Tildo woke up.

Tildo decided not to bathe today as well.
Tildo decided not to wear a tie.
Tildo decided to wrinkle his shirt before wearing it.

Tildo does not remember how he got to work.
He does remember the security guard stopping him from entering for improper dress code.

Tildo used his hand to comb his hair, and tucked his shirt in, right outside the building, only to untuck it again after the guard let him enter.

Tildo looked for Jeanette.
Tildo greeted Jeanette.
"Oh," said Jeanette, "were you in a hurry today?"
"No," said Tildo excitedly.
"oh.." said Jeanette, backing a little, "were you chased by a dog?"

Tildo laughed.
He laughed because it was a funny joke.
Jeanette is certainly a very funny person.

Oh, but Tildo was getting impatient.
"No, no, Jeanette," he said in chuckles, "Oh, I wasn't chased by dogs."
"Oh, then what happened?"

Tildo did not answer.
Tildo stood there.
"I felt like not bathing today."
"Oh."
"Isn't it strange?"

"No, I don't think so," replied Jeanette.
"What are you talking about? It is very strange! Like what kind of freak just...you know... I am...I'm.."

Tildo could not complete his sentence.

What was he?
What did he expect to happen?
"Um," said Jeanette, "Tildo, you should take things easy a little. Don't you think so?"

Tildo left his work at 9:00 AM.

He stared at his hands, wondering how did he turn so pathetic.

Tildo reached his home and sat on his floor.

He somehow didn't feel worthy of the bed today.

His heart still ached.

Tildo stared at a wall.

He spent there for hours.

His mother came to annoy him, so he locked himself in.
The light was drying his eyes, yet he didn't blink.

Tildo had been a failure of a son, an employee, and a human.

The least he could do was to stare at the wall properly.

He felt if he blinked, he would lose his reason to live.
He had lost his job after all.
The only thing that was holding him to reality was the wall.

The wall was concrete.
It shall stay. It doesn't move.

Tildo did not want to think about what will happen if he blinks.

Tildo turned off the lights.

Tildo soon fell asleep.

Tildo woke up. He was guilty he wasn't staring at the wall. He told himself to stare at it extra hard today.
