Ugly Bastard: I have recently unlocked the power of hypnosis. By simply looking into someone’s eyes, I can brainwash them into doing anything I desire.

There is a couple nearby.

Plain-Looking Boyfriend Protagonist: "I love you, girlfriend-chan. I hope I don't get cucked by some random dude."

Very Attractive Girlfriend: "I love you too, boyfriend-kun. I hope no grotesque male uses hypnosis to violate me in front of you and ruin our relationship."

Ugly Bastard: Ah, a young couple in the throes of passion. I know just how to handle this...

Walks up to them.

Ugly Bastard: "Excuse me."

Girlfriend gets behind Boyfriend as the latter stands defensively.

Plain-Looking Boyfriend Protagonist: "W-w-what do you want?"

Ugly Bastard: "I just want you both to look into my eyes."

Before they can do anything, they're both stuck in a trance. Ugly Bastard grins wide.

Ugly Bastard: "Heh, heh, heh, time to have some fun..."

Two minutes later...

Very Attractive Girlfriend: "The truth is, I've always had a crush on Slightly More Attractive Boyfriend Protagonist."

Very Attractive Girlfriend: "Agreed."

She leaves to tell her crush how she feels.

Ugly Bastard: "Are you feeling okay, young man?"

Plain-Looking Ex-Boyfriend Protagonist: "I'm a little hurt, but I'm also glad. People shouldn't force or trick others into love. I'm glad you helped us to see that."

Ugly Bastard: "I'm just doing my part to make the world a better place. Sometimes, in order to help others, you have to be willing to expose uncomfortable truths so they can grow as people. I hope things work out with her best friend."

Plain-Looking Ex-Boyfriend Protagonist: "Mm, yes, I'll let you know. Thanks again!"

He leaves to tell his crush how he feels.

Ugly Bastard: "I'm glad that ended on a positive note. Some couples just feel so superficial. It would be better if people were more open with each other, even if it hurt sometimes."
