What was happening with Flo and Chaos was something that Zuri was very familiar with, she had seen this countless times, but this time, it was way more stronger and suffocating.
The effect of this would be varying, it depended on how strong Chaos's shattered soul was. Probably something like this would happen when Chaos took back his shattered soul from Knox, but why was it happening with Flo as well?
Or was she stronger than Knox?
However, seeing how Flo was still smiling, another revelation hit Zuri.
"No way," she muttered under her breath. "This must be impossible."
From the looks of it, it was not Chaos, who was sucking out Flo's soul, but the other way around.
"Is that even possible?"
Zuri turned toward Hades, who enjoyed the sight of it and even seemed thrilled, wanting to know what would happen next.
"Damn it! Explain to me how this could happen?" Zuri felt like her whole body was trembling. "Is that little girl sucking Chaos's soul?! She is his shattered soul, not the other way around!"
Hades rubbed his chin, as if he was making an observation and this pissed Zuri off greatly.
"I don't know, Aaron must have done something to her so she could do something like that, or probably that's her nature." Hades shrugged his shoulders. "Chaos's shattered souls can do various things. There is one that can do magic like me, someone that can shift their soul to someone else and many other things. I don't keep track of that. I think this one has a special talent and has the same ability as Chaos."
In other words, Flo could suck out other shattered souls of Chaos.
This was bad.
"You are not serious, right?"
"Do you want me to make a joke? In this situation?" Hades frowned. "You are so weird."
Zuri felt her head ache so badly. She didn't have anyone to ask while Hades had more knowledge on what was going on right now, but he only made everything so difficult for her.
"Don't worry, she will not make it, Chaos is stronger than her." Hades patted her shoulder, as if to reassure her. "But, that's only my opinion. I can be wrong."
Ugh!
Zuri really wanted to be so violent toward this devil beside her.
However, despite his annoying comments, he stood next to Zuri. No, he stood slightly in front of her to shield her from whatever would happen next, since this was something that had never happened before.
What would happen if Flo managed to get Chaos? Was that possible?
Zuri watched closely, as Flo's smile faltered, but she didn't seem to panic at all, as if everything was still under her control.
"Can't you go there and stop it? You have nothing to lose, you will not die either!" Zuri shouted against the noises that came from Chaos and Flo's direction. It almost sounded like there were a thousand bees there.
"No, thank you. I don't like to meddle in their business."
"So, what's the point of you coming here?!"
"Just in case you need my help and we can have a deal." Hades wiggled his eyebrows suggestively. "I promise you that I will treat you right if you agree to be my bride. I am a rich man too, you know."
"Go back to hell, Hades."
"Nah, it's not fun there, unless you want to come with me." He chuckled at Zuri's expression. "Will you be my bride? I can help you stop Chaos."
Zuri was seething. This devil still had time to talk nonsense like that in this kind of situation. "Chaos will kill you."
"Nah, I am an immortal." He giggled. "My offer is still valid."
======================
Vanesha tried to avoid eye contact with Gael, she didn't want to see the look in his eyes.
However, ever since she stepped into this room, until now, Gael didn't even once try to make eye contact with her. He didn't even think that she existed, just like Nikolai.
Gael paid zero attention to the siblings.
"Nikolai," Vanesha called her brother in a low voice. She tugged his sleeve to get his attention, as she gave him a meaningful stare, yet Nikolai shook his head subtly, indicating there was nothing that they could do at this point as Sol wouldn't stop.
On the other hand, Sol had an upper hand in this situation, as he stared down at Gael. Hatred was evident in his eyes.
"I still remember how you threatened me years ago when I took away Lise from you." He shot him a dagger look. "And you beat me to pulp."
Sol was still holding a grudge about that moment. No, he actually started to hate Gael from that very moment.
"Really? I have beaten a lot of people and you are among them. You don't really stand out." Gael smirked. He was indicating that the moment that Sol held onto so badly was actually nothing to him. He mocked him for still thinking about that event.
And it was true that Gael managed to get on Sol's nerves, as he roared in anger and smacked his face until he fell to the ground.
Vanesha was about to approach Gael, but Nikolai stopped her. He held her arm tightly and shook his head, while mouthing; no.
There was a reason why Sol brought her to this place, he wanted to see her reaction to whatever thing that he would put Gael through and if she reacted now, whatever she said later on, she would never get Sol's trust back.
"Satisfied?" Gael was laughing to see how angry Sol was. "Are you satisfied after punching me? Is that all you can do? Give me more."
Sol's eyes darkened when he heard that, this time, he took a chair lying around there and hit Gael with that.
Gael right now was only a normal human being without his power. He was bleeding and bruised.
"Fuck you!" Sol hissed, he kicked Gael on the stomach and didn't stop there.
However, Gael only laughed when he did that. For him, being kicked like that was so ridiculous.
"Why? Do you feel powerful because you can kick me all you want with my hands tied up? You feel proud when you can beat your opponent, while they can't even move their hands?" Gael laughed and blood came out of his mouth, but he spitted it out and talked again. "You didn't change at all. You are still a loser."
But this time, after Gael said that and received a few more punches, he directed his eyes on Vanesha, there was no hatred when he stared at the young girl
The girl had helped him to get his daughter back and Gael would be forever grateful for that.
"This is the man that you love, Vanesha? A coward?"
Vanesha had a stronger relationship with Gael than Nikolai with him, because they met when she was older, while her brother only knew him when they were little, thus Nikolai only felt bad for him, but Vanesha felt extremely awful to see Gael like this.
However, she couldn't do anything, she couldn't even ask Sol to stop what he was doing because she was afraid that he wouldn't take her word again, that he would question her.
Yet, it was a torture to see the person that she looked up to and thought as a father figure being treated that way.
"You don't think that he brought you here without any hidden intention, right?" Gael spoke directly to Vanesha. "No, you know that he took you here to torture you by beating me and you still want to be with a man like him?" Gael laughed again, despite the pain. "I wonder, is he even a man?"
Nikolai immediately grabbed Vanesha and pulled her into his arms, as he pressed her face against his chest, so she wouldn't need to witness what Sol was doing to Gael next.
All she could hear was the groans and curses.
Vanesha started trembling in her brother's arms. She hugged him so tight, as Nikolai covered her ears as well, but the sounds could still be heard.

"Hades... what is that?" Zuri was flabbergasted when the light coming from Chaos and Flo brightened to the point of blinding, as the air around them became so wild, as if the two of them were creating a windstorm. "What is happening to them?"
Zuri was about to go closer to Chaos when the protection around Chaos and Flo that was created by Aaron shattered, but Hades grabbed her hand and hugged her. Not long after that, there was a huge explosion.
It was almost like a bomb was set off and everything turned so bright, even the dark night sky looked like day. n-.O--v-(e-.L--B-.1-(n
Zuri thought she would hear a loud blasting sound, but aside from this bright light, nothing happened.
Moreover, Hades had taken her away from that spot as he appeared near the building, while the bright light slightly started fading away right now.
"What is that?" Zuri blinked her eyes, she felt like she was almost blind. "What happened there?"
Hades clicked his tongue. "Can you thank me first before you start worrying about someone else?" He frowned hard, but Zuri didn't care about his nonsensical complaints, as she kicked him on the shin and rushed toward Chaos, she needed to know what happened to him. Did Flo manage to take Chaos? Or the other way around?
