Chapter 3: Chapter 2: Rion & Riel

As the two people stepped out of the pods in front of me I took in both their appearances.

Doing my best to look at them both in their faces as I did.

Since at the moment both of them are completely and utterly naked.

Yeah.

*Ahem*

So anyway, the one who stepped out of the pod on the right is a female. Her height is 175 centimeters. She has long jet-black hair that goes all the way down to her butt, deep ruby-red eyes, and clear porcelain skin without any visible blemishes my eyes can see. She also has curves in all the right places, and full D-cup breasts.

As for the person who stepped out of the pod on the left, it is a male.

His height is also 175 centimeters. 

And just like the girl standing next to him he has jet-black hair and ruby-red eyes. But unlike her his hair is short, stopping just above his shoulders. He also has porcelain skin without any visible blemishes I can see. The guy also has quite the handsome face.

And I'm secure enough in my own manhood to admit that.

Taking these two in I can clearly see they are Rion & Riel, my NPC companion characters I acquired back in the game.

Though I wonder, just how different are they going to be now that this world isn't a game?

I continued looking at the brother/sister duo for another minute before speaking up.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Hey Wren" Rion spoke.

"Hello master Wren." Riel said. Giving a slight bow as she did so.

Making her breasts slightly jiggle as she did so.

A scene which I couldn't help but take notice of.

Really, bio-synthetic bodies are no joke. If I didn't know that Rion & Riel were simply AI's inhabiting them to interact with the physical world I would assume they are human without question.

But they are not.

I need to remember that.

Looks like I just added another thing to my list of things to get used to in this new reality of mine.

Oh well.

Riel stood back to her feet.

"Alright guys, there are things we need to talk about." I told them. "But first, let's get you both in some clothes."

The twins nodded at my words.

Once they did so we left the engine room and moved towards the elevator, arriving back on deck two.

As soon as we did Rion & Riel each headed toward their own room in the crew quarter section, while I headed to the mess hall to wait for them to return.

Back in the game I assigned each of them a room in the crew quarters, and stocked it with in-game purchases I made towards them. Generally being clothing-related.

That was part of the fun of the game.

Now I didn't have time to check their rooms to see if any of their articles of clothing remained before I awakened them from their slumber, but I am hoping that is the case.

Speaking of which I should definitely check my own closet in the captain's quarters later on to see if I have any other clothing than what I am wearing right now.

Which is a long-sleeve black shirt, brown military pants, and black boots.

The same clothing I left Wren in when I logged out of the game last time.

So glad I didn't decided to leave him in any silly clothing. Waking up here in that scenario would've been really embarrassing.

Just think about it brings a wry smile to my face.

Leaning back in the chair I am sitting in I let my mind wander.

Specifically towards the people I cared about back in my old world.

My parents, my younger sister, my friends. I wonder how they are all doing right now? How are they handling my situation?

I still can't help but wonder, did I die to end up here, or did I simply disappear from my old world without a trace. Are people even missing me right now?

As these kinds of thoughts swirled around in my head I was broken out of them as Rion & Riel entered the mess hall.

Both fully clothed thankfully.

Rion is dressed in grey pants and a black hoodie, with grey shoes on his feet.

Meanwhile Riel is dressed in a black and white maid-uniform. Which has a super-short skirt. Black stockings are covering her pristine legs.

And it's not what you guys are thinking ok!

In the game no-type of explicit or sexual activity could take place between players and NPC's, or anybody for that matter. [Grand Galaxy Online] didn't allow that.

The only reason Riel has type of clothing is for my own personal satisfaction.

I'm a bit of a degenerate, so sue me. A lot of people are, they are just afraid to admit it.

But not me.

I am proud to say I am a man of culture.

Rion & Riel came to sit with me at the table I was at.

But before Riel sat down she looked at me. "Master Wren, is there anything you require before we begin?" She asked me.

"Ah, no Riel." I told her.

"I see." She mused. "Well if you require anything master just let me know and I will get it for you." Riel spoke.

She then took her seat right next to her brother.

As she did so I released a soft mental sigh.

'Looks like their personalities are relatively the same from when they were in the game.' I thought.

Another feature of what made [Grand Galaxy Online] so popular is that once players acquired companion characters they could customize their personalities as well as their skills to suite their tastes and needs.

I was no different.

After I acquired Rion & Riel I made their personalities to my liking. As well gave them skills which were beneficial to me.

I made Rion an expert engineer. Able to handle all things mechanical and electronically based on the ship and beyond. I also gave him a rather relaxed personality, except for when the situation turns serious. That's when he gets serious as well.

As for Riel, I gave the strict older-sister type personality. She'd discipline Riel when he stepped to far out of line. I also made her a ditful maid who has no tolerance for those seeking to harm Pleiades or any member of her crew. If Riel meets people like this she won't hesitate to dispose of them like the are trash, with extreme prejudice.

But she is kind to allies.

As for her skills I maxed out her cooking and cleaning abilities, and also maxed out her hand-to-hand combat abilities. I basically made my own very personal loyal combat maid.

Which again, I have no regrets about.

Even now, despite how awkward I feel getting called master to my face.

Though I will admit it's growing on me.

Oh and speaking of skills, I wonder if I possess the skills I gave to Wren when he was just an avatar in the game. Like his piloting and marksmanship abilities.

That is something I will definitely have to test out sooner rather than later.

Especially since I will be living my life journeying through space now.

It's an extremely dangerous place after all.

The game made that clear in several aspects, and if this world I am now living in is based on the game then I need to prepare for what will probably come against me.

'So much to do, so little time.' I thought.

Better get started then.

"Rion, Riel, what is the last thing you two remember?" I asked them.

Since I need to know what they know before I proceed in my talks with them. Just to make sure I don't trip up and make them perceive me as a threat.

That would be bad on so many levels its not even funny.

I made these two high-spec killers after all. One wrong move and I'm dead.

"Well, the thing is I can't remember anything until you released us from slumber Wren." Rion told me.

Riel nodded her head in agreement. "Yes, what my brother says is true master Wren. Until you awakened me from my sleeping pod I don't remember anything prior." She explained.

"I see." I said.

Happy at what they shared with me.

It means they don't remember anything that happened while in the game.

But they do remember me and the Pleiades. So I guess while most of their memory has been wiped somehow, some things still remain.

That's good. Means we're all in the same boat where starting out is concerned.

"Thanks for sharing that with me you two." I said. 

The siblings both nodded at my words.

"So, here's the situation we are in right now." I began. "Currently we are in an unknown region of space. I have no idea how we ended up here. One minute everything was fine, and then in the next second I blacked out. I then woke up on the bridge only a little while ago. After doing a quick search of the ship I found she is completely intact. Once I accomplished this I came and woke you two up, and now here we are." I explained.

Making up a backstory for how we ended up in our current situation.

Which I think the twins are believing, given the looks on their faces right now.

Despite being AI, they do have emotions.

"Wow." Rion said.

"Yes, this is most troubling indeed." Riel added.

I nodded. "I know, but at least we're all in one piece, as well as Pleiades."

The twins nodded in unison at this.

"Alright then. So now that that's out of the way let's head to the bridge and see if we can't shed a little more light on our situation." I spoke.

Since I want to access our data logs and navigational records.

There probably won't be anything there considering how things have been so far, but here's hoping.

Rion & Riel both agreed with my suggestion.

After they did so we left the mess hall and headed straight for the elevator.

Our destination, the bridge to further investigate our current circumstances.
