Looking up Zhloe nods "Partially because of her nightmares yes, she often has them tiring her out. She used to spend a night a week in a custom acclimatization chamber so she'd get enough rest. But now that she's with Felix it's luckily no longer needed."

"Partially?"

She nods "Happy has quite a past, but has requested everyone she has told it to not to share."

Faintly smiling I lean back "Maybe she'll tell me herself one day. But I guess I'm lucky to not have them then."

Khloe in turn smiles "You have enough challenges on your own"

Looking at my hand which I change into a claw I sigh softly and moan "Guess you could say that yeah"

Standing up Khloe gently places her hand on my head "Shall we?"

Nodding I hop on my feet "Just gonna change my clothes first."

Quickly I let my paws fade and run into the bedroom, there I open the closet and quickly grab the black orange-striped tracksuit I ordered. Yet after I take off my pants and want to put it on Khloe walks inside. "Don't mind me, just have to use the bathroom."

Taken aback I barely manage to nod and sigh deeply once she closes the door.

[Ehhr… why did that startle me so?]

Shrugging I quickly take off my shirt, put on a sports bra and black tank-top before putting on the tracksuit. "There."

Walking to the dresser I grab a hair tie "Hmm rather small…"

While trying to put my hair into a single tail the hair tie is protesting quite a bit and eventually snaps. "Dammit."

Leaving the bathroom Khloe frowns "Heard you curse, what's wrong?"

Holding up the hair tie I sigh "Tried to put my hair into a tail but the tie snapped."

Squealing she smiles "I got a solution for that, may I?"

Slowly nodding I sit down on the chair. "Go ahead, as long as it doesn't get in the way while fighting."

With an ecstatic nod she combs my hair and grabs a small roll out of the drawer of the dresser. A moment later she lets go "There tied together with a ribbon."

Looking into the mirror I smile "Thanks!"

[Hmm, it's getting rather long, even in this high tail it almost reaches my hips]

Turning around I give her a quick hug before running off "To Felix!"

Giggling she nods "Let's go!"

Running through the living room Zhloe laughs "Calm down already"

Shaking my head I giggle and continue towards the main hall where once I enter Felix chuckles "Wow talk about being black"

Looking down I giggle as I'm dressed in completely black clothes. "There is some orange!"

Holding up my arm showing the five orange stripes makes him laugh while Happy smiles before yawning "Also looks nice with your blue eyes."

Embarrassed by the compliment I feel my cheeks warming before I point to a wooden pole covered with what I assume is straw standing in the middle of the room "That mine?"

Felix nods and chuckles when I immediately raise my hand. Once the cold steel grip takes shape within my hand a pleasant shiver runs down my spine. Immediately I feel the tingle in my abdomen spread and as I accept it my hands and feet change into claws.

Felix and Happy both seem startled while Happy gasps as well "Your eyes!"

Intrigued I turn my head "Hmm?"

Happy ravages around in her purse before grabbing a foldable hand mirror which she hands to Felix "Show her!"

Felix grabs it and holds it up before me showing my eyes have turned a deep golden yellow. "Whoa…"

[So this is what she meant.]

Lowering my sword I feel my face "Strange it doesn't feel different for me at all."

He chuckles "Then let's move on shall we?"

With a stout nod I grip my sword with both hands and hold it up diagonally with the tip pointing downwards making him smirk "You even hold it like a Dark Knight."

Smiling I confidently take a swing and slam the blade into the dummy. Where I prepared for a heavy recoil my body instinctively moves to mitigate it and it feels surprisingly natural.

"ooh!"

Gripping it tighter I rapidly slam it it against the dummy in quick succession only to stop when I hear a gasp "Leone… how can you swing it around like that?"

Lowering the weapon I hold it with a single hand and give Zhloe a questioning look "What do you mean?"

She falls silent and stares at me "Your eyes… they're yellow?!"

Placidly I shrug "Leone had told me they had changed, but I forgot about it as they were still blue, but they changed when I accepted the instincts."

Walking towards me she smiles and grabs my cheeks to take a better look "Hmm they're more gold than yellow... They look awesome!"

Blushing slightly I lower my gaze for a moment before looking back up "So what did you mean?"

Holding her hands the same way as I held the sword she turns her head and moves her hands upright "Wouldn't it be easier to use the sword upright instead of pointed downwards?"

Uncertain I shrug once more "This immediately felt comfortable and it doesn't feel like it's limiting my range."

Felix nods "There are medieval swords styles that wield it like that, from what I can imagine it's a bit harder to strike offensively but much easier to balance and parry."

With a nod I look back at the pole. Striking rapidly and repeatedly I quickly feel a strength building from within causing the strikes to speed up and hit harder. Suddenly a loud crack sounds as my blade collides and the straw tears apart leaving the dummy in two pieces.

Giggling I lower my sword "oops"

Unable to contain his surprise Felix bursts into laughter while the others seem perplexed. "Well compressed composite wood snaps like a twig, but I don't think you'd need more practice on strength anyway."

Suddenly Khloe looks as if she's seen a ghost. "Compressed composite wood? Isn't that made of natural hardwood layered with carbon fiber and compressed to make it tougher than most types of metal?"

He nods "That is exactly what just snapped under her barrage."

Zhloe holds her chin "How to train a God on earth… hmm…"

Self conscious I let the sword fade and smile awkwardly "I guess that's what it'd come down to"

Khloe giggles and smiles "Why not try to train in your hu- normal form?"

Deep in thought I gaze at my nails "Hmm do we have another dummy like this?"

Felix nods "We got a couple, how so?"

Awkwardly smiling I hold up my claw "Maintenance"

He shakes his head "Better not, if they break you'd be nailed"

Happy softly slaps the back of his head while chuckling "Bad pun, however I do agree, best to try other methods first."

With a sigh I gaze at my claw "Challenges I never thought I'd have"

"We'll find a way dear."

With a listless nod I gaze into the distance "Yeah I know, it's just so odd"

Khloe walks towards me with a smile and hugs me tight "Why not try hand to hand combat in this form? The punching bag might not survive your nails, but I think it'll survive a punch or two."

Zhloe nods "It survives Felix for a week to a month it can take a hit, go for it"

Skeptical I walk to the punching bag yet throw all my frustration in a single blow, the bag swings away but just as easily swings back. I keep punching it and quickly feel myself calming down, everything turns into a yellowish blur but I can see and hear everything happening around me.

"Leone?"

"Hmm?"

Felix laughs "Damn girl that's some instinct"

Smiling I simply continue

"How does it feel?"

When I reply with an excited giggle he begins to laugh "That says enough"

Continuing my barrage of punches I notice him walking away, yet for some reason I feel emboldened and put even more force behind my punches truly giving it my all.

Moments later I hear something creaking yet being in trance I don't really register where it's coming from and just keep going at it. It isn't until I see the bag swinging away further than it should that I notice something is wrong. With a loud snap I hear the ceiling collapse. Instantly turning around I see Felix leaping to the side pushing away Zhloe and Happy.

Realizing Khloe hasn't registered what happened I leap her way, tightly grab her within my arms while I land on my back and we slide over the gym floor. With a loud crash part of the ceiling hits the floor causing a cloud of dust to sweep trough the room.

Once it settles I slowly let go of Khloe who lies on top of me. As she gets up, her eyes glimmer with a strange glint while she intensely stares towards me.
Slowly she begins to lean forward and presses her lips against mine causing my eyes to widen and my brain to short circuit.
