The town in the game is also prospering, tho a large demand of items inside appeared to the point that transactions outside occasionally happened.

Still, the highest level is 9, leveling up to higher became harder with no good equipment and most are just grinding for coins and materials. Someone did find the skills for craftsmen and as a result, they are now in high demand because others rather put their skill points on something they can use in battle. At this point, most of the items are only common items with the highest quality item that a player has being an uncommon quality shield in the possession of Lui Zhi Ruo after buying it from the original owner.

Song Nuan took his shield and cast a skill that he brought. He used most of his skill points on it until it is level 3, Provoke.

Magic circles rotate on his shield and they fused with it. The eyes of the tree suddenly flared with anger. 

It swings its branches towards him to which he just dodges and never dared to block them. He occasionally cut the branches to keep the attention of the tree to him. He can't cast too many skills with his amount of mana, but their potency is guaranteed with the quality of his mana.

Little Xu runs fast on the ground to narrow down the distance. 

She slashed one of the branches blocking her path and stabbed the heart but it didn't penetrate much. She then kept stabbing and stabbing until the tree managed to throw her away.

"It's too tough!"

She shouted as she dodge the branches

Song Nuan was also blown to the wall by a powerful swing of a branch.

He hurriedly drank a health potion to heal his wounds.

"Keep attacking!" 

He stood up and used provoke again.

Little Xu thought for a moment before noticing that the heart is connected to some branches that keep it still.

She got on the move and go near it and severing one branch. The tree roar in pain and the ground below it turn hot and so the tree gets yellow lines all over its body.

"Finish it quickly!"

Song Nuan used another provoke, he can't keep taking the damage. The tree is getting stronger.

"Just hold on for a while, I will finish it!"

She shouted as she continued cutting more branches.

The tree wants to attack her, but Song Nuan keeps drinking potions and using provoke.

Seeing that she won't make it in time if she attack individually, she finally used magic. 

Symbols covered her body and she turned into 3 figures and keep attacking the branches until finally, the last branch connected to the heart fell.

She can't use much magic because of the reason that she put more into speed. But still, she added some so she can use magic in a time of emergency.

Song Nuan fell to his butt with ragged breathing.

"That was exciting"

He lay down and tried to catch his breath.

All around him are a bunch of bottles. They used almost a quarter of their potion supplies.

She run towards him and showed him a fruit that looks like that large fruit on the tree. It is contained in a bottle and submerged in an unknown liquid, still beating.

Lastly, Jiang Yang Yue. She focuses on her mana quantity and quality. She is a healer. She got some daggers.

He doesn't believe that some traps can defeat him.

They progressed without much hassle and also got some herbs and materials.

They quickly hid behind a rock and observed.

"Here's the plan, You will take the attacks while I shot them. We have to make sure that they are not scattered and are in range.

We just need to buy enough time for sister Yue to cast her skills."

Wang An started explaining what she have in mind while whispering to them to make sure they will not be noticed.

"Will we be able to pull it off? We don't know what they can do.

Yue Yue, will you be able with it?"

He is skeptical about the plan, they don't know well what the boars can do and this place is a dangerous place.

Jiang Yang Yue replied after thinking a while about it. 

"Fine, I'll go with your plan"
