War of the Ancients

Laurence is someone who was transmigrated twice before arriving to the modern earth. He was originally a cultivator from another world called 'Ever Elm' where elves lives.

In his past life, he was called Kieran. A warrior elf who has the knack of creating miracles with the use of medicinal herbs. Playing around with medicinal herbs was his hobby. It was not only medicine that he was able to create though, for he is also well versed in poisons. After all, in that world, medicines and poisons are two side of the same coin.

Ironically, he died because of a bet.

The next time he woke up, he was in a body of a young boy from another world. The world was called 'Twin Moon' Realm and the place he lived until his untimely death was called Boundless Sanctuary. Here, he was a nameless orphan who became a servant for an eccentric alchemy master. With his knowledge from his original world and his interest in both medicine and poison, he naturally was interested in alchemy. Unfortunately as a servant, he was only allowed to handle the medicinal grass on the field.

He didn't know if it was because his current body have eight spiritual roots, but the plants he took care of is always of the highest quality. He actually felt proud of it and even told other servant about his spiritual roots, only to be stared at as if he had gone crazy. It was only then that he found out that people with eight spiritual roots are a waste. Because of this incident though, the eccentric alchemy master found out about his 'talent'. Naturally, the alchemy master was interested with him and it was then that it was revealed that he have rainbow colored soul. Cultivator with this soul are the best in alchemy.

With this revelation, the master's attitude underwent a major change. The master took him as his disciple and began to teach him how to nurture both his spirit and soul. Even though he was considered a waste, the alchemy master was still willing to help him. Some people think that the resource were wasted on him, while he thought that his master was the kindest man despite his eccentrics. It wasn't until he saw his master's true face did he realized how wrong he was.

It was only unfortunate that he found out too late. No. He knew that even if he found out early, he would still unable to run away. After all, he was only an eight spiritual root waste. It would only be a matter of seconds before his master caught him again so in a way, his fate was sealed.

He thought that this time, he would truly be dead since his master was going to consume his soul. But for some unknown reason, he felt a strong pull before he fell unconscious. When he woke up, he saw that he had once again, been transmigrated or more correctly, reborn in another world.
