This Cuizo kid declared my beloved daughter his wife? How dare he!
If I wasn't the headmaster or the host of this event, I won't hesitate to jump over the table and took his life. But as an elder, I remained calm and let him be.
He reminded me of my past. And I was very sure his arrogance won't last.
I was just planning to intimidate him, scare him off a little. However, my words sounded fragile and brittle. He was very determined.
He was confident that he could beat me and took my position from my hand. Little did he know, he was lacking the requirements to take the throne. If he loses a fight, he won't be able to move on, and he's prone to failure and easy to fall into darkness in the end.
His power was volatile, and undeniably he was talented. I loved his style, but he wasn't the successor that I wanted.
True leaders should lead with a good heart, and listen to the voice of their people who believed in them. But a mind of a snake poisoned his enemies with art, and those who didn't believe, they'll be condemned.
He should be responsible, reliable, and prepared to take countermeasures against his enemies. Make his name universally known throughout the world.
'Yang is too young. He is naive, but not an idiot. He has a lot of room to grow,' I commented inside my head.
"Milady, are you perhaps going to fight me in that dress? I don't want to ruin, you see," asked Yang as he pointed a finger at her outfit. "Of course not, I will fight you in a comfortable suit," Lixue flicked a finger and her outfit changed into a combat suit.
"Oooh, you're prepared. As expected of my spouse, I like it. Keep it that way. I believe we're really synced in both body and mind," mentioned Yang in a lips-pursing tone. "You're speaking nonsense, pervert," Lixue responded with a cold look.
'This idiot. Is he not aware that I am here? Never mind, I did the same thing with her mother anyway,' I shrugged it off.
"Then, shall we move in? Ladies first," Yang gestured a hand to the stage. "Hmph," Lixue shifted her face and jumped down to the battleground.
She enchanted her body with a lot of defensive spells. I could sense a tremendous aura around her.
"Lixue is really an energetic girl, isn't she?" a familiar voice caught my attention. I shifted my gaze at her position. My eyes opened wide. "Good evening, my dear," greeted Xue, the president of the Lumini Silk Cloth Shopping Mart and my beloved wife.
'Xue, my love,' I simpered subconciously.
She's the dearest mother of our daughter.
I was stunned by her beauty. Her platinum short hair staggered me. She's like a snow white in a fantasy world.
She looked younger than her current age. A lot of hungry dogs would totally ask her out because of her body.
Lixue got her beautiful hair color from her mother, whilst she received from my gene her lime green pupils. But totally, our daughter resembled her appearance during her younger years.
She looked honest and cute outside, but deep inside, she was a sinister murderer. That was why I stayed devoted to her.
In contrast to my predecessor, all of their concubines lived happily together with them. What about me? I became totally isolated for a long time with her.
During our first year of marriage, I was naive to believe she would accept the women who fell in love with me. It was a disaster that I regretted the most. She plotted a scheme to kill her rivals behind the scene.
It was already too late for me to stop her. Therefore, I decided to stop forming a harem.
I was supposed to get angry about it, but for some reason, I couldn't. Instead, I even supported her without questions asked.
'I feel like I drink a love potion to manipulate my mind. But that is just fantasy. There's no way my wife will do that,' I feigned no mind.
My wife approached me and gave me a kiss on the lips. Both of us remained in the same position for a few seconds.
"Xue, what took you so long?" I asked, smiling. "My love, the traffic hit us hard, you know. And I have to change my outfit to this beautiful gown for the party," Xue covered a hand on her mouth and giggled.
"I'm sorry. But I'm glad to see you again, my love," I grabbed her hands, kissed them, and smiled. "Me too," Xue simpered.
"Good thing, I have good news for you. But have a sit, okay?" I gestured to the front sit that was already prepared for us. "Okay, and I have something to tell you also," Xue followed and buried her butt in the soft chair.
"How's your business going, my love?" I asked earnestly. "Just the usual. There is nothing good to show off. I know you will fall asleep afterward," Xue wrapped her arms across my elbow. Then, she rested her head on my shoulder.
I rubbed a hand on her head to pet her. She looked like a child whenever I did it.
"How old are you again? Forty-two or something?" I teased her. "Do you want to die? You know it is rude to ask women's age, my love," Xue hit my cheeks with a light slap. I reacted a bit, but it was toleratable. Then, she rested her head on my shoulder with a fuming look.
'Oops, my bad,' I scratched a hand on my right cheek.
"Sorry again. It is just been a week since we talk to each other, you know," I wrapped a hand around her shoulder. And kissed her on her forehead. "I know, but stop joking around. I hate it, you know," Xue pouted her cheeks as she observed our daughter on the stage. "You are really her mother. Both of you hate my joke," I heaved a tiring sigh.
"So, she is going to fight that kid, huh," Xue mentioned. "Yeah, and I cannot wait for her to beat him to death," I affirmed.

My wife was confused upon hearing it. She twirled the end of her hair as she watched our daughter stretch her muscles.
"Hmm, who is the kid? I think I saw him somewhere before," Xue mumbled. "He is Yang Cuizo. Hazuki's child with his first wife," I answered promptly.
"Ooh, the harem bastard's son," Xue giggled. "Hey, hey, stop saying that. Someone might hear you loud and clear," I whispered in her ears.
