"I will destroy you…. I'm done playing.", Kaede mumbled, never as she suffered such injuries in this life and never as she suffered that much physical pain in general. Broken arms, legs, and the like were not very painful compared to the degree her body was burned at the moment.
One of her vectors grabbed her broken arm and she forced the bone fragment back into place making a hole for any excess blood and mending the bone together right after. Then put it back into place with a sickening crunch.
Floating with the vibration of her vectors she slowly moved toward Itsuki Marude. Bullets immediately started to rain down on her, none ever attaining their desired target.
Slowly gliding down to the ground she smiled, bullet by bullet stopped in mid-air all caught by her vectors then each new one was propelled right in the opposite direction. Killing hundreds in a mere second.
In the commanding van, a man said with a shaky voice, "Is this thing even a ghoul?"
"We are in immediate need of reinforcement, retreat is not an option! Kamaitachi the Class S- changed to S+ threat, likely higher! Hundreds of our men and women already died at our location by her! Every nearby able-bodied agent still capable of fighting is immediately called here!", Itsuki, the Commander yelled into his mic, eyes hardening and heart beating faster than it ever was.
Koutarou Amon hearing this looked away from the white-haired ghoul and clenched the handle of his quinque so hard that it whitened his knuckle. With eyes filled with untold fury and grief he ran to the given coordinate, he wasn't alone in coming to this coordinate. But only with such raging and intense emotion.
"Do I rescue her?", Tatara in the far distance asked Eto who shook her head from side to side.
"No, Tatara-san it's all good, she will be fine... But I didn't know she could do this… with her vectors and that they looked like this… Fascinating. What does the future reserve for ghouls and humans with someone like her? She has so much potential…", the half-ghoul answered and she looked with great attention as each of the six feminine hands shredded, cut, smashed, tossed, and killed in abandon.
Kaede continued and started to take more and more speed as she slowly got used to the pain, her limp progressively disappearing as adrenalin and endorphin filled her body.
She lifted her hand a snowflake on her finger, her glowing crimson red eye studying it, she crushed it. Fragile just like those humans. Then she started to hum a melody.
She stopped someone was specifically calling for her, a voice of a man she remembered smirking she continued her walk. Snow tainted red as it fell on the warm corpses, melting in contact.
She was 20 meters away from the commending van. A swat of her vectors cut everyone in front of her in half, guts spilled everywhere on the ground and she walked right over them.
Itsuki put himself in position and aimed his RC-round piercer at the diclonius, reloaded and ready to fire he pressed on the trigger Kaede's eyes remained calm, she continued to hum.
Catching the missile in a vector she stared into the man's eyes who's widened in horror as she threw it forty meters behind the van ending its course on a CCG truck full of wounded. Itsuki felt his legs grow weak, despair truly setting in.
"What have we done to deserve this?"
*BOOOOOOOOMMM!!!*
The truck exploded and that causes a chain reaction with all the vehicles nearby shockwave killed some and deafened everyone but her, she could only applaud the man, her mood slightly alleviating, this man was going to die but first… The pesky vengeful man behind.
She caught from behind her a massive black and red blade with two vectors. Recognizing the twisted visage of grief and anger of the man she killed she didn't even bother to taunt him or play.

Faster than Koutarou Amon's brain could process, a vector cut his quinque in half, then the finger holding it, then the hand, the arm, and the shoulder. His black eyes saw the scene unfold but that was all they could get as his head was then cleanly cut in half from the chin to the top of the skull.
Half of his face fell to the ground, followed by his body. Like that a promising and talented investigator died. If only he wasn't so emotional and was more careful.
Jumping with her vector she arrived in front of Itsuki, face down, eyes hollow. Cutting his hand holding the gun he fired out in agony but didn't move beyond that. His spirit was broken.
Dismantling the gun she grabbed the man by the neck with a vector, the two other men inside begging for her to spare them. A wave of a vector and half of their heads from the noses and up slid down. Both dead.
Ignoring the voice of an old man shouting at her she took the mic and spoke her voice icy cold and emotionless.
"Good night humans, I'm the one to blame for the massacre, the CCG has failed, and you have failed, each individually."
Her full attention shifted back to the squirming Itsuki, a tilt of her head and methodical cuts following certain patterns were made all over his ski, ignoring the presence of clothing.
She learned how to skin humans, and she was very proficient at it.
Of course, Itsuki cried in agony and begged to finish him off we're heard, she didn't cut the mic, it was louder and more visceral at the step where she peeled off the skin in one go like someone would a banana and threw him on the ground outside, his bare spasming muscles against the blood, and dust, gravels, and snow
Bloodshot eyes without any eyelids starting at the ground. Mind in a loop on the last hour, torturing himself, over and over again to insanity.
Shredding the skin and clothes to pieces, she cut his diaphragm showing a part of his ribs, and then crushed his pancreas and one of his kidneys for shit and giggle. He didn't die from that skinning as she was that good.
So skinning only could mean he might potentially survive, extremely low but chances were there, and now he will die with certainty. Always tipple tap, if not more.
A slow agonizing death where he will be powerless and feel the life leave his body.
She strolled down the battlefield and stopped herself from falling, blood leaking from her nose. Knee buckling she caught herself up. Coughing a bit of blood, her head spinning she started to feel dizzy.
'I need to go… and fast.', with that she put all of her efforts into her vectors, ignoring the incoming headache she peoples herself through the air, moving past the desolated ward.
Only stopping when she was in a park, trees serving as coverage. Putting her back against the trunk of one she let herself fall. Hugging her knees, she stared into the starless night sky.
Trying to ignore the burn wounds all over her body. She might have overdone it, not that she regrets anything. It was liberating and fucking painful. But was it worth it? Of fucking course it was!
"Kaede! Kaede is that you!?", her head turned in the direction of the familiar voice and her eyes landed on a brown-haired eleven years old girl with a hairband wearing a brown running in.
Hinami felt her heart sink as she saw the usually strong and arrogant girl's exhausted red eye through the helmet gaze at her, her body covered in an ungodly amount of wounds, breathing irregularly and on the brink of falling unconscious.
"What happened to you!? Are you alright?", her voice was lashed with untold worry, a tear threatening to fall.
"Yes… Nothing one or two good nights of sleep won't and Hinami, could you take off my helmet? Barely can breathe inside…", she said and laughed slightly before coughing.
Tanking an explosion of this power point-blank hurt a bit, the worse part was the heat waves. Yay, she hated explosions particularly when they are used against her.
