, don’t be so anxious, I just found an important clue in the study.”

Zhou Zhou stared deeply into his eyes for a long time, before the corners of his mouth pulled up. “I was just kidding just now.”

No, you weren’t.

Wen Qing lowered his head.

After realising how Zhou Zhou had turned strange, Wen Qing didn’t dare to be alone with him anymore. He stayed in the study instead of returning to his bedroom in the afternoon.

He put the book “Greek Mythology” in the center of the desk in the study and turned to the page about the three-headed dog. Everyone entered the study one by one and saw this small story, but they didn’t have any leads.

Time flowed by minute by minute, and in the blink of an eye, it was already half past eight o’clock.

There was still half an hour left before the second vote.

Everyone was seated around the table, quietly waiting for the system to appear.

Wen Qing clenched his palms, not knowing who he should write.

His mind was full of the three-headed dog and the nursery rhyme Finding a Friend, and he didn’t have any target of suspicion at all.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the table.

Wen Qing raised his head, only to see Chen Yiyi’s right hand resting on the table, stiffly knocking twice.

Her condition was much better than it was during daytime.

When everyone looked over, her eyes slowly shifted, and said, pausing after every word, “I saw them.”

Wen Qing was bewildered. What did she see?

Chen Yiyi pursed her chapped lips, and slowly said, “Last night, I saw them, Wen Qing’s person.”

Not waiting for someone to ask, she said a name: “Gong Yunyun.”

Wen Qing was startled, turning his head to look at Gong Yunyun.

Gong Yunyun looked more surprised than him. She stood up abruptly, her chair violently knocked away, and it made a screech as it dragged against the floor tiles.

Her eyes seemed to pop out as she roared: “Chen Yiyi! What sort of lies are you saying!”

“Why would I push Wen Qing?!”

Chen Yiyi stared straight at Gong Yunyun. Her face twitched, and her voice sounded like old bellows: “Because you’re the guide.”

Gong Yunyun had never expected that Chen Yiyi would suspect her when it was time to vote.

She looked demented, screaming at Chen Yiyi: “I’m fucking not!”

“Chen Yiyi, you’re actually the guide, right? If you really saw it, why didn’t you say so earlier! Why did you only say this now when we’re about to vote!”

Wen Qing pressed up against the back of his chair, watching the scene in horror.

Zhou Zhou, Chen Yiyi, Gong Yunyun, all of them had become really strange.

This, how long had it even been?

“Tick——”

It was nine o’clock. White papers and pens appeared in everyone’s hands.

Chen Yiyi was the first to write.

Wen Qing stared at his white paper. After a long time, he wrote down the two words ‘abstention’.
