Chapter 36: Ch36: The dungeon is going to get destroyed!

Ryan felt his body was circulating the energy from Ben's crystal heart. But it was not getting absorbed by his body. Ryan knew there was no way he could kill the giant who could surpass his speed and was 10 times stronger than him. Ryan knew the power source in Ben's power was keeping his body intact and controllable by Ben.

Ryan had to remove the energy source from Ben's body. He had attacked and his sword melted to the extreme power in the dungeon core. Ryan felt he could touch the core without getting injured. Just now, he had circulated a tiny fragment of power in the dungeon core. The power got circulated to the white crystal stone he stole from the evil moon gang.

Ryan had to remove it, the knife would work. The only thing in his mind was to remove the dungeon core which was Ben's heart with his bare hands as he was able to circulate the power of the dungeon core. It was a suicide. But death was already in front of him. It was either do or die. Ryan said to himself as he saw the giant Ben running at him at an unimaginable speed. Ryan had to take the risk. The dungeon core was glowing inside Ben's chest. Ryan was getting attached to it.

Ryan ran toward Ben with bare hands. Ben was taken off guard for a millisecond. They came closer. Ben punched at Ryan. Ryan dodged and jumped on Ben's leg. He didn't stop over there. Ryan jumped from his leg again toward the heart. Ryan almost reached and touched the heart. The dungeon core was a crystal the size of a fist.

Ben slapped Ryan and Ryan was thrown in a direction. He landed on the ground on his own knee and a hand on the ground. He looked up at the beast in front of him. Their eyes met. Ryan opened his right-hand fist. The dungeon core was in his hands. Ryan showed the white core to the giant Ben. He had won the fight and the core.

"Impossible, no one can control a dungeon core," Ben said as he fell down to the floor.

"Except for the dungeon master," Ben told his last line and died in the body of a giant.

"Huuu HUUU" Ryan shouted in excitement and to the content of his heart. He had finally defeated the monster, Ben. If Ryan would know how strong the giant Ben was. He would never have thought of entering the dungeon with him.

Ryan took a better look at the dungeon core. He had read that it was impossible for humans to touch the dungeon core. Even grandmasters would die just having a slight touch on it. The humans had no idea how to use the dungeon core, they couldn't even remove it from a dungeon. Ryan wondered what he should do with it. It was a dungeon core, he didn't want to take the destructive weapon out of the dungeon. It had the power to destroy Cape city.

The dungeon core can be found after destroying the main boss but it could not be removed. It was still a mystery how the dungeon could get refilled by monsters and beasts every time anyone could kill and clear the dungeon. They believed it was all related to the dungeon core, the power source of the dungeon which produced unlimited energy. It was believed that if the dungeon core is destroyed, the dungeon will fall apart.

"Tuk" Ryan heard a sound from the core. Ryan examined it properly. He saw a crack in the crystal.

"Shit" Ryan freaked out. Luckily, the dungeon core didn't fall to the ground. He didn't know what he should do.

"Tuk"

There was another crack on the dungeon core. Ryan understood it was because of his touch. He looked around and he didn't know where the dungeon core was placed. Ben might have known it but he was dead. Ryan knew the energy was scary and unimaginably strong. Ryan was alive because the dungeon core was harming his body. he was able to bear it for some reason. But if the dungeon core burst out. Ryan could definitely be on his way to hell or heaven. Soon, there was another crack. There was nothing he could do. Ryan could see his destruction, his death in front of his eyes. He was nervous, tension and fifty other emotions in his body were dangling around each other.

The dungeon crystal broke into two parts. The wave of energy came out. It was white in colour. Ryan felt the whole universe had less energy compared to the energy coming out of the crystal. Ryan hadn't seen such a bright white ray of light in his life and it was just inches away from him. The white light was coming out of the broken dungeon core in his hand. Ryan thought it would blast the dungeon but rather the white light was revolving around him as the earth revolves around the sun.

Soon, the white light stopped coming out of the dungeon core. It was a colourless stone now. Ryan let go of it. Ryan thought of what he should do with the white light revolving around him.

"The crystal from the evil moon gang" Ryan had completely forgotten about the crystal in the excitement of defeating the giant Ben and getting the dungeon core in his hand.

Ryan removed the core from his pocket. The crystal had turned purple in colour. The white energy quickly went inside the purple core and it shined in purple colour. Ryan felt relieved, this wasn't a problem he could hide from the public. Finally, He solved a problem.

"Thud"  "Thud"

The surrounding was falling apart. The dungeon depended on the dungeon core and now that he had the dungeon core destroyed. The dungeon didn't have a power source and was shattering apart. It was an extremely scary phenomenon. Ryan might be stuck in space if he didn't get out now.

Ryan used the dungeon key and ran out without looking back.
