I simply stared at the image of space in front of me for quite some time.
But after a while I stopped. Since I still have several things I need to do.
Besides, if this isn't all just some sort of super-realistic dream then I will have plenty of time to marvel at space and all its wonders.
Yes, plenty of time indeed.
Getting out of the captains chair, since that's exactly what it is, I stretched for a moment to loosen up my body.
Once that was done I moved toward the exit of the bridge to go and explore the rest of the ship.
Since if this is Pleiades that I crafted in [Grand Galaxy Online] the layout should be exactly the same.
As I reached the exit of the bridge the bulkhead automatically opened, sliding upward. Allowing me to exit with no issue.
Moving down the corridor I came to an elevator entrance situated between two corridors. Each of which led to their own room.
Heading down the left corridor I reached the bulkhead at the end of the hallway and it opened, revealing a room with several chairs situated around an oval-shaped table.

The ship's meeting room.
Moving over to the table I tapped on a button it, and then a moment later a holographic image of Pleiades came up, projected a few feet into the air.

"So this confirms it." I said.
I really am currently aboard Pleiades.
Disengaging the projection I left the meeting room and then returned to the elevator.
Entering it I took it down to deck two.
As I did my walkthrough I saw everything that should be there was, exactly like on deck one.
By the way, Pleiades is arranged like so.
Deck One: Bridge. Meeting Room. Observation Deck.
Deck Two: Crew Quarters. Mess hall. Med Bay. Gym. Armory
Deck Three: Cargo Hold. Engine Room. Secondary CIC.
Reaching the crew quarters I headed straight for the captain's room. Well my room now I guess.
As the door opened I entered inside.

Finding it exactly how I left just like when I logged out of the game only a few hours ago.
It was right before I went to sleep and found myself here.
Taking a leisurely walk around I inspected the room, and then headed into the private bathroom to do the same.
But as I did so I paused when I got a look at myself in the mirror.
That's because my entire appearance has changed.

I should have black hair and green eyes and my height should be only 180 centimeters.
But instead I have short-blonde hair and grey eyes. I am also sure I am taller and now stand at 183 centimeters.
Not only that the face in the mirror is extremely familiar to me.
It's the face of my in-game avatar, Wren Trifas.
What does this mean?
Is this a situation like with those isekai protagonist of Japanese light novels and manga experience that I love to read. Did I die and somehow end up transmigrating into the body of my game avatar in my favorite game?
Or maybe whatever force decided to place me here changed my appearance for their own amusement.
I don't know.
All I do know is that now I look like Wren.
So I guess I might as well call myself Wren.
I mean since this is probably going to be my new life and all, it would do good not to use my old name. That way no lingering feelings will remain.
So yeah, from now on I will be known as Wren Trifas.
Deciding this I slightly nodded at myself in the mirror.

I then left the bathroom and the captains' quarter and returned to the elevator, heading down to deck three.
Arriving I stepped out of the elevator. Finding the cargo hold completely devoid of anything as I did so.
Seeing this I got a bit depressed.
Because I remember just before logging off the game that the cargo hold was pretty full of goods I had collected from just completing a quest.
However looking at it right now means all my hard work to complete that quest was for nothing.
Which I was sort of hoping wouldn't be the case.
I mean the fridge in the mess hall is fully stocked with supplies, and the armory is full of weapons and ammo. So I assumed the cargo hold would have some material or supplies.
Eh, it's fine.
Just means I need to get to work re-filling it as soon as possible.
Moving away from the elevator I went to inspect the secondary CIC, which saved my ass more than a few times during space battles in the game.
A/N: CIC stands for Command Information Center
Everything looks good.
Once I made sure of this I exited the room and made my way to arguably the most important room on the entire ship.
The engine room.
Arriving outside the door I waited for it to open and then entered inside.
My eyes going straight to the engine of Pleiades as I did so.
It is shaped like a cylinder with a blue orb hovering in a transparent gap in the middle of it. The orb itself is gently moving up and down giving off a low hum as it does so.
Seeing this with my own eyes instead of just on a screen I have to say, it's beautiful.
I stared at the engine for a few more seconds before turning my attention away from it.
As I did so I noticed something.
In the back of the room are two egg-shaped pods mounted into the wall. Looking at them closely I can make out of the silhouette of people inside of each one of them.
"No way." I said.
There is just now way.
Back in the game after meeting certain requirements players could acquire what are known as companions characters. NPC's that were completely loyal to a player. They could level up alongside them and would assist them in missions and the like.
I myself acquired two companion characters.
Two AI's.
Otherwise known as Artificial Intelligence.
Which were commonplace in the game.
But back to what I was saying.
I managed to acquire two AI companion characters. A brother and sister, twins actually. The girl I named Rion, while I named her younger twin brother Riel.
Then through another quest I managed to obtain some bio-synthetic bodies.
Which are man-made bodies crafted with highly advanced technology capable of simulating real human bodies. Despite the fact the bodies are completely machine-based.
I got them so Rion and Riel could move about freely and journey outside of Pleiades with me.
To me it was definitely worth the hours I spent playing the game to get those two bodies.
And Rion and Riel's bodies are the ones sitting in the pods in front of me right now.
To think, they would end up here with me.
But the question is, just how are they different now that is isn't just a game anymore?
I guess there's only one way to find out.
Moving over to the two pods I used the control panels attached to each of them to activate their opening sequence.
Once I initiated this process I stepped back.
As the latches on the pods opened white smoke began coming out of them. But the vents in the room automatically sucked it up and got rid of it.
Eventually both pods opened up fully.
As they did so the people inside stepped out of them.
Looking right at me as they did so.
