Yong-Sun could not sleep because of excitement. He wanted to spend time alone with Ashma but Young-Jae always accompanied them. They could not get a chance for another date after Jeju Island. Today was the day when he would get the chance of spending time alone with her.
He was alone in his house with servants. He tossed and turned, sat and lay again on his bed with excitement and anticipation. On the last date he kissed her numerous times, this date, too he wanted to kiss her again and again. He looked at the phone where he had saved her pic which he took when she was looking at the peach trees. She was not aware when he took her picture.
It was 6 am in morning. He decided to call Ashma to talk to her. He was too delighted after thinking that he would meet her alone.
For the first time, she said "I love you" to him, though by mistake. He was on seventh heaven. He could not contain his happiness. He was ecstatic. He teased her and mocked her and then informed her that they had to go to a gallery. She was frustrated as no one was letting her sleep. He smiled at her annoyance and disconnected the call.
He jumped from the bed, did his exercise, practised his martial arts and went to the bathroom. He took a bath and got ready by wearing a black T-Shirt and blue jeans. He took off with his goggles and keys. He inserted the keys in the ignition. He was so excited that his hands were shivering.
Finally, he got the key in the ignition. He started the car and drove it to the Park Mansion. He was jumping with happiness. His feet practically were not touching the ground. He rang the doorbell and Iseul greeted him, "welcome, Sir!"
"Thank you, Iseul, where is everyone?" asked Yong-Sun.
"Sir is in his room, Ashma Ma'am is in the kitchen," replied Iseul.
"Ohh!"
"Please follow me," said Iseul.
"Lead the way," said Yong-Sun.
They both reached the kitchen. Yong-Sun's heart leapt out her chest with Ashma's one look. She was looking mesmerising in the green dress. He smiled at Ashma and said to Iseul, "I am hungry too."
"I will get something for you too, sir," said Iseul. She went to the gas stove section and started preparing breakfast for him.
"Hi!" greeted Yong-Sun.
"Hi!" Ashma greeted back. She was still not sure whether to say things to him that she didn't mean to. Should she break off with him or should she break off after the engagement ceremony?
"Where is harabuhji?" asked Yong-Sun even though he knew the answer.
"He is feeling under the weather. He has the flu, so he is having breakfast in his room," informed Ashma.
"Oh," Yong-Sun was shocked. He knew where he was but had no idea why he was there. He thought maybe he was avoiding having a fight with Ashma. "I should go and meet him."
Iseul placed the plate before Yong-Sun. Ashma said, "Eat your breakfast and then go."
"Yes ma'am. So are you ready?" asked Yong-Sun and took a bite of his eggs.
"But where are we going?" inquired Ashma.
"Surprise!" said Yong-Sun.
"Oh come on!" shouted Ashma.
"Fine. We are going to Ye's Park," informed Yong-Sun.
"Oh I have heard about that," said Ashma.
"Yeah, it's a tourist spot," educated Yong-Sun.
"May I ask how long will it take to visit and return?" questioned Ashma.
"Why? You don't like my company?" teased Yong-Sun.
"No, no, he is ill and I was thinking…" Ashma stopped mid-sentence.
"Thinking about him?" Yong-Sun completed her sentence for her.
"No one is here except me. I will have to take care of him," said Ashma.
"That's nice of you," exclaimed Yong-Sun.
"Eat!" Ashma was shy after hearing a compliment.
Yong-Sun too enjoyed his eggs, toast and tea. He was so hungry that he downed his food in a minute. More than hungry he was excited to leave soon.
"Let me meet with him and I will meet you downstairs," said Yong-Sun.
"Fine. Let me get my phone and my wallet," said Ashma.
Yong-Sun went upstairs to meet Young-Jae. He knocked at the door. In-Ho opened the door.
"Oh, thank god! Welcome sir, please tell him that he needs to eat," said In-Ho, frustrated.
"Harabuhji!" exclmeid Yong-Sun. He moved towards him.
"I don't feel like eating," pouted Young-Jae.
"But you need to eat for your strength," pressured Yong-Sun.
"I don't want to," sulked Young-Jae.
"Let me feed you, Harabuhji," offered Yong-Sun. Yong-Sun approached him, sat next to him and feed him soup with his own hands. "Pyo-ssi, please get his medicine," Yong-Sun addressed In-Ho. In-Ho went into the closet and took out a large box of medicines. While feeding, Yong-Sun informed, "Harabuhji! I am taking Ashma for some research purposes. We will be back soon, please eat and take care of yourself."
"I am not a kid. I can take care of myself," shouted Young-Jae. His voice was raucous.
