"Let's go, ladies, she needs rest," said Hae-Won after finishing taking care of Ashma. She put all the things back in the first-aid box and closed it.
"Lie down on the bed and don't you dare move," said Eun-Kyung and helped Ashma to sit on the bed. She put the blanket over Ashma's legs.
"Yes, Mumma," said Ashma in a sad tone. She was still feeling guilty.
Vidhi didn't like the closeness of Ashma and Eun-Kyung. She immediately moved to Ashma's bedside and sat next to her. "Are you okay?" Vidhi asked.
"Yes, mom, sorry I shouted at you again," Ashma expressed regret. This put Vidhi's mind at ease. Not only Eun-Kyung but Vidhi was also important to her. Not only she talked sweetly with Eun-Kyung but also with her. The jealousy that Vidhi was feeling, subsided now. She started smiling.
"It's okay, you were about to suffer a great loss. It was about your fashion show," defended Vidhi.
"That doesn't justify my behaviour, you taught me better," said Ashma, ashamed at her behaviour.
"Oh my sweet, Ashu," said Vidhi and side-hugged her. Both ladies were overwhelmed with joy after seeing the love of mother and daughter.
"Okay, let her rest," said Hae-Won.
They left Ashma alone. She closed her eyes and inhaled and exhaled to calm herself down. Her anger issue was becoming a monster. She never used to show her anger in front of elders but now she had no issue doing so. She was becoming rude and arrogant. She even broke a personal belonging in anger. She broke a personal phone with her hands.
She looked at her hands. The glass of the phone gave her minute cuts. Some were not even visible they just were tingling. She removed the blanket and saw her wound. Hae-Won did an amazing job with the bandage. It was uncomfortable sitting in a suit so she get off her bed, moved towards closed and took out a t-shirt and comfy pyjamas.
She put on loose pyjamas, rolled the fabric of one leg above her knees to avoid contact with the bandage and pondered over her anger problems. She couldn't believe that she was having anger issues. She used to lose her cool in the office but would calm down soon but now it felt like she was always angry. It seemed her mind only processed two emotions, crying and anger. She knew if she wanted to control her anger issue she needed to go back to her peaceful environment i.e. her country, her work, her office, her home, her family.
She looked at the door, it was closed. She immediately grabbed her phone and called Priyanka.
Priyanka instantly picked up the call and said, "Chief!"
"Problem is solved," said Ashma.
"You got the dress?" asked Priyanka, excited.
"Yes, and I fired Rishabh," informed Ashma.
"Finally!"
"Wow! You didn't even try to hide your emotions," said Ashma.
"He was an asshole. I don't understand why you didn't fire him sooner."
"He used to give good ideas occasionally. And also he is related to one of our family friends," enlightened Ashma.
"Live long nepotism."
"You can say that a thousand times."
"So, what next?" asked Priyanka.
"First, clear his dues and throw him out as soon as possible. Second, do me a favour and order the most expensive, latest phone and opt for the same-day delivery in Korea. I will message you the address," said Ashma.
"Phone?" inquired Priyanka.
"Yes phone, please don't ask why," pleaded Ashma.
"You broke yours in anger?" pointed out Priyanka.
"Something like that," said Ashma.
"What about the dress?"
"I am coming back and bringing the dress with me."
"I know you won't answer but why did you go to Korea?" questioned Priyanka.
"If you know my answer, why ask?"
"Maybe you would have replied," clarified Priyanka.
"Well, my mother had an important meeting and I could not let her go to a foreign country on her own, could I?" said Ashma.
"Thank god, you were in Korea."
"Yeah. So I am looking for flights. Meanwhile, please order a phone," requested Ashma.
"Send me the address."
"Sending, and do kick him out of Samvlta," said Ashma.
"With pleasure," said Priyanka and they disconnected the call. Ashma looked into her phone for the address that Bong-Cha sent her and she forwarded that address to Priyanka.
She looked for her flights and booked a ticket. She knew when she will announce of her return, many hearts will break. Also, she was not at all feeling good about leaving her mother alone. But she knew she would return as soon as her show gets over. She started packing and kept thinking about how to tell other people about her decision to leave Korea and return to India.
She finished packing and was standing near the closet when there was a knock at the door. Young-Jae entered. Ashma was surprised but true to his nature he asked her to leave. She was all packed, her ticket was ready too but Young-Jae came and changed her plan completely. She fully cancelled all her plans. Just to see him suffer she decided that she will stay because he wanted her to leave. Everything happened because of the vow she took that she will never let him be happy.
After a small repartee, Young-Jae left. Ashma was looking at the door from which Young-Jae exited a second ago. She again won. But she was furious at herself. Just to see him lose she sacrificed her peace of mind. If she would stay in Korea, her anger issue will remain. She had to remove herself from the trigger that was her new family. A single word from their mouth triggered her. She used to lose her cool instantly.
She hated shouting at elders, scolding her juniors, talking rudely to everyone. Her only enemy was Young-Jae and no one else. She had to now control her emotions and be calm in every situation.
She exhaled loudly and again began to unpack. Instead of calling Priyanka, she decided to drop her an email saying that she will not be coming back. She was writing the e-mail when she decided to give her a call ultimately as it was tough typing with injured hands.
The phone rang and Priyanka picked up. Ashma started the conversation, "Priyanka!"
"Yes, chief."
"Um… I am sorry but I would be able to come so soon. I will courier you the dress and will be back before the fashion show," explained Ashma.
"No worries, take your time. You already did every work before going, I just have to make sure everything runs smoothly. Sorry for one mistake," apologised Priyanka.
"It was not your mistake," said Ashma.
"You put me in charge and I failed." Her voice was ridden with guilt.
"Hey! Don't say that. You are the best," assured Ashma. "Moreover, it was Rishabh's mistake and not yours. Understood?"
"Understood. Also, I have ordered the phone. It will reach you by evening," stated Priyanka.
"Thank you, Priyanka. I appreciate it."
She disconnected the call and cancelled her tickets. She then spent some time looking for a courier service to send the dress carefully.
All her work was done. She lay on the bed and fell asleep. She was already tired from the previous night as she didn't sleep well. She slept well for hours. Vidhi and Eun-Kyung came to look at her one by one and found her sleeping peacefully. Both women kissed her forehead and let her sleep.
It was the time for Bong-Cha to come back. She looked tired when she came back home. She threw her bag on the couch and sat on the couch with a thud.
"Are you okay?" asked Eun-Kyung.
"I am fine, just tired," she said in a drowsy tone. Suddenly she remembered Ashma. She showered question after question on Eun-Kyung, "What about Ashma? Is she fine? What happened in the morning? Where did she go? Did she come back? Where is she?"
"Woah! Woah! Calm down. Take a deep breath, first go wash yourself, eat something and then we will talk."
"I will be back in a jiffy," said Bong-Cha and ran upstairs with her bag.
