Chapter 17: Chapter 17

"It's good that the exam is tomorrow you'll be able to join the Academy tomorrow if you pass the exam." Skyleane said to Jane as they were walking around the city to pass time.

"What do you mean? You're also giving the exam with me tomorrow and would also come to the academy with me." Jane said as a matter of fact.

"Me? But my stat-" Skyleane paused as her eyes met Jane's

Jane smiled in response and said "What about your stats? After we make love again tonight you would be more than just eligible to give the entrance exam."

Skyleane blushed seeing Jane talk about it so openly in public and kept quiet. Jane understood her worry and didn't teased her anymore.

A few hours after roaming the city they both reached the inn exhausted but not enough to not make love with each other. After filling their stomach in the cafeteria below they went back to their room as animals in heat as they kissed all over each other.

Jane bit Skyleane's nipples from time to time to tease her making her moan and in response Skyleane pinched and smacked her white buttocks till it was all red. After satisfying each they both fell asleep on each other's embrace.

The next day showed signs of being a pleasant one from the clear blue sky with very little clouds. Jane looked out the window after waking up and felt invigorated when she gazed at the sky.

The bright light also entered inside making Skyleane rise from her sleep aswell. She rubbed her eyes and looked at Jane who was standing by the window while looking at the deep blue sky as her hair followed the wind.

Skyleane captured this picturesque scene clear in her mind. She slowly got up from the bed. Sensing the movement behind her Jane looked back and saw Skyleane who has just woken up. 

"Let's get ready we don't wanna be late for the exam." Jane said as she rushed towards the washroom and closed the door. She clearly wanted to use it before Skyleane entered.

Seeing this Skyleane who wanted to take a piss could only wait in frustration.

After getting ready and filling their stomach both Jane and Skyleane reached the magic academy's entrance. There were around forty or so more people. It was clear that they all also came here to give the exam. The area was quite wide so thanks to it the place didn't looked very crowded.

Soon the academy gate opened and they all were allowed in. The moment they stepped foot in, their bodies disappeared. Thanks to the two student council members telling them that they were just being quickly transported to the test area, Jane and Skyleane were not surprised.

They were transported to a hall where on a stage a crystal the size of a human head was placed on the table. The test was very simple. One would need to place their hands on the crystal ball and then the crystal would judge the aptitude of all the applicants.

Your intelligence stat was not the only factor the crystal checked but it also checked your aptitude with using magic. If the crystal glows it indicates that you pass the test. The intensity of the glow tells you your aptitude with magic. The brighter the glow the more is your aptitude and vice versa.

When all the applicants arrived at the scene the test finally began as the faculty who was overseeing the exam gave the signal. The applicants lined up as directed by the exam taking staff and waited for their turn. 

Jane was curious about on what factor does the crystal check the aptitude because when she asked the applicants beside her they told her that they also were unaware of it. Soon Skyleane's turn arrived she looked at Jane with nervousness. Seeing this Jane nodded at her to encourage her which relieved Skyleane a bit. With a deep breath Skyleane soon reached the crystal and placed her hand on it.

Since her intelligence stat was already above 150 the crystal started glowing without any trouble. Seeing this Skyleane was relieved and waited for the crystal intensity to come at a standstill though unlike her expectations it took longer for it to come at a stop. The examiner noted something on a piece of paper which somehow had Skyleane's picture on it and called the next applicant.

Jane's turn was next she did the same and the intensity of the the glow was higher than any applicants till now. The examiners eyes widened a little as he carefully write something on the paper with Jane's picture and called in the next applicant.

Jane and Skyleane got down the stage and sat on the seats that had been arranged for them as they waited for the results. After waiting for another half an hour the testing was finally finished and just fifteen minutes later the results were announced.

A number of faces were shown on the the screen behind the stage arranged one after another. Jane's face was at the top which attracted a lot of gazes.Jane didn't care about it as she searched for Skyleane's picture. She finally heaved a sigh of relief when she found her in the middle.

Skyleane also heaved a sigh of relief seeing this. Out of the forty people who came for the exam only 15 were selected. The fifteen people whose faces were on the screen were soon called to fill in their details while the rest were guided out of the academy.

After filling all their particulars Jane and Skyleane soon got a letter which indicated their acceptance to the academy. Jane was assigned to Class A whereas Skyleane was assigned to Class C. On inquiring the staff said it was based on their magic aptitude.

It was a pity that they both couldn't be in the same class but studying in the same academy was also good enough. They both were told that they could shift right now to the hostel if they wanted. 

Hearing this Jane and Skyleane decided to go back to the inn to take their luggage and enter the academy later. Since they had nothing much to do joining the hostel today would be a better use of their time.
