Everyone became tense. Ashma thought her secret was about to come out. She never wanted anyone to know that she was in Korea. If someone would find out about her they will dig all the secrets out, her birth, her father, her illegitimacy, everything. And in the age of social media, everything was so easy to go viral. Her life story would be a case of viral news. People will tear her and her family apart. Even her excellent PR team won't be able to help her in such a situation.

Moreover, no one in the Park family wanted that secret to come out. It would create a big scandal in everyone's life. A famous person was somehow related to the Park family. A secret that was hidden for 28 years might come out now. Her career and the reputation of the Park family was about to be destroyed.

"Sorry if I am intruding but I was just curious," said Seong Chung Ho.

"Why?" inquired Ashma.

"Park Young-Jae never calls in the hospital to take care of a patient or ask me to take a case, personally. He only calls if that patient is somehow related to him, like his family or employees, you look like neither," explained Ashma.

It came as a shock to her. "He called you?" shouted Ashma in surprise.

"Shiahbuhji called you?" shouted Eun-Kyung, surprised.

"Harabuhji called you?" asked Yong-Sun, shocked.

"Yeah, last night," informed the doctor cautiously. He couldn't understand why everyone was behaving like that. Did he say something wrong?

Everyone was surprised. The person who hated both the mother and the daughter called the doctor and asked them to take care of his enemies. Were they hearing wrong or did that really happen?

"Strange," said Ashma shocked.

"Yeah, I thought that too," said the doctor.

"She is my friend that's why he called," clarified Eun-Kyung.

"Oh, then you guys take care of her and I will take leave," said the doctor.

"Thank you, doctor," said everyone in unison.

"You are very welcome." The doctor went away.

For a moment there was complete silence. No one spoke, in fact, no one had any idea what to say, how to react to such a piece of news. It was almost unbelievable.

Young-Jae kept fighting with her every time they crossed the path, he was furious with Vidhi. He didn't even want to see their faces, yet he called and asked for the best doctor. What was his motive? He hated them yet he helped them.

"What was that?" asked Vidhi, shocked.

"I don't know," Ashma didn't know how to answer.

"Are you okay?" inquired Eun-Kyung.

"I received the shock of my life, how can I be okay?" shouted Ashma.

"What was that?" asked Vidhi, again.

"Exactly, what was that?" shouted Ashma.

"I know him, he is just strict but has a golden heart," said Eun-Kyung.

"Heart?? Ha-ha, are you dreaming Mumma? He has a heart?" yelled Ashma, surprised. She was unable to come out of the shock.

"That is so cute," whispered Hei-Ran to Eun-Kyung.

"What is?" asked Eun-Kyung.

"She calls you mumma," she said with a sigh indicating fondness.

"Yeah, I asked her to," replied Eun-Kyung. Both friends smiled at each other.

"Mumma!" said Ashma, suddenly.

"Yes," said Eun-Kyung.

"What was that?" yelled Ashma, again.

"Snap out of it, when you reach home ask him yourself," answered Eun-Kyung.

"Good idea."

"So you guys keep discussing, I am getting late, I have a meeting," said Hei-Ran.

"Me too," nodded Yong-Sun.

"Then, we will leave, Vidhi can change her clothes. We will see you in the evening," said Hei-Ran.

"Of course," said Eun-Kyung to Hei-Ran. She then addressed Ashma, "Ashma! Let's step outside so that your mother can change her clothes," said Eun-Kyung.

"Yes sure," said Ashma.

All four came outside together. Hei-Ran hugged Eun-Kyung and began walking away. Yong-Sun pranked Ashma by going for a hug but he pulled at the last minute. She too flinched at his action. He sniggered and left.

"Idiot!" she whispered.

Hei-Ran and Yong-Sun reached their parking spot and sat inside the car.

While Hei-Ran was wearing her seat belt, she said, "you look happy."

"Well, it was happy news. Ms Dewan is alright, harabuhji called a doctor to look after her, looks like everything is going okay with that family," explained Yong-Sun and clicked his seat belt.

"Is that the only reason?" she teased him.

"What else, Uhmma?" he inquired.

"So, it has nothing to do with your crush on her?" she taunted.

"Excuse me!" he was about to start the car but his key fell on the car mat with shock.

"You are not making any move?"

He picked his key with difficulty and answered, "Uhmma, I don't make moves,"

"She is beautiful, by the way."

"Is she? I didn't notice," lied Yong-Sun. She was so beautiful that he wanted to look at her all the time. Her big eyes had strange magic in them. Once he started staring into them it was difficult to break the spell. He put the keys in the ignition.

