Chapter 23: (24) new servants

Lily guided the group through the portals and then they arrived at a cave with beautiful flowers and crystals all around, not that far is a big lake where the transformed white eel swims together with its offsprings. The eel stared at the guest before continuing what it's doing.

There not far away is a table and some chairs. 

"Sit"

Lily said before a few more chairs appeared so there may be enough for everyone.

They looked at each other before cautiously sitting

She's not afraid of anything, but there is something strange with his eyes, it is as if her scar doesn't matter to him, there is no disgust or anything.

"Looks like I have to use some force"

He said before a portal appeared and the familiar birds walked out of the portals.

Later that day, Lily and Yen visited the new gardeners, and after that weird screams echo around the place.

"They are punishing the intruders?"

Qing Shan said while drinking some juice on the side, he's taking a liking to this thing called juice. It doesn't have the kick of wine, but it is refreshing 

"Don't mind them, it's their fault for annoying the seniors"

Feng Mian said while enjoying watching his disciple in the competition, his two of her disciples got eaten by the frog when they joined the swimming group and he feels very satisfied.

Marlyn on the other hand feels curious, but she knows when to be a good girl and so she just continues playing with her friends.

This is the machination of Lily and Yen creating and tampering with the jade slips until they finally achieve an acceptable ending for the jade slip.

Silence, only silence, and then the table turned into dust. The eyes of the dark-cloaked figure turned red, he can recognize that voice, that is his/her grand disciple.
