Theodore Vile Rosemore. Patriarch and head of the Rosemore household, silently stood tall in front of a window with his hands positioned behind his back. There was a deep frown on his face and as each day past it seemed to grow bigger. There was too much going on at present inside his home and outside his home and it all stemmed for one person in particular. When news of his youngest son going missing had reached him, he at that very moment was raiding the Abandon Northern Lands. A place located in the middle on the ends of both the Rava and Bursh continent.

His reaction at such news was nothing. There was no need to act. That useless son of his was never in his eyes in the first place, there was nothing to deal with. That was until the unexpected situation of his son was suddenly leaked and news was spread far across the kingdom. He who was way across the continent had decided to come home. As it was reported that no one could find his son no matter how much they tried.

'What a bother.' He thought lazily. His cold golden eyes gazing through the window onto the front lawn. Rumors that the Rosemore family was incompetent at finding their own family member was spreading wildly. Such rumors by the kings citizens was a given, as they were nothing but branches that swung where the wind blew. But when his rivals and enemies began questioning the Rosemore's capabilities. That was when he himself had to come in and solve the problem.

Otherwise why else would he be here?

He arrived yesterday and not too long after this morning there was news of his son's location. Someone had glimpsed him entering the Forbidden Forest Of The Unknown.

'Well what do you know.' His lips formed an condescending thin smile. 'Not only is he useless but he's also suicidal.'

It would be a miracle and a blessing by the gods if his son was still alive up till now.

"Father…" A male with crimson colored hair and sunset amber eyes called stiffly. An annoyed expression etched his handsome face.

"Mmn.." His father responded.

Exhaling deeply, the younger took a step forward "Word from the last search team has come in…". He hesitated trying to find the right words so he wouldn't anger his father. The news he brought might just worsen his father's already bad mood.

The lord of the house turned to look at his second son Damon Rosemore, whose expression didn't look too good. His eyes were filled with anger by the constant unending pile of negative results from his squad. Three damn weeks had already passed since his little brothers disappearance.

Yet no news was found. Nothing of the others where abouts. 'Just where did the little rat go?'

Why was he inconveniencing everyone else's lives just because he decided to one day get up and leave out of the blue. If he wanted to die the least he could've done was told someone his location so they could come and pick up the body at least.

But no.

Raven had him very much so looking for a needle in a haystack.

Damon stared at his father nervously. "Once again for the fifth time this week. The search was unsuccessful." His heart thumping harshly against his chest he waited patiently for a response. Looking down at his feet he braced himself for an explosion of anger. But to his surprise nothing happened.

A second past, then an whole minute past but his father said nothing.

'Did father not hear me?'

He slowly looked up to see his father calmly staring at him. "Father.... the search team failed."

"It is to be expected. That's why this time, you will lead the search party instead." Theodore's voice was firm and resolute. Giving no room for objections.

'What?!!'

Damon tried to control his contorting facial expression as he looked at the head. "Me?"

Theodore didn't repeat himself and continued. "This morning I received word from one of my men that your brother was spotted going into the Forbidden Forest Of Unknown."

"If he went in there then he's good as dead." If that's the case then there was no longer a need to keep searching for the other. Who in the family did not know that Raven only possessed one mana circle and was barely a level 1 swordsman. He wouldn't be able to survive in that place for a one single night. "We should call it quits father."

Theodore ignored his son's words and continued giving out his orders. "You will lead the search in the forest and find your brother. With his current level he didn't too get far. Even if he's dead, for the family, bring back his corpse. Do you understand?"

Seeing his father's cold emotionless eyes he swallowed the words he wanted to say and answered. "Yes...."

Theodore gave his son a quick once over before turning around to glance back out the window. "I trust, you'll find your younger brother. And bring him back home dead or alive, right?"

With eyes of determination Damon firmly nodded toward his father. He will go to the forbidden forest and find his brother no matter how long it took. "Leave it to me. I will surely bring him back."

With these last words he turned around and left, daring to not look back.

He couldn't go against his father's orders but couldn't his father had asked the other's. Like Karla the second born or even the eldest. Then again, now that he thought about it. Such thing was stupid to ask of those two. The strongest's of the siblings to waist their time in searching for a little dead beat rascal. Even if it was their own little brother would be asking to much of their precious time.

'What a bother .'

Walking through the halls of the mansion Damon had unknowingly thought the same thing as his father. He clicked his tongue in regret. He didn't want to go but he had too as an order was an order. No matter how stupid it was or how unwilling one was, if you were apart of the Rosemore household you had to comply.

There was no such thing as rejecting an order from the Patriarch.

He'd go and try his best to make the trip quick.
