Chapter 13: Chapter 013 (short)

After looking closely at some of the curses, I was surprised.  Almost all of them were simply strange, for example, jumping 10 times every day.  Some were a little scary, like turning into a wolf on a full moon.  Some were sexual, such as constant arousal or the inability to do so.  I immediately ruled out these two.  There were some others, of course, but they were not as severe as these.  There were also "hungry curses. They were a little scary, but nothing special.

 The third curse that I blocked is forgetting my name and loved ones.  I already have a problem with it, so I'm afraid of what will happen if I get it.  So no thanks.

 After I banned some curses, I wasn't ready to spin the roulette wheel.  Who would be ready??  It's a curse.  Only someone completely insane would put a curse on himself.

 No matter how much I was ready, Zuggera was having so much fun.  She even barely restrained herself from laughing while looking at my face.

 Staggering and holding her stomach, she came up to me and patted me on the shoulder with her free hand.  And then with her other hand, she suddenly pulled the lever that set the wheel in motion.

  I turned pale.  My skin could be compared to a white sheet.  And it is not known what is whiter.

 After a few exhausting seconds, the wheel began to stop.  As it stopped, the arrow passed the hat removal curse that forced me to remove my hat every time I said hello.  The arrow slowed down and was about to settle on one of two options: the first is the constant loss of hats and the second is the hunger for stationery when I hold them.  The second curse was supposed to make me bite pens, rulers, pencils, erasers, and so on.  First, I think it is clear from the name.  When the wheel finished spinning, the arrow pointed exactly in the middle.  Zuggera opened her mouth and was about to say something when suddenly the wheel tilted back a little.

 Zuggera closed her mouth and frowned as she thought about something.  A second after she started thinking, she stopped and smiled her scary smile at me.

 - Congratulations, you can now say goodbye to all your hats.

 That's right, the curse I got is the-all-the-time-losing-hats-curse.  It will be cold in winter.

 Before I could recover, Zuggera said:

 - Push the lever, Cronk!

 I reached out and gave a sharp pull.
