Chapter 44: Chap 20: Return.

While people are preparing for the celebration, the two are sitting with the big bird and waiting for another event which is the opening of the rifts.

Sitting on a high branch, they observe the masses of disciples gathering below and also the big bird preparing a technique.

"Young friends, make sure to come back again"

The big bird said before a big rift opened on the base of the tree and also another on exclusively for Lily and Yen.

"Don't worry, we will"

Lily said before saying his goodbyes 

"We wish to trade with you when the time comes"

Yen added 

The big bird just chuckled and replied.

"I will wait for that, go now"

They then gave their last greetings before stepping on the rift.

Below on the other hand are disciples rushing to the rift and some looking back, searching for a certain two creatures. Rumors already spread about the two and while most speculated about them being born of this dimension, few know the truth. 

As for the two, they found themselves far away from the ships when they exit. 

They immediately went below and checked their locations.

Looking at the map, Yen said. 

"We are still far away"

"That should be a few days of travel" (Lily)

"Yeah, troublesome, let's hurry" 

And with that, they continue their travel

On one of the ships, the young lady finally returned with her master welcoming her.

"Master"

She bowed to the old man

"You look tired, let's talk inside"

The old man led her inside to a room and once inside the room was sealed.

Without speaking any further, she passed him a jade slip.

He looked into it and his expression drastically changed.

"They have the soul... Order them to return to the sect as soon as possible! We must hurry"

"Yes Master"

Once the young lady left, the old man leaned on his chair and sighed

"Can't they just give this old man a break?"

A few days later, the two are flying in a desert and searching for their destination.

"I heard the celebration will happen later"

"We can join if you want, Marlyn will be very happy"

Lily laughed a bit

Yen just smiled warmly

She replied

"Sure"

"Hehe, you will gain more fat if you eat a lot"

Hearing his teasings, Yen flew and smacked him on the head as to which he just laughed.

After a while, it's already night and they are inside the system, preparing to attend the celebration.
