Chapter 21: Chapter 20

Romeo stopped the car before he reached Halo’s street. He turned to Halo and saw that he was undoing his belt. Halo climbed over the seat as Romeo locked the doors.

Romeo took off his jacket and followed him to the back. The lights were off, but they could see one another. 

Halo cupped Romeo’s cheeks and said as he looked into his eyes, “I’ve wanted you since that day. It’s been weeks already and I can’t stop wanting you now.”

Romeo remained silent as he ran his hands up Halo’s waist and placed a kiss on his lips. Halo moaned against the kiss and circled his hips as Romeo undid the button of his jeans. 

Halo reached down and took Romeo’s shirt off as Romeo took his off. Halo rushed to climb off of him and took off his jeans and Romeo did the same. Romeo reached over and ripped Halo’s underwear off.

They were both erect and ready. As Romeo lined himself up with Halo’s eager entrance, he realised Halo wasn’t ready to be entered. But Halo didn’t care. He was inexperienced and wanted Romeo so badly that he wasn’t thinking straight.

Halo forced himself down Romeo’s length and yelled out in pain. Romeo hushed him and hugged him. He hugged Halo and placed kisses down his neck, making his way to his ear, “I know you want me, but you need to think of yourself too.”

Halo whimpered in his hold as they sat there. Romeo did nothing. He hugged Halo, who was sucking on him with his insides that were calling him to ravage them.

Halo calmed down and sat up on Romeo. He looked at him and said, “I’m ready.”

Romeo sighed and kissed him under the chin. “Finally.”

Romeo thrust his hips forward and fucked Halo into oblivion. The car windows had steamed up while it moved with their rhythm. The car was hot inside and their bodies were soaked in sweat.

Romeo was lying on his side with Halo in his arms on the back seat, hugging him. His thrusts were powerful, yet slow. Halo let out shuddering breaths, taking him deep in and refused to resist him.

Halo turned his head and kissed Romeo. Romeo smiled against his lips. “Want me to stop?”

Halo shook his head, making him laugh, “I came three times already and you? You filled my car up with your children.”

Halo chuckled. He flipped around and settled on Romeo with him still inside him. Looking down into his eyes, he said, “Your semen is doing something to my body.”

Romeo was confused. “What did it do?”

“It’s making me fall head over heels for you,” he said, making Romeo sigh, thinking it was something serious.

Pulling out, he hugged Halo. “Let’s get you inside and dressed.”

“But I don’t want you to leave,” Halo complained, falling asleep. 

Romeo pinched his cheek. “Wake up. I don’t want your mother to hate me.”

“Mn,” Halo moaned, falling asleep.

Halo piped the last of the three thousand meringues he had to pipe for tomorrow’s valentines packages and sighed as he placed the bag in a bowl and carried the tray over to the oven and put it in.

“You have all the ovens working overtime,” Billie commented as she filed her nails down by her desk.

It was Thursday, and he had been working on making decorations and doing the boxes all by himself because Billie was still pissed at him and like always, he took it all because of the deal he had with his ‘Boss’ from two years ago.

Halo licked his lips and went over to the sink and started cleaning up. A timer went off, making Halo quickly dry his hands and rush off to the kitchen at the end of the hallway. He opened the door and smiled at the head of the consumer’s department and switched off the fifteen ovens working overtime for him.

After switching them all off, he grabbed the oven gloves and pulled the trays out one at a time and set them on the stove to cool off.

“The class smells amazing, thank you Halo,” Mrs Dean commented, making Halo smirk.

Halo sighed as he took the last one out and actually felt sick to the point where his tears felt like falling. He stepped out of the kitchen, closing the door behind him and exhaled.

He was overworked to the bone and only saw Romeo in the mornings and evenings when he fetched him and dropped him — he was so exhausted that he barely spoke to him, too.

Halo made his way to the class and jumped when he heard Romeo’s voice boom from behind him, “HALO!!”

Halo turned to look at him and, seeing Romeo’s pissed expression as he stalked over to him, made his frustration bubble out and start crying.

Romeo’s eyes widened in shock when he saw this and jogged into a run. He caught Halo, who fell and started crying in his arms. Halo’s face was stuffed in his chest as Halo told him everything and expressed how he missed him and wanted to sleep.

