"Good evening, gentlemen. I'm Ext, your temporary guide. At your service," the male attendant bent his upper body in respect. "Good evening, lead the way," I answered promptly.
"This way, please," Ext guided us to the elevator. "Right away," I responded.
My men walked alongside me as we followed our guide.
We entered an elevator and waited for a few minutes until we arrived at our destination.
"The Mingxi family is a bureaucrat belonging to an upper-class society. Someone you cannot mess with. Bear in mind, the future of our clan is at stake. So focus on your job and respect their rules. I'll handle this myself," I instructed strictly. "Yes, young master. As you wish. We will comply," my men nodded their heads briefly.
'I'm coming closer to reaching my goal. Here it comes. The moment that I've been waiting for. Golden Circle, your new ruler will engrave a new history for the organization,' I curled up my lips in ecstasy.
It would be a better idea to merge the two powerful families into one. If someone dared to stop it, I would coercively make them submit to my power.
No one could stop me. Everyone should know their place in this world.
No one was above me, even the God of Creation.
Humanity should rule this world whether you were in the light or in the shadow realm.
"Please be advised that you should keep your things in your hands. Because... we won't be liable once it disappeared out of your possessions," reminded Ext as fixed his collar. "We will. Don't worry about it," I responded, smiling.
'Too bad. I don't need it. Because my weapon is not what you can take away from me,' I giggled.
After the door of the elevator opened, we followed our guide to the room where the party was located.
The tall twin door opened wide for us. There was a mark of a reversed skull with a purple gem engraved between in its eyes. The wooden carved tokens were symbolizing the insignia of the household of the Mingxi clan.
A bright light blurred my eyesight for a second. But after I rubbed my eyes to see it clearly, an extravagant banquet appeared in my sight.
A large mana-made chandelier full of diamond lights hung up on the ceiling. Twelve bouncers were stationed in every corner of the place.
Not only that, there was a big stage with a white mana-made cemented floor in the middle. It was at the bottom peak, ten meters below our position.
'Is the family wanted a buddle or a duel? This is astonishing to witness,' I was in awe.
"Milord, here they come," my bodyguard whispered in my ears. "Ah, yes. Thank you," I fixed my face and adjusted my smile to face the host of the event. It was none other than Mr. Zhang Mingxi, the clan master of the Mingxi clan and the Chairman or Headmaster of the Golden Circle.
It was a very confusing title, but we always preferred to call him by his regular first name.
"Good evening, Mr. Zhang," I clutched my arms together and extended them to greet him. "Good evening too, heir of the Cuizo clan," Mr. Zhang did the same thing to pay respect.
'Ooh. He is really an interesting man. To think he is calling me to my position, huh? I feel honored to be called like that,' I smiled.
"Thank you very much for inviting me. It's been a pleasure to meet in person the legendary Lightning Sword of the Golden Circle," I hung my head down in respect. "Raise your head. Don't mention the name of the organization. There are possible spies of the STF lurking within the circle of my friends. I don't want them to disturb the peace within this place," Mr. Zhang reminded in a low tone.
"Yes, sir. My apologies. I don't mean to cause trouble," I placed a hand in apology. "You don't have to. You're reminding me of someone I know very well from the past," Mr. Zhang stated with smiling teeth.
'I know. Because you are seeing your younger self to me, right? Right? Ooh, yes. You're really sharp, Headmaster!' I made guts pose.
"Oooh, looking at you, you're pretty strong. Your physique and ki-power is lurking around in your internal nervous system," Mr. Zhang complimented as he rubbed a hand on his chin. "It's an honor to receive such priceless praise from the headmaster. Coming from your mouth is giving this youngster a boost of his confidence," I stated politely.
"May I ask you a question, Young Cuizo?" conversed Mr. Zhang as he signaled us to follow him. I quickly walked behind him to reply. "Yes? I'm listening, sir," I responded politely.
He raised his left eyebrow as he prepared his words to speak with me.
"What is the most important thing for a leader?" asked Mr. Zhang, shifting his gaze to the guests of the party. "One of the most important things for any leader is to never let anyone else define who you are," I responded promptly.
'What a simple question,' I laughed it off.
"Very good. Then, explain," Mr. Zhang halted and shifted his face at my position. His eyes were testing me to see who am I. "A leader is an Alpha who is always ahead of his peers. Making his enemies and subordinates on their knees. Never miss a single opportunity. To increase his prestige and learn how to become a legend for eternity," I asserted, smiling.
"Hmm, how can you do that then?" Mr. Zhang enunciated. "That's a very wonderful question, milord. I will summarize it shortly. To be frank, I have the money, influence, and looks. It is not a fluke. I'm already stronger than my peers at the same age, and every opponent who challenge me lost when we engaged," I proclaimed proudly.

"So... basically, you're aiming to rule them through force?" Mr. Zhang was impressed. "Not exactly like that, sir. But that's a good option. I don't mind using it, of course. Well, it depends on the situation. Let me make it short, if they follow me, I will take care of them as my subordinate, my comrade-in-arms, or my manpower. If they choose violence, oh-ho, I love it. I will make them submit and surrender to my power. Demand a score from them or pillage their place through my hand," I closed my fist and raised it up to show my resolve.