"Oh, so were you staring at the wall when you had her enclosed within your arms," blurted out Hei-Ran, teasingly. He was about to change the gear. So he placed his foot on the clutch but after hearing her mothers words, he put his foot on the accelerator and the car jerked forward instantly.

"Careful," shouted Hei-Ran.

He applied the break the next instant, stopped his car and took out his key for safety. "Uhmma, you saw that?"

"Yeah, I saw that, you were so busy staring at her, you didn't even notice," teased Hei-Ran.

"Uhmma!" he hid his head in her lap.

"Oh my sweet boy, so do you like her?"

"I liked her when she was my crush," he replied with his head still in her lap.

"So you love her?"

"No, not that, somewhere between like and love," he replied.

"Why the hesitation?" asked Hei-Ran.

"She is a bit rude to everyone," he replied.

"As far as I saw she is kind, polite and sweet," contrasted Hei-Ran.

"You didn't see her yesterday, she was rude to harabuhji, she was rude to keunahppa, she was rude to Baekhyuna and she was rudest to Bong-Cha."

"As Eun-Kyung said, she got the shock of her life, she is allowed to process that her way. If she wants to get angry, let her be."

"But sometimes it appears as if she is at war with harabuhji," he said with concern and lifted his head from her lap.

"Oh, your harabuhji needs to grow up, he needs someone who can teach him a lesson. He needs punishment for what he did. She is doing right, whatever she is doing to him."

"You are on her side?" asked Yong-Sun, shocked.

"I am on Eun-Kyung's side and I know she is on Ashma's side. Eun-Kyung is an excellent judge of character, if she loves Ashma that means she is worth loving," said Hei-Ran and touched her son's cheeks with love.

He placed his hand over hers and said adoringly, "you and your friendship."

"I know, better than yours," she teased.

"That's true," he said seriously.

"Ha-ha," laughed Hei-Ran and Yong-Sun together.

After all the formalities, it was time for Vidhi to get discharged. They collected all her belongings, her medicines and went to the car. They reached home where Pyo In-Ho was giving instructions to all the servants about cleaning the house and other household chores. Everyone was either at work or college.

Iseul ran and brought them all a glass of water. After having water and sitting for a few minutes in the living room Vidhi went to her room for rest. Ashma spent all her time with Eun-Kyung.

The morning changed into the afternoon, the noon changed into the evening. It was the time when everyone started coming back. First, to arrive was Bong-Cha. She inquired about Vidhi and went upstairs directly to meet with her.

As soon as Vidhi knew that people have started coming, she came to the living room to meet her. One by one everyone started coming and asked her how she was doing. She kept repeating the phrase that she was doing fine. Young-Soo arrived and smiled at Vidhi. Her heart fluttered with his smile. She was seeing the love of her life after 28 years. She kept smiling back.

"You are not going to faint again, are you?" he teased.

"No, I won't," she replied. Then she thought to herself, "if I faint again, how will I be able to see your sweet face. I already wasted one day, I am not wasting any more."

Everyone arrived, the Seo family, the Man family, everyone. Only Young-Jae was remaining. Ashma was eagerly waiting for him. At last, he arrived. Eun-Kyung ordered Pyo In-Ho to bring the evening tea. But he didn't stop in the living room, he climbed the stairs and went up to his room. Everyone was shocked. This was for the first time in his life that he broke his schedule. He didn't ask for his evening tea.

Ashma closed her eyes, exhaled and announced, "I will be back in a minute. I need to talk to him."

"Are you sure?" inquired Eun-Kyung.

"I have to ask him, Mumma," said Ashma.

"Fine, go."

She went upstairs and knocked at his door.

"May I come in?" Ashma asked for his permission.

"No," he shouted.

Ashma rolled her eyes and barged in anyhow. Young-Jae opened her tie and flung it on the bed.

"I needed to ask you something," Ashma started the conversation.

"I am not here to give you answers and get out of my room."

"Why did you do it?" asked Ashma with all the gratitude and gratefulness in her voice.

"Do what?"

"Call the doctor about my mother?" she asked.

"I didn't do it for you," he removed his jacket and threw it on the floor with anger. "I did so that you will leave fast."

"I knew it, I knew you would have an ulterior motive because you are not that nice," said Ashma with attitude.

"Excuse me!" he screamed.

Whatever your motive was, thank you from the bottom of my heart," said Ashma.
