Chapter 2: [1] Experiment

"It's a fine day Mr. Stuvian Sir! That's some fresh ingredients you are carrying"

At the moment, I'm holding a bag filled with this world's version of vegetables and other things I could use for experiments later. 

"A fine day indeed Sir Gustan, I hope you are doing well." I greeted him back. He gave out a big smile as we proceeded to a small chat.

This is the tavern owner of the place I frequented to eat at these past few days. After an idle talk, his face suddenly had a hint of seriousness and his tone lowered.

"You look like you need some help in managing your home, why not hire my daughter to do the job? she's a good cook." 

Hearing that, I immediately thought of an excuse and turned down his offer. Mr. Gustan just laughed it off and said he can provide help over food stuff if needed. I thanked him and took my leave after. Finally arriving at my house, I secretly heaved a sigh and proceeded to the kitchen.

It's been 6 days ever since my arrival in this world which is vastly similar to the design of the game yet no presence of Player existence. When I woke up, I found myself becoming my character and standing in this house which I recently purchased in-game with real currency located in a place so far from my last log-off point.

Everything now feels so realistic that it scared the sht out of me. I tried to call the MD but the setting seemingly disappeared, only my character stat and inventory can be seen from my interface. It took me a bit more time to get my thoughts together and actually plan what to do next. On my first day, I went out to see whether there were Players who were in the same situation as me. The place I'm currently in is one of the big cities on the eastern continent. Unable to use my powers like it used to in the game,  I began to walk around the city hoping to see any player establishment but unfortunately saw none. It also made me exposed to the crazy idea that these people were not behaving like NPCs.

I put the purchased ingredients on the table. Even going to the market is part of the observation. These days I took note of the things I did and compare them with my knowledge of the game. You always need the interface when prompting to interact with an NPC. All my interactions with people so far further proved that they're real humans, yet I'm still baffled as to how I came to this world as my own character.

I look at the carved formation magic on the stove. I've seen this as another way to summon fire when I was allowed access to view how Sir Gustan cooked.  According to his explanation, instead of saying the incantation, the caster can just infuse their mana into the formation to get it working, following the design it was instructed to do. This method is especially useful to people who don't have talent in magic but is blessed with mana when they were born. I also learned that such commodities like these are rare and valuable. Formation magic practitioners are even fewer which can be said to be already unusual if there are two in one city. Though this type of magic never existed in the game as far as I can tell.

It's my first time trying magic today since I only did an intel gathering for the past few days.  For some reason, I cannot use my divine spell-casting abilities after many tries, which is why it's a bit nerving to say that I might not be able to use magic here, and I'm about to find out. I thought about some movies and novels I've read back on earth and tried to copy them. 

I focus all my thoughts on the formation and imagined.
