Chapter} ~{Three}~{ARC 1.

Location} ~ { Dungeon Floor ~ 10

P.O.V} ~ {Marcus Cain

It’s been a month since I finished the project that Freya had me do for her that day.

This was my first dungeon run-in since arriving with my Item Box.

I did not need to go back and forth between the dungeon and the surface as I had more than enough supplies in it, and as far as my smithy, it was in a semi-open state.

As Freya let me borrow a few of the female members of the familial with the condition, I had to build or fulfill a request by those members, which I agreed to easily as the ‘Bastard Smith’, and those members were lovely ladies.

I was currently sitting in the branches of a greyish dead-looking tree; I was slowly eating my lunch for this day in the dungeon.

It was an onigiri made with a rice-type material stuffed with a BBQ-type medley of monster meat I had made before I went on this adventure.

I was also drinking a special brew of green tea; I let out a light breath, took another bite of onigiri, and rested against the tree.

“With my shadow clones running around slaughtering the monsters and collecting the crystals, I can take my lunch break; with no one on this floor, I don’t have to hide my abilities.”

I lifted my cup, took a swallow of tea, took another bite of onigiri, and chewed it feeling discomfort when a clone was returned when they were overwhelmed when they came across groups too large to handle.

Still, I noted the info I received when this happened.

“Freya warned me not to go past this floor, or I would receive a punishment, and with that woman, I shudder at the thought that may be.”

Frankly, I feared her enough not even to send a shadow clone past this level, as I had learned when she upgraded the mark on my back my adventure here would tell her all the things that happened.

I knew she would learn some of my secrets once I returned to the surface and met the goddess.

Still, these thoughts ended when I felt the hidden shadow clone on the eleventh floor dispel the Jutsu.

As the information was received, I knew a team of female adventurers was coming upstairs, and as I went over the emblem, the clone saw and soon remembered which familia it was.

“Ishtar!”

I made a few hand signs a dispelled the main part of the shadow clone Jutsu.

The clones had already collected and received all the drops from the monster killed on the floor.

As the clones also connected with the Item Box anyways, as they were a part of me, to begin with, it was only natural they had access to the box as well.

I then stuffed the last part of the onigiri and leaped down from the tree as I continued to chew the last swallow of food in my mouth.

By recalling the clones, their experiences were added to me, and I needed to adjust to them, so I went on the hunt using the two daggers I made for myself while using Tai-jutsu to maneuver around Orcs and the imps.

I delivered dagger strikes instead of just using bare fist and kick; while performing Leaf Coiling Whirlwind,Leaf Flash Kick,Leaf Gale,Leaf Great Whirlwind, and Leaf Rising Wind.

The combination of my dual blades and my Tai-jutsu made me appear almost dancing as I took one target down by another.

I was aware of the group watching me, even if the fog on this floor was thick.

As the last Orc collapsed and split in two, I heard a clapping noise, and as I turned, I saw a small group of amazons, two cat girls, and a pallium, but the one clapping was a familiar woman who I had met in the past.

It was a woman named ‘Aisha Belka’; she was a lovely woman even as a member of the Ishtar Familia…

“Truly beautiful moves, Mr.Cain… I wonder how your abilities would translate in another format other than the dungeon or your smithy.”

As she said this, my Incubus half wanted me to grant her this wish, but I had control over it.

I didn’t want to die and not know how it happened, so I said,

“Unforntaly, Lady Belka; this humble smith wouldn’t dare to taint you in such a way not only our familia, not on the best terms at the this time but the thought of paying a small fortune for anyone time I took from the red light district would force me to charge the beauties higher amount outside of the material cost making me less favorable to everyone.”

I saw Aisha smirk, and after a few moments, she said, “That’s why you should have joined Ishtar.

I am so jealous that the women of Freya Familia get to enjoy the bastard smith’s services… May I know why you refuse back then?”

I laughed and then said, “as lovely as you girls are and being in your care would be … heaven on the mortal plane, but we know your heaven has a large venomous toad in that heaven that would send most mean to a personal hell.”

I could see a mental image of a certain amazon in all the woman’s mind, and Aisha had to laugh because she knew Phryne Jamil was indeed a toad and more if Phryne Jamil swallowed me be no bones or tears at the end.
