The days following the underpass 'fight' was peaceful for Samuel. He had no idea whether or not Jack Kang would take his words seriously but at the very least, he planted a seed of doubt in his heart regarding Philip Kim.
'Come to think of it, the fact that Philip was able to make it this far is quite interesting.'
Philip Kim wasn't someone of great academic intelligence but he was strategic in the sense he knew how to influence the people around him to do his bidding. Whether it was through using his money or connections, Philip was able to instigate several incidents in the main plot of Weak Hero.
But, at the end of the day, once one took away the money and his true weak self was brought to light, Philip would lose his reputation and become a laughingstock.
To Samuel, Philip Kim was equivalent to that annoying mosquito in the dark that you could hear constantly but can't kill.
However, once you turned on the light, catching it would be a lot easier.
"As of now, I don't think Philip Kim possesses any animosity towards me. I highly doubt Jimmy Bae or Jack Kang would rat out to him that I was the one who told them about his 'plan' since they don't seem the type to do that."
Sitting at the back of the school leaning against a tree, Samuel was eating his homemade lunch consisting of a soggy tuna sandwich and a carton of milk.
Not the best food combo but at least it tasted good.
Samuel took a bite of his sandwich and began to think.
'That fight yesterday is definitely going to reach Jimmy Bae's ears which ultimately means it won't be long until I get on the Union's watchlist. Even if Jimmy Bae doesn't say anything, that bastard Helmet will.'
Samuel Han was facing a dilemma.
As he had said when he first arrived in this world, he just wanted to live peacefully and graduate high school before going to college. A goal that he had almost completed before getting killed and winding up here.
'I've already shown my strength three times now. Two if I don't count the time with the random thugs I met. Either way, people will be paying more attention to me now.'
Samuel Han knew that whether he liked it or not, there was a ninety percent chance that he would sooner or later encounter others from the Union. These encounters would be far from friendly and eventually, he would end up as part of the plot.
'I've read fanfictions before so I know how this usually goes. As much as I want to say that I'll just live a peaceful life and stop getting involved, I know that won't happen.'
Because it never happens when protagonists say that.
Samuel lifted the milk carton and positioned the straw between his lips before taking a sip. He closed his eyes and thought;
'I think, for now, it's best to see how things play out. My actions will most definitely change the course of things but however big the change…I do not know.'

As Samuel predicted, his words about Philip Kim reached Jimmy Bae's ears as did his actions at the underpass.
Jack Kang stood in front of his leader with a downcast expression. His hands were tucked behind his back as he waited for Jimmy Bae to talk. To no surprise, Jimmy Bae was furious.
"Philip Kim that fucker!" He gnashed his teeth. "How dare he play me like this?! Does he think I'm his bitch?!"
"But…that Samuel guy could be lying…" one of Jimmy Bae's followers said hesitantly.
Jack Kang shook his head, "I thought so too but then realized that he might be telling the truth. We all know that Philip Kim talks bullshit most of the time. And I don't see a reason why that Samuel Han would tell a lie. Philip's already been kicked out of the Union because he couldn't take over Eunjang."
Jimmy Bae clicked his tongue, "I wanted to fight that fucker Ben Park again but not acting like Philip Kim's personal bitch."
"I also took the time to look into Philip Kim's records at Imdo Middle School," Jack Kang said. Frowning, he continued, "I realized after asking around that something was weird."
"Hmm?"
Jack nodded, "Philip Kim, from what I gather, hardly ever fights. And if he does fight, he seems to only pick the losers at the bottom of the school. The extremely weak ones. I don't think anyone's seen him fight a person remotely strong."
"Huh?" Jimmy Bae's face contorted. "You mean he picked easy targets."
"Yes. The stronger ones followed him after he basically bribed them," Jack Kang finished.
'So he's just a fucking faker,' thought Jimmy Bae. 'Well, I figured as much. Though, I'm sure Donald Na already knows that.'

He was right.
Donald Na was someone who knew nearly everything. He's also the type to do extensive research on those that join the Union. No doubt, Philip Kim's past was also brought to his knowledge.
The reason he didn't say anything about it is that Philip Kim was a source of information. That was the true quality that allowed him to join the Union in the first place. His fighting abilities were not needed so long as he had money and information. Donald Na knew this very well.
"Well, either way, we've already attacked," Jimmy Bae said. "Ben Park is gonna get his ass handed to him one way or another."
Meaning, that he was going to move forward with taking over Eunjang even though it wasn't what Donald Na ordered.
"As for you, lard-ass," Jimmy Bae glared at a cowering Harper Ha, "You got your hand stabbed and head hit by a bastard that was as skinny as a twig?! You dumb fucking shit!"
'Fuck…' Helmet thought.
"I should have you kicked out by now for being so damn pathetic," Jimmy spat. Leaning forward on his chair, he said, "If you wanna stay, I'll give you one more chance. Find that twig and teach him a lesson."
Helmet's eyes widened, "What?"
"Ha? You heard me! Unless you want me to beat your ass here!"
'Fucking Jimmy Bae…' Helmet thought with a clenched jaw. 'I swear one day I'll kill you!'
"Yes…sir," he pathetically mumbled.
"Now get lost," Jimmy Bae muttered.
"Yes…"
After the meeting, everyone left until there was only Jack Kang and Jimmy Bae. The latter rocked on his chair and drummed his fingers on the arm closing his eyes.
"Tell me, is it true what those three dumbasses said about this Samuel Han? Did he actually pick up Helmet and throw him with ease?"
Jimmy Bae's question was to be expected. After all, such a feat is close to impossible unless you have superhuman strength.
"It's true. I witnessed it with my own eyes," Jack Kang muttered clenching his fists. "To be honest, he didn't break a single sweat while doing that. He didn't even seem pressured over carrying such a heavy weight with one hand. It looked so…natural to him."
Jimmy Bae frowned and rubbed his hands together before bringing his knee up and leaning back.
"What do you think would happen if I fought him?"
Jack Kang paused at the unexpected question. Usually, when asked something similar, his answer would always be the same. Jimmy Bae would win. Unless it was against Donald Na.
But now, even Jack wasn't so sure.
With much hesitancy, he finally said, "I've only seen that guy's strength. I don't know what his fighting skills are like. Your fighting skills are the best I've seen…"
"In other words, you don't know," Jimmy Bae got the gist of it.
'While strength isn't everything, it certainly plays a big role when fighting. Somehow, when I think of taking on this mysterious bastard, a bad feeling sprouts in my gut.'

Somewhere at a chicken restaurant.
Samuel Han let out a sneeze.
