“What the hell is that?”

“Must be a new alien. I think.”

“He’s so small. Is it a child or something?”

“Oh my stars! It looks so adorable!”

“I know right?!”

“Hey, is it just me or can you all see stripes on that guy?”

“Now that you mention it, I think I can if I look at it carefully. Barely noticed it.”

"... Beautiful stripes."

“A human? We have a human here now?”

“That’s a human? They look even cuter than the pictures!”

These were the things I heard when I walked into the giant building that held my classes. Inside, I couldn’t help but stare in amazement at the clean, but futuristic setting I found myself in. Holograms showing a series of words, and some showing high definition videos of some type of commercial. Showing off a product of some kind with a sexy alien with huge tits posing with the product in hand, while a few had some kind of TV show. Transparent elevators that showed people going up and down on a platform that had no wires and simply floated. Defying any sense of physics.

“... Shit.” Muttering out loud. Walking up to a random person, a rather beautiful birdlike alien that reminded me of that one blue parrot from an old kids movie that takes place in Brazil. I couldn’t really make out if it was a guy or girl, since their body was androgynous. Only to realize that they were wearing very baggy clothes that hid their body.

“Excuse me, do you know where I can find this place?” Asking them out loud.

The birdlike alien simply blinked.

“Uhm, can you understand me? This is my first day here, so I’m not really sure where exactly I need to head to my class.”

They still stared at me with an expressionless look.

“... Sorry for bothering you.” Turning around and began walking away before they finally talked.

“W-Wait!” Causing me to jump in slight freight before turning to see them running up to me.

“Uhm? Yes?”

“S-Sorry about that! I was just surprised! Sorry!” They exclaimed out loud before catching up to me.

“... Alright? But can you help me find this class?” I asked them as I showed them the screen of my phone that showed my first class.

“Oh! Introduction to The History of The Galactic Government? I know where it is. In fact, I can show you where it is!”

“Really?! Thank you.” I smiled as I was glad that I wouldn’t be given directions that might be misleading.

“No problem. Now, if you can follow me.” She began walking, in which I followed behind like her little duckling. Throughout the way, many people saw as I passed by. Staring in either surprise or with a poker face as they looked down to see me.

At one point, we had to go into an elevator filled with people, and I was barely able to enter. But I was stuck between a sea of legs, asses, and tails while many couldn’t help but look down at me with interest.

“Yeah … wonder why exactly we’re so popular other than being cute.” I wondered in my head.

“-and here’s your classroom.” Said the blue birdlike alien as they pointed at a certain entrance. Like all doors in the building, this one had a wide and tall entrance that allowed all types of bodies to pass through.

“Thank you. Have a good day.” I said as I thanked the alien.

"You too Michael! And don't forget! My name is Hichi! Have a wonderful day!" She waved goodbye.

"Thanks." Waving them goodbye, I started walking through the entrance to find myself in a theater filled with rows after rows of seats. Surprised at the fact, the class takes place in a large auditorium. All the seats facing the stage with a giant white screen.

As I walked down the steps, hoping to get a front seat, I heard a voice calling me.

"Michael! Over here!" Said a familiar voice. Turning to see Reeda of all people sitting near the front. Walking to her, I could see her patting the large chair next to her.

"I'm a bit surprised to see you here, Reeda." I told her as I got closer to her.

"Me too. But I'm happy nonetheless." She said as I sat down next to her.

"Happy? Guess you must have missed me that much." Teasing her a little bit and surprised to see a darker hue of red appear on her cheeks as she stared at me with a bit of shock.

“Er … No, I mean yes! Wait!”

“Hah, I’m just joking with you.” Chuckling at her reaction as she gave me a pout.

“Bro, you’re so mean.” She said.

“Fine. Fine. I’ll stop teasing. I mean, we’re about to start class.”

Right on cue, a wolf-like professor walked up to the stage as the auditorium began to quiet down as they saw a screen appear on the giant projector showing an alien language I understood due to growing up on learning the language.

“Welcome to the Introduction of Galactic Government History, everyone. This will be your first class that everyone must take for their first year here. Unless you are a repeating student, that is, but I’m sure that everyone understands the importance of this class. It is after all the one government that integrated all of your home worlds into what is considered the largest body of political and governmental power in the known universe. Knowing that this is a simple introduction class, what you would expect from this is the knowledge of how the government came to be, their goal, and some other things. Since today is the first lesson, what I will be teaching you is a simple summary of what we will be going over for the next few months. Do know that there are tests throughout the class where you will be tested in your knowledge regarding this historical class.

Seeing as many of you are new here, I have sent all of you a schedule regarding what my lesson plans will be.”

Unlocking my phone, I was surprised to see a message appearing with a link.

“Moving on, due to some recent events I’m sure you have all heard of. We are proud to say that the government has finally discovered a new species colloquially known as Humanity that has become integrated into the galactic community.”

I could hear everyone beginning to talk as the topic was brought up.

“I know what you all might be thinking and due to the recent rumors popping up on the Internet, yes. The institution has decided to accept Human students into our world. In fact, we even accepted the first ever Human here just a few weeks ago. I’m sure you might have seen them walking by. Surprising to see that Humans are so small, but make no mistake. They are the same as you and I, so please be on your best behavior when you meet him. I do not want to have to write a report of someone causing an international diplomatic issue because they didn’t know how to act in front of a recent species discovering they weren’t alone in their world.”

Reeda looked at me with a rather complex expression, as I shrugged in return.

“Now, let’s start with the lesson, shall we?”

“Holy shit, that took way too long.” I muttered as I walked out of the auditorium.

“Dude, what the raptor jegus? I thought it would only take an hour or so, but holy mother. That was a lot.” Said Reeda as she walked next to me.

“Guy won't stop talking, so I can take notes. How the fuck am I going to remember all of that shit if he goes too fast?! Next time, I need to record that class.” I told her.

“Can we do that?” She asked.

“If we keep quiet? Mayhaps.”

“Good, I don’t want to take a test with missing information, bro.” She said,

“You said it, brah.” I said without a filter.

“Hey bro.” She looked down at me.

“What brah?”

“Wanna hit the arcade after our classes?” She asked with a hopeful tone.

“All my yes!” Agreeing immediately because I seriously wanted to see what kind of video games the aliens had.

“Really?” Her body and face appeared excited about the notion that I accepted her proposal.

“Of course I do! I just want to see everything the world has to offer. It’s the main reason why I even came in the first place.” I told her.

“Yes.” She fisted the air at the knowledge that I agreed. I could see her tail wag as she expressed happiness.

“What class do you have next?” I asked her.

“Cultural Introduction and that’s it.” She said.

“Damn, same.”

“Awesome.”

“Not gonna lie, her smile does look nice. Maybe getting a date this fast with a cute dino girl seems alright. Guess my youth is finally coming to me.” I thought as the two of us headed off to our next class.