"Hmph, I don't mind. Say anything they wanted. I just loathe that crazy bastard," Xue stated as she gestured of pointing a gun at the opponent of our daughter. "My goodness, that was a long time ago. Move on, my love," I advised.
"Hmph, I hope my daughter beat him. Or it is much better that she accidentally castrate him," Xue covered a hand on her mouth and giggled.
She glared at the boy with a sinister gaze.
'Wow... Scary," I gulped my saliva.
"Ara~, what kind of duel are they going to do?" asked Xue out of curiosity. "Hmm, I wonder. Since she and this boy are in a different roles in the organization, I believe it will become a battle of wits," I declared.
She recognized an interesting item on the stage.
"I feel like I have seen that weapon before," Xue pointed a finger at the blue spear that Yang was holding at. "The Spear, my love?" I inquired. "Yeah. I truly believe I have seen it really," Xue claimed.
'Really?' I was amused.
"Are you sure? But all I can see is an ordinary weapon made in silver, though," I commented. "No, I don't think the material used to create it is simple. That silver aura within it is emitting a strong aura of anti-magic," Xue mumbled as she scanned it through her eyes.
"Anti-magic again? The new generation loved to use it nowadays. Pathetic... My generation didn't use it though. Can't they fight their enemy with dignity?" I gritted my teeth angrily. "Are you stupid? Of course, it is already being used in the past. It is just you're lucky that you won in a fair fight," Xue hit my cheeks with a light slap again.
'How many times do I have to get slapped, huh?' I rubbed the part where she hit me.
"Wake up to reality. This is the true power of the new generation. Fighting fair is no longer applicable in their rules," Xue enunciated as she looked at the weapon again. "What a shameless weapon. We'll see what he is capable of. But you know what, my love? Having a system to cultivate faster is worst than it is. Well, Yang is better than those introverted cults who let themselves be controlled by their systems," I gurgled into laughter.
"You realized the systems only worked for the people who have a pathetic background story, right? It is already being revealed in the public two decades ago when a man in the East Asia possessed a solo cultivating system, though," Xue commented. "But he died because he let it control himself. Thankfully, a man in Southeast Asia defeated him and the other possessed. Passive people don't need sympathy," I stated, smiling.
"Never mind, it is useless to talk about it with you. I'm worried about our daughter," Xue shifted her gaze at our child. "Yeah, there are a lot of supporters of that person. We don't want to get berated by them. Worry not. Our daughter is one of the strongest prodigies of this generation," I assured her.
"If she won this fight, I will give our child a new set of cute clothes made of my silkworms, hehe~" Xue rubbed her cheeks on my shoulder. "My love, you're no longer a child to do that. We should avoid doing this in the public area," I advised.
"Don't mind them. My work weight me down. I need to recharge. Honestly, I just missed you so much. Your smell and body heat is enough to remove my stress out of my body. Don't you know this. I need my husband's energy," Xue clutched a hand on my left arm together. "You're really cute whenever you say that," I smiled.
"By the way, I heard about the news of this terrorist attack. I know you're strong. But are you hurt somewhere?" Xue raised her head and looked at me. She scanned my face from left to right. "I'm okay. I don't receive any critical wounds," I released my face from her hands.
Her eyes turned darker than before.
"I promise. I will hunt his family. Pillage his territory. Scorch it into the fire. Make his people under their rule suffer. You don't have to worry, I will make it happen, my love," Xue promised. "Pardon?" I gasped upon hearing it. "Ara~ forget about it. It is just a joke. Oh my love, you know I love to joke around, right? Don't mind it," Xue waved a foxy hand.
'Honey, don't murder the innocent people. Please...,' I prayed.
"By the way, I heard from my spy that Lixue visited a place here. Did my little girl perhaps visit the bridge?" Xue tilted her head with hands clutched together. I was bewildered upon hearing this. "M-m-my love, yeah. Yeah, she visited it," I nodded.
"Ara~, I love it. History repeats itself. Do you know the name of her future husband?" Xue placed a hand on my palm. "N-n-no. She mentioned to me that he left the place before she could ask," I stated with a cold sweat.
'My wife, stop teasing me. I won't hand my daughter to a stranger!' I bit my lower lips.
"Hehehe~ Lixue, cast the romantic summoning spell that I taught you, okay?" Xue called. "Eeeh?" Lixue's face blushed upon hearing it.
All of the audience laughed in this segment.
"Don't 'eh' me. Do it!" Xue insisted. "But mom, that's only applicable if my opponent agreed," Lixue replied as she pointed it out.
"I don't mind. Do it," Yang permitted. "But... you have to summon a familiar or call for a partner too," Lixue explained briefly.
"Oh-ho, you are underestimating me. You're a mage, milady. You need support to act as your shield, though," Yang formed a stance, initiating to attack her. "Hold up, I believe I have to cast a spell first," Lixue withdrew, two steps away from her former position.
"As if I will let you summon it," Yang vanished from his position. Then, a powerful blast hit the barrier of my daughter. "Tsk, you're really persisting bastard," Lixue commented.
"Let's give our utmost support to our child. I hope this suitor died like the rest of my enemies," Xue declared with her eyes turned darker than before. "Y-y-yeah, we should be," I gulped my saliva upon seeing her back to her frightening look.
'Now Lixue, win this fight. Bring another glory for our family. Don't let yourself marry that scumbag!' I announced inside my head.
