[Third Person POV]

"Wha-whaAAAHH!", cried out Kaneki with dilated pupils, his kakugan activating itself, as he fell on his ass, making a splash sound, as he crawled away backward, trying to get as far away from the First Class Agent's head as possible.

"Shut your trap.", Kaede said with an annoyed tone, she was going to leave soon. His reactions were pretty funny though.

"Go help her, in case you didn't see she had her neck nearly cut off.", she gestured behind her with her right thumb and made a mimic with her left-hand fingers showing the size and depth of the cut.

The bags were held by her vectors while she did so. Their general shape showed by the droplet of rain.

Her vectors could go from tangible to intangible at will, she could make them vibrate to different degrees, this is how she is capable of cutting pretty much anything.

She could also make them thinner than a hair or two times larger than her body, the shape was always of a hand but everything else was adjustable to her need.

Kaede then ignored the young adult.

'Wait. That's why he seemed familiar with the 'main character', Keneki something. This guy is half-ghoul if I remember correctly. He surely looks different in real life than in the anime, so at the moment pathetic.', she thought as one of her vectors picked up the quinque from Kureo's corpse iron grip by breaking the finger's bones.

She walked closer to Hinami, and crouched down in front of the other girl. The ghoul looked up and stared into the ruby red eyes of the masked girl.

Again, she could smell the strange but pleasant scent of Kaede, her Mother's life was not threatened anymore.

"It's yours.", she heard the muffled and cold voice of the masked girl and then finally looked down at the blue bag that seemed to levitate in front of her.

"Huh.", Hinami said dumbly, she recognized the bag, it was the one she lost in her panic. She took the bag from Kaede's vector.

The ghoul had goosebumps as she touched the vector before taking the bag.

"Hmmm, I suggest you run and run fast. Ya know the doves and all.", the diclonius said, making Hinami's face pale at the realization.

"Anyway, bye!", and with those words, Kaede climbed up the walls with her vectors, with Kureo's quinque in her hands. It was a bit heavy for her arms, she might be physically stronger than the average little girl but that wasn't that impressive either.

"Thank you…", at the same time, Hinami closed her eyes, and said, only to see as she opened them that the masked girl was not there anymore.

She was feeling bad that she couldn't thanks her mother's savior. She felt a hand on her cheek, it was her mother's hand, she looked down and saw her mother peacefully sleeping with a small smile on her lips.

She smiled and then looked behind her and stared in horror at the decapitated body of Kureo, she wasn't horrified by the human death but the sight of the corpse itself was, it was her first time seeing one.

And she now noticed the exciting smell of blood coming from the corpse that made her stomach growl. She shook her head.

"Right run, we need to run.", she mumbled to herself almost robotically. Kaneki's panic attack on the other side finally ceased.

"Oniichan! Help me carry Okaachan! We need to move!", she listened to Kaede's advice.

One hour later in Anteiku

Kaneki was seated on a chair in the back of Antique. He was mindlessly playing with the spoon in his coffee. Hinami and Ryouko were sleeping, both exhausted by the event of the day.

Kirishima Touka, a blue-haired ghoul, one of the Anteiku slammed her fist on the table in front of Kaneki. Making the half-ghoul flinch and the table shake, nearly spilling out the human-flavored coffee.

Of course, the mystery ingredients in those 'brown sugar' cubes were humans. Not that Kaneki knew.

"What the hell happened today!?", she demanded, glaring into Kaneki's right eye. The latter looked down but didn't answer.

"Answer!", Tooka demanded again, this time noticeably angrier. She was incredibly worried about the daughter-mother duo, she saw how exhausted they were and didn't ask them for those same reasons.

"Ha! Yes! If I remember correctly Ryouko-chan was going to be killed by CCG's agent, I was observing the scene with Hinami… Then a girl wearing a dog mask on her head appeared from above…

I don't know what type of ghoul she is but her kagune was invisible… She killed the one who harmed Ryouko-chan and, and she killed him. Cutting his head with this same kagune. She saved Ryouko…", the more he spoke the more he realized how his earlier reaction to stop the death of the human was beyond stupid.

He was feeling incredibly conflicted. He didn't know what was wrong or right.

"Invisible kagune…", Tooka mumbled, remembering one of the new rumors about a ghoul with something like this. She will look into it later.

"That's good. At least I can kill you myself.", she joked before walking away, it was the time for her shift.

Back to where Mato Kureo was liberated from his mortal shell. It stopped raining ten minutes ago.

Dozens of CCG's agents of nearly all ranks were present, and policemen were also there but only to keep people away.

Koutarou Amon, a tall muscular man with black hair and black eyes, in his late twenties, was gazing at two black bags inside the truck, it was two cadaver pouches, one with Kureo's head and the other with the body.

He was crying, he couldn't do anything when it mattered, he called for reinforcement but it was useless in the end. Why didn't he stay and die instead?

He could hear the sound of someone running, approaching his location but he didn't pay attention to it.

Amon was shoved aside by a blond woman, it was Mato Akira, the daughter of Kureo. She ran and desperately hugged the cadaver bag. It only added to his feeling of self-hate.

He felt a hand grab his shoulder and he looked behind to see his academy instructor Shinohara Yukinori, "It's part of the job. I know how it feels. It never gets away, that is why you must live on with it."

With this event, Kaede passed from A to S. Kuro's was not found.

The next day Kaede woke up with an unpleasant sensation near her navel region.

The diclonius was puzzled for about three seconds before a downing possibly occurred in her mind. And she couldn't get it out.

She bit her lower lip and looked down at her body and bed and muttered when she saw a very small stain of dried brownish blood, "Periods...fuck no."

She almost forgot about puberty. Or more like she didn't want to talk about it.
