Chapter 43: Chap 19: Rain

She walked inside the game, something is happening.

Wind bird 2, the assistant of Wind Bird1 looked around the town in confusion. He has been tasked with buying supplies for the team outside of the town. They decided to create their camp outside since the price to stay in an inn is too high for them. 

He then went to the side and asked someone 

"Brother, what is happening here?"

The person looked at him before saying

" oh, you must be one of those from the other land.

Since you don't know, we have a celebration outside, but the sect master decided that this will be a good place to celebrate"

The stranger is more than happy to talk about his hometown to people from other lands.

Wind bird2 got a bit interested in this so-called celebration.

"Celebration?"

It didn't take long before he arrived at his destination, the center of the camp. Here there are trading happening all around. 

"Did you get the supplies?"

Wind Bird1 approached him while carrying logs on his back.

"Yes, elder brother, I also got news of a celebration happening inside the town"

Wind Bird1 then showed his inventory.

Wind Bird1 then looked at the goods before nodding in satisfaction and approval.

"Tell me more about the event"

He said after checking if the supply is right.

"Free food? Tell the others to take some break and we will attend the celebration they are talking about "

They have been eating nothing but bread in this game because it is that they can afford and so a celebration with free food? They will gladly participate.

They do eat food in the game lobby, but in the game, they haven't tasted what foods taste here.

They like bread and even attempted to make one outside with minimal success, but they did succeed in making jams that bring joy to their population. But imagine eating the same flavor of bread every day.

Meanwhile just chilling up in the sky, Lily murmured.

"Why don't they just do it in the game lobby? There are more options there"

He then took out a moving blob of liquid and squish it for some satisfaction.

On the side of the Chilly Rain sect, they are making progress on studying magic. They even added a private testing area for those who have access to the book.

Inside a secluded and secured room, Lui Zhi Ruo sat crossed legged with sweats covering her body.

A magic circle continuously rotates below her and symbols flicker on her body. Her face is ashen and pained. She is currently testing her hypothesis on mana while the others guard her room. They are actually against her plan, but it's too late when they arrived. Lui Zhi Ruo got a rather dangerous case of being a risk-taker from her job as a pill refiner. It is controlled, but if she finds something interesting and valuable to people around her, she will take the risk to prove her findings.

They discovered changes in their bodies the moment they started learning magic and soon they found another energy growing inside them, something they are familiar with, mana.

"Stupid girl, I'm not letting her go after this"

Lui Yu Yan said with an annoyed, but a concerned expression

The others were also frustrated

"Lui Feng Mian, you will guard her after this"

Lui Qing Shan said with a pained look on his face.

Lui Feng Mian just nodded worried expression, he already treat her as his little sister.

He then murmured.

"She's just a little child...but she already has so many burdens on her mind..."

He then sighed

Inside the consciousness of Lui Zhi Ruo two energy rotate around each other. One golden and one made from white symbols.

On her consciousness float a magic circle and on its side float balls of earthy energy with mana being in the very center of the magic circle. There are 9 balls of earthy energy and one ball of mana. Still, they hate the presence of each other, but on closer looks, a thin layer of energy on the surfaces of the energy balls appears to separate the two even if they come close to each other.

She continued to observe and found out that the mana make its energy without drawing from the environment while the earthy energy remained the same.

Knowing that when she returned she will get scolded, she stopped her observation and left her consciousness.

She opened her eyes and to test out the changes she manipulates her earthy energy to lift an object and it lifted up the air. After that, she tested out her mana to do the same, but before it can touch the object the door suddenly swung open and the others rushed in.

"Eh!?!" 

She got surprised and the mana turned unstable and ruptured, destroying the chair into splinters, but not hurting anyone.

Oblivious to just what happened, Lui Feng Mian rushed and hug her.

"You stupid girl, don't make us worry again"

He said without his usual tough tone and expression

She just hugged him back 

The others heaved a sigh of relief.

"What do I always tell you?"

Lui Qing Shan looked at her with a strict eye.

She looked down and replied

"I always rush things..."

After that, they have an extensive talk, mostly about them scolding her a bit, but they also did it just lightly, in the end, they can't bear to be tough to her.

After a while

"This formula you created, this can change the world of cultivation forever.

Lui Fen replied with a smile
