“Ugh!” Vlad opened his eyes and sat up, holding his head with an expression of pain.
An intense headache attacked him. It was so painful that it felt as though a metal pin was digging into his brain.
At the same time, memories that did not belong to him appeared in his mind.
The memories were vague, but they were filled with unknown information that he could not process. Things like airplanes, cars, firearms, internet, and more.
Eventually, the pain faded away and Vlad let out a sigh of relief.
“Did I reincarnated?” He murmured to himself.
He remembered his previous life. In that life, he was a powerful Demon Hunter. He hunted countless demons and monsters in his life and became one of the world’s most famous Demon Slayers.
His last target was one of the most powerful vampires, Vampire Progenitor Ana Grando Alilovic, the Lady of Blood.
A vampire that had transcended the limits of the world and lived almost four centuries.
Such a being could not be killed easily. The number of people in the world able to kill her in a fight was zero. Even the people that could defeat her could not stop her from escaping with her life.
Thus, to kill her, he created a bold plan.
He disguised himself as a normal human, and using information he got from several sources, he made contact with her.
Then, he made her fall in love with him.
It was very hard. Ana was a very suspicious woman. She had lived for so long that she did not trust anyone.
But even so, he continued insisting. He fooled himself into becoming the man he was acting as, and immersed himself in that identity so deeply that he almost forgot who he really was.
Like that, and after two years, he finally achieved his goal.
Ana fell in love with him.
But there was a small problem.
He fell in love with her as well.
Unknowingly, that fake identity became his real self.

But that did not stop him from continuing his plan.
Because he had lost his family to vampires, and he had sworn to kill every one of them.
When he was sure that Ana had fallen in love with him, he contacted several powerhouses and created a trap for her.
Even if Ana trusted him, Vlad knew that he alone could not kill her. She was too strong. Much stronger than him. If he wanted to kill her, he needed help.
Eventually, the day of the attack arrived. Over fifty powerhouses joined hands and attacked the Vampire Progenitor inside an array that would stop her from escaping.
The battle was very fierce. Half of the fifty attackers were killed by Ana, and the rest suffered several degrees of injuries.
But eventually, they succeeded.
They managed to subjugate her.
Only–
“I never expected she had one last card hidden. As expected of the most powerful vampire.” Vlad smiled self-deprecatingly, remembering the explosion that claimed his life.

At that moment, more memories appeared in his mind.
Memories of a childhood in a mansion, of loving parents and mischievous siblings that watched him grow.
And finally, memories of all of them being killed in a night.
Immediately, tears appeared in his eyes.
“… Yeah, now I remember. I’m Silver Bullet, but I’m also Vlad Radetic.”
A painful feeling of sadness constricted his chest, and his mind was filled with pain and hatred. The memories of that nightmarish night made him grunt in pain and he found it hard to breathe.
Vlad clenched his fist and took a deep breath to calm himself down.
“Revenge. Yes, I will take revenge. Soon, I will avenge my family.”
Fortunately, it seemed that his wounds had healed. Vlad was not sure how he survived and why he was uninjured, but the most important thing was that he was alive.
He checked his body carefully to see if anything was wrong before sighing in relief.
But suddenly, Vlad remembered something and frowned.
“It can’t be.”
He closed his eyes and tried to circulate the mana in his body only to find something wrong. Quickly, his expression became ugly.
“… My mana core was crippled. Bastards!”
In this world, the mana core was the most important part of a practitioner. Without it, you could not progress beyond a certain point.
He remembered that before dying, a masked man had pierced his abdomen. Most likely, he had destroyed his mana core at that moment.
It was a measure to stop the mana in the body from healing the wounds. After all, some people had powerful regenerative abilities that could regenerate even wounds to the heart.
“How troublesome… Does it mean that I won’t be able to cultivate? No, there must be another way. Perhaps I can use the training method of my previous life.”
Vlad was about to attempt it when all of sudden, several characters appeared in his mind.