"Humans are rational beings. But easy to please, you know what it means. They have free will, but you can play them on your hands in a rolling wheel," Mr. Zhang pointed out. "Ho-ho, I love it. I want it. Toying them on my palm. I am sure they won't be able to escape my concentration camp," I responded politely.
"Concentration camp? Oh, dear, your words of choice are too old. But I love your optimism. You're too bold. Keep that mannerism," Mr. Zhang offered a sit on the table. I accepted and waited for the attendant to push it on me. Then, I sat down. "Thank you very much, sir," I hung my head down again.
The headmaster sat down in the opposite position. We're now facing each other at one table. My bodyguards stepped aside behind me, two meters away. Giving us some space to have a moment of privacy.
He clutched together his hands on the table, looking into my eyes with fierce looks.
"Since you're here, are you perhaps hungry? If you're thirsty, I have a wine made in Hungary," Mr. Zhang picked up a bottle of white wine and poured my glass. I accepted it and took a sip. "The taste is purely made of fresh fruit of the west. It's undeniably delicious. Nutritious. I'm very impressed," I stated with my honest thoughts.
"I'm glad you like it. Salmon?" offered Mr. Zhang the plate of fish next to me. "Thank you for your offer. But I'm full," I abstained.
"You're full, huh? Perhaps, only the glass of wine is enough," Mr. Zhang poured again my glass, but this time I didn't drink it. "I appreciate your humble offer, but I'm not thirsty too," I smiled.
His eye didn't flinch.
'He's already anticipated it,' I commented inside my head.
"By the way, what brings you here?" Mr. Zhang glared at me, lips pursed. "I'm here to challenge you to a duel," I declared, smiling.
The headmaster giggled and gulped the glass of wine until it was empty. He slammed it down on the table and shifted his attention directly to me.
"Do you think you can beat me?" asked Mr. Zhang with smiling teeth. "Yes, I can beat the shit out of you," I stood up on my chair and folded my arms across my chest.
The headmaster smirked upon seeing me full of confidence.
"Old trees paramount, whilst the young trees need to dig in the ground. You're brave, but you have to prepare your grave," warned Mr. Zhang as he remained in his chair with an assertive look. "But this young tree has already dug its root deeper than you can imagine. It is time for you to step down and let me handle things in the end," I provoked as I pointed a finger at the stage.
"I understand, you're a true man. I love your confidence. But you're too dense. Let me be honest with you. The number of your life force will decrease for an amount of one or two. You're still too early to face me in combat. You will gonna die with a single swish of my favorite bat," Mr. Zhang gurgled into laughter. "We're not sure yet. I won't stand back because of your threat. I know you're stronger. But don't underestimate the power of the next heir of the Cuizo clan, headmaster," I avowed.
"I believe you misunderstand what I said before. To me, your power is stronger than a wild boar. Just like your late father. This is why I'm just giving you a chance to enjoy your youth for a little longer," explained Mr. Zhang as he shifted his gaze in the direction of the stage. "I don't need your sympathy. Engrave this into your head. I, Yang Cuizo, will win swiftly. And tonight, a new name will widely spread," I announced as I showed my aura across my body.
"Good lord, you're one of my fans, aren't you?" asked Mr. Zhang with smiling teeth. "Yes, and I want to show what I can capable of, headmaster," I stated as I looked down at him.
"Then... prove it," a feminine voice pointed a staff at my face. I shifted my gaze to the owner of the voice. Then, I whistled in awe. "My goodness, what a beautiful angel," I mumbled.
'We're too focused in our conversation. I didn't sense her aura behind me,' I was stunned by her outstanding beauty.
All of the guests also reacted upon seeing her. Her icy stare was giving us a chill, but an angelic aura was captivating our hearts because of her beautiful and expensive platinum gown.
She's really meant for me. Lixue, my future spouse.
I tasted my lips with my tongue as I looked at her from her toe to head.
'Perfect body. I love that S-shaped body. Good for breeding,' I mentioned inside my head.
"Oh, Lixue, you look too stunning, my dear!" Mr. Zhang cried in joy. "Thank you, father," Ms. Lixue hung her head once, but she remained glaring at me with a death stare.
"Milord, I changed my mind. If you don't mind, I want to challenge Ms. Lixue to a duel," I pulled out gloves from my pocket. Then, I tossed it in her position. "Challenge accepted," Ms. Lixue captured it with an unfazed look.
"I, Yang Cuizo, promised to give you a fair fight, milady. No, I mean my wife," I summoned my spear in my right hand. Then, I stomped it on the ground lightly. "Don't you dare call me your wife? I haven't been defeated yet. I, Lixue Mingxi, will give you a heavy beating, you pervert," Ms. Lixue released an aura around her body. Heavy silence permeated the surface.
I read a lot of manhuas in wuxia novels. This event resembled the same thing. I fuckin' loved its content.
'Good... Good... This is exactly what I imagined. I'm the main character of this story. And you, you're my first heroine in my own series, princess,' I licked my lips as I stared at her big chest.
