''Ho ho! Greetings friend I am Solaire of Astora, an adherent to the Lord of Sunlight. What brings you to these lands?"

Ethan, still without his Helmet gave a nod. ''Ethan of Earth, I come here to test my skill in battle, to see if my training was all worth it.''

''I see! I took you for another Knight of Astora, given your sword and armor." Solaire turned to look at him, despite not taking off his helmet, it was almost hard not to assume the man was smiling, even the tone of his voice made it easy to smile.

''The sword? No, I received this from a quick but lost friend. In return for promising him to ring the bells, and helping him pass onto the next life peacefully." Ethan shifted, drawing the sword from its scabbard only slightly to show the blade before returning it to its sheath.

''I see... I am sorry to hear of such a friend, but if you have made it this far from the Asylum, I see a fire burning within you! The sun's own radiance graces you as it does me! I wish you luck in your journey to ring the bells!''

''And you, Solaire of Astora. What brought you to Lordran?'' Ethan responded, relaxing his stance

''Myself? Now that I am Undead, I have come to this great land, the birthplace of Lord Gwyn, to seek my very own sun!'' Solaire once more turned towards the sun, energy radiating from the man that made it hard not to enjoy the sun's warmth.

''A noble goal indeed, I to wish you luck on your journey to find your own sun, may it bath you in it's rays, as the one within the sky does.''

"Ahaha! Of course Ethan of Earth, you know... The way I see it, our fates appear to be intertwined. In a land brimming with Hollows, you a good source of conversation in this land... Could that really be a mere chance? So, what do you say? Why not help one another on this lonely journey?"

Solaire said this while reaching into a bag to his side, pulling a white soap stone from his pouch. ''With this, even if for a fleting moment, we can summon each others spirits across this strange time, and with it we can help each other fight!''

''I see no reason to refuse help, thank you.'' Ethan took the white stone, the moment he did he felt Ordis buzz in his ear, it seemed he had something to say but waited until he was done conversing.

''Oh, and you seem of good faith! Have you learned any miracles to help you in your journey? I know only a few myself, here!''

He once more reached into his pouch, pulling out a large tomb and handing it to him. ''I have read this book, front to back but I have only been able to master two of its many miracles, I am sure you would find a better use for it."

''Thank you again Solaire, I shall study these as soon as possible, as I feel I will need options in the future.''

''Haha! Of course my friend, well I shall remain here a bit longer, to soak the rays of the sun a bit more before I continue on my journey!" Solaire then turned, gazing back up to the sun once more.

Ethan nodded before he left the man to his own, once he was walking away Ordis finally spoke up.

[Operator! The stone he gave you is rich with the energy of time this place seems to hold, much like he said it seems, even if for a brief moment. You can be summoned to another timeline, to another world, and help other 'Hollows'!]

'Yeah, this was one of the multiplayer items in the game, if you use it you're can be summoned by another person to help them fight through an area, then it would be considered finish when you beat the boss.'

Standing before the bridge, he suddenly kicked off the ground, despite the armor his movements were still quick, and the loud roar of a dragon descending towards him was clear. Just as he broke right and went down the stairs and all the way until he jumped down towards the bonfire did a jet of flames suddenly consumed the room above, some flames getting far enough to heat the room he was in.

[That was a dragon Operator! Its flames are impressive.]

''Yeah, I wonder how cutting off its tail would work now?''

[Cutting its tail off?]

''In the game, you could cut off its tail to get a good sword, I'm just wondering if that is still possible.''

Ethan sat down at the bonfire, the energy embracing him as it created a save haven for him to rest. Relaxing back against a crate he began to examine the book.

[Faith Energy identified.]

There was a shift in Ethan's mind as if something was speaking to him, like an instinctive feeling. Reaching out his hands he began to focus before lightning began to crackle between his fingers before he closed his fist, and like the God of the skies did a bolt of lightning appeared in his hand like a spear.

He held it for a few moments before it slowly dissipated as he released his fingers and relaxed.

[That was... Interesting Operator, it seems your ability to mesh with all energies also makes it easier to channel them.]

''I'll say, usually you need a talisman to cast miracles, just as you would need a catalyst to cast sorceries... I might keep some magic with me while traveling, it's just fun.''