Romeo held his boyfriend tightly and scooped him up. He kissed Halo on the lips and said, “Everything will be okay Kitten, I will make sure you get to rest all you want.”

Romeo waited for Halo to settle down and wiped his tears away. He stood Halo up and went with him into the kitchen and his eyes snapped over to Billie, who immediately stopped filing her nails and stood up.

She could see that Romeo was pissed off and, from the looks of things, it was directed at her. 

Halo pulled Romeo over to his side by the sink where continued doing the dishes. Romeo turned his head to look at Billie as Halo’s back was facing them and suddenly said, “I see you are lazy as usual.”

“What does that mean?” She asked as her gaze drifted over to Halo, who was busy.

“Nothing,” Romeo stated as he pulled his phone out and started typing away and asked, “So what are we doing on Saturday? We haven’t been speaking and you are too tired to chat with me.”

Halo turned around and looked at him. His eyes were burning, but he said, “I’m sorry, I swear after tomorrow, I am only going to be busy again for Easter then mother’s day, father’s day and the football game.”

Romeo looked up from his phone at Halo and said, “You’ve made me feel unwanted.”

“I’m sorry,” Halo whispered, trying his best not to cry again.

Romeo stood up and walked over to Halo while slipping his phone back into his pocket and wrapped his strong arms around Halo’s waist and kissed him on the back of his neck, “You are human Halo, not a fucking robot. I will never allow you to work so hard again unless it’s absolutely necessary — I know you are not the masochistic type and you need to put an end to this, or I will. There are many people here in this club that are supposed to work together with you.”

“I know,” Halo whispered with a sniffle.

Romeo kissed his ear and said, “Billie, you’ve fucked with me for the last time. Call everyone the fuck here to do what they must, or I will make you regret being alive.”

“I didn’t say he must do it all by himself!” Billie growled at him.

Halo whipped his head around and threw a knife at Billie, who dodge it and yelled at her, “You lying piece of shit! You fucking told them I will do all the work while you all take the credit! I swear if it wasn’t for the promise I made, I would have ratted your lying ass out the first chance I got!”

Romeo looked at Halo, surprised as he did not see this side of Halo before. And what promise was Halo talking about?

“You know what? You’ve been so fucking full of yourself since you started dating Romeo an…” Billie started.

Halo pushed Romeo away and walked over to her as she spoke. He raised his hand and slapped her across her face and said, “Now you can say I’ve been full of myself! Ever since Romeo and I came out publicly and that day at Justin’s house, you’ve been looking at me like I took something of yours and you better fucking understand that I never took shit from you and never will. I only did this because I’m not someone that makes others look bad and I need this type of hard training for MY JOB and I know your ass is jealous because you lost out on the job at Mikyle place. Now, I don’t give a shit if you call everyone back, but I don’t want to see your face.”

Romeo grabbed Halo’s shoulder and pulled him back against his chest. Halo was surprised and looked at Romeo, stunned, and realised that he had burst out in front of his boyfriend. A side of himself that he did not want to show him.

Romeo looked over at Billie and said, “I already warned you, do what I said or you will see a side of me you know very well.”

Billie packed her bag and swore to herself that she would make Halo pay for humiliating her like this and especially for smacking her.

Romeo smirked after she left and said as he turned Halo around, “Damn Kitten, you are feisty as fuck, you made my dick hard!”

Halo looked between them and saw that Romeo was bullshitting him. He looked back into his eyes and said, “Don’t lie, there’s nothing hard between your pants.”

Romeo chuckled with a shake of his head, “Of course not that, plus it was a figure of speech. Can I just say that I love this side of you, too? You don’t seem like the type that would blow up on someone.”

Halo’s body felt like jelly hearing his words. He hugged Romeo and said, “I really missed you, Romeo.”

“I missed you too, Kitten,” Romeo hugged him back and snuck in a butt rub.

Halo chuckled, “From the way you feeling me up, I know you missed me.”

Romeo smirked and whispered, “And I miss being inside you.”

Halo blushed and shook his head. Just thinking about being connected with Romeo so intimately was a turn on.