"Yes, I can see that. Eat," said Yong-Sun. He again fed with his hands. Young-Jae drank the soup and Yong-Sun handed him the tea. "Drink it."
"Yes, ahppa," teased Young-Jae, sarcastically. "Go, you will get late. I will drink and eat everything Pyo-ssi will bring me."
"Are you not going to lecture me about her?" whispered Yong-Sun.
"You are going for business purposes, not on a date," said Young-Jae.
"I warned you, next it's your life, your will," Young-Jae shrugged his shoulder.
"You were wrong about her," said Yong-Sun.
"Leave," shouted Young-Jae.
Young-Jae knew he was wrong about her. Just to say sorry to Young-Soo she was working hard. He was very impressed with her brain. So easily she mixed three businesses and created an idea. One fashion house, one textile industry and one handicraft industry would present a fashion show together, it was an absolutely marvellous idea.
Meanwhile, Ashma went to her room. She pocketed her phone, her lip gloss, her mask and her wallet and came out to the living room.
"Iseul!" said Ashma.
"Yes!"
"Do you have a phone?" asked Ashma.
"Yes, I have," replied Iseul.
"Could you give me In-Ho and your number? That way I can stay in touch and you guys can keep updating me about his health," said Ashma.
"Yes, of course," replied Iseul. They exchanged their number and Ashma was ready to leave.
After feeding medicine to Young-Jae with his tea, Yong-Sun came down.
"How is he?" asked Ashma.
"Oh, don't ask," replied Yong-Sun.
"Why?"
"Wherever he gets ill, he becomes a kid, a complete child," warned Yong-Sun.
"Really!"
"Yeah, you will have to feed him, take care of him," said Yong-Sun.
"You fed him," laughed Ashma.
"Yes, I did," said Yong-Sun, proudly. "I even fed him his medicine."
"Good boy. Should we go today or stay with him?" asked Ashma.
"That's what I was thinking," replied Yong-Sun.
"You guys should leave," shouted Young-Jae in a hoarse voice from his room.
"Oh shit! Let's go," screamed Yong-Sun.
Iseul too signalled them to leave.
"If anything happens, call me," said Ashma.
"Yes, I will, now leave," said Iseul.
Yong-Sun grabbed her hand and dragged her outside. Both went outside and sat in the car. Ashma sighed loudly.
"What happened?" asked Yong-Sun.
"Not feeling okay," replied Ashma.
"Thinking about harabuhji?"
"Yeah, leaving him like this… I don't feel okay," said Ashma.
"If we won't go, he will blame himself and then he will scold us," educated Yong-Sun.
"Yeah, I know he is mad," mocked Ashma.
"Ha-ha," laughed Yong-Sun. "Don't worry we will get back as soon as possible. Almost 30 minutes on each side and rest how much time you would like to spend there."
"Okay, fine, let's go."
Yong-Sun started the car and they started their journey. A soft melodious English number was playing on the FM. Then it changed to K-Pop. They avoided speaking all through the journey.
True to Yong-Sun's words, they reached the Park in 30 minutes. The Park was jampacked with cars. People were there to visit. Yong-Sun had prepared a special visit so they were given entry through the back gate.
There was a unique architecture, of which Ashma kept taking pictures. As usual, Yong-Sun took a few pictures of her which he kept hidden from her.
Next, he took her to the handicrafts workshops. They showed her how several handicrafts were made. She even tried her hand but it was a disaster. One thing she succeeded in was decorating the handicrafts. Being a fashion designer her drawing was good.
Next, they went to the Korean pottery. Yong-Sun had learned this skill when he was a kid. He retained some of it and made a beautiful cup. Ashma on the other hand only got her hand dirty with the clay. No matter how much she tried she only had a lump of clay. She could not stop laughing at her stupid failure.
Then they tried their hands in glass crafts and wood crafts. All the painting and drawing work was easy for her.
There was a beautiful Cera Guitar Cultural centre which was shaped like a giant guitar. Yong-Sun had signed up both of them for a Ukulele class. They both learned "do-re-mi" on the ukulele and the whole day they had a smile on their faces.
At last, he took her to the Yaeji Workshop where she learned how to make crafts using hanji. It was something she was interested in. She wanted to experiment with hanji and fashion clothes out of it. She had heard about a designer who did the same.
The whole day went by and when it became evening, they had no idea. They even forgot to eat and drink. The whole day they spent learning crafts. Ashma didn't want to enjoy with Yong-Sun but she did. She had a blast. They looked at the time and realised that Young-Jae Needed them. It was a miracle that neither In-Ho nor Iseul called them.
They sat in the car and raced towards the Park Mansion.
