Located at the bottom of a 10 feet lake was a raven haired youth, who sat quietly in a meditating position. Slowly he circulated his mana through his body and began to compress it. Building and shaping an aura to surround the surface of his skin. Continuing this cycle he felt the mana in his heart begin to grow and rotate into a whirl pool. Sucking in heavy amounts of mana his body began to light up brightly a sign of another break through.

Calmly he breathed through his nose, inhaling and exhaling, blowing bubbles into the water. As usual through this process his chest started to heat up. His feathered silk eyebrows frowned as he focused on guiding and digesting the large amounts of mana within him. This process was tricky as one wrong move could cause backlash in his cultivation or worse, once again explode his heart.

So he had to be careful.

Very careful.

Following the words of his beast, he evenly proportioned the excess mana into his four limbs. As he had come to find out by Lucienne that he infect was born with one of the 7 magical bodies.

Body structures said to be gifted by a God.

The body of Magus. Was the body of magic.

All Variants had body structures that could with stand magic but they could only store it in their hearts. Taking in minimal amounts of mana at a time.

Raven's mana hole on the other hand, was thrice as big, able to take in immense amounts of mana. While not only just being able to store mana in his heart, but all throughout his body in any area he so wished.

He was if compared to, was like a walking mana crystal.

The reason why Raven in the past didn't have an so called 'innate talent' for swordsmanship, was simply because he didn't know how to nature his gifted body. And no one would dare try to help.

Which was something Raven had predicted way before he searched through all of his new memories.

In the house hold of the Rosemore's. It was every man for themselves. Though their would be help at times to nourish those born with talent.

Those who weren't were simply lost causes.

And as usual just like his life back on earth, in this world too, his family were in a battle for power.

A battle for Patriarch. A title his present father now owned.

His father....

As far as he knew, in his memories his father out of all of his 6 children. Disregarded him the most.

For Raven this was nothing new. It was like living the same life with just a different face. How ironic.

Yet it was nothing he couldn't handle.

Inhaling then exhaling through his nose for the last time, his fifth ring had finally formed.

He was now a level 5 Swordman.

*Splash*

Bursting out from up under the water, Raven had a big smile on his face. "I did it. After three long weeks of practicing I now have 5 rings!"

Forming his fourth circle only took him eight days to form but who would of thought that it would take almost twice as much for the fifth ring to form.

Pushing his wet hair out of the way, he lifted himself out of the lake. Dripping with water his long hair clung to his skin covering his important parts as he freely stood in middle of the forest. Grabbing his bag he quickly put back on his gown. Before looking at Lucienne expectantly.

Lucienne lightly glanced at the younger's eyes that shined brightly, waiting for praise.

'How childish.' Lucienne thought before pushing a basket of berries with his paw toward the other. "Eat."

Like popping a balloon Raven's mood dropped and his rosy lips formed into a pout. He looked like a kitten that was kicked as he knelt down grabbing a berry from the basket and started eating.

Lucienne watched silently from the sidelines an unusual word crossing his thoughts. 'Cute.'

It was a word he had never used in his whole entire life to describe anyone or anything. Less known a human. But he had used it to describe Raven.

"Congratulations on forming your fifth ring." Said Lucienne. To him who lived for many millenniums, such feat was nothing in his eyes. But the human had put meaning to it. So he'll indulge him.

Raven nodded with a smile. "Thank you." His happy mood was back and as if a light bulb turn on, a question crossed his mind. "I've been meaning to ask you this for a long time now." Continuing to eat his berries one by one he asked. "Do all animals talk?"

"No. But there are special cases."

"Like yours."

"Just like me." Lucienne stared far off into the distance. "Their are rare magical beasts who have a consciousness stronger then the regular. They are able to cultivate their power twice to 10 times faster then the average. And once they reach a high point in their power level they are able to take the form of a human."

Ravens eyes began to shine. "So you can take the form of a human."

"I can." Lucienne nodded.

"Show me. Come on, please show me."

Lucienne sight shifted to the human a mysterious light flickering through his orbs. He spoke softly but direct. "I see no need to."

"Aww." Raven sighed. Such a stingy beast. Won't show him his true form and won't even show him his human form. Such a missed opportunity. He was so focused within his thoughts that he didn't notice the tigers sudden mood change.

Lucienne's ears perked up as a scent different from an animals entered his nose from miles away.

His dark vertical pupils constricted in annoyance.

'Humans.'

*Kaboom*

Just as this thought crossed his mind a big explosion came from the north of the forest. Startling Raven into almost swallowing an whole berry.

Dear near chocking, he quickly spit the fruit out onto the ground before looking towards the north. "What's the hell was that?"
