Alpha, Beta and Omega.

These terms are used to divide a person’s sex according to hereditary traits. However, the majority of the population are commonly Betas with no distinguishing characteristics like the other two sexes. They can get by with their day to day life without troubles, and there’s nothing special that distinguishes them. Alphas are considered the superior sex. They are the dominating class that always comes out on top in everything they do. They have strong personalities and pheromones that command attention. Omegas are special because they are extremely rare. They are all attractive in scent and looks. They experience a regular heat that emits alluring pheromones to attract Alphas.

Alphas could be found all over society. Most people would know their names because each one of them were of high rank, talented, intelligent, and good looking. The president, world-class athletes, and conglomerates are all Alphas. They naturally monopolized the ruling class because of their genetic superiority. 

There was even a saying that the world rolled off Alpha’s heads and on Beta’s hands and feet.

Omegas are the opposite of Alphas and are difficult to come across in real life. It wasn’t just that, but Omegas are difficult to tell apart from Betas. They can blend in with the crowd and get along with others like everyone else. The one thing that sets them apart is a special pheromone.

“Omegas are extremely rare, but it can happen if you were born as a Beta and developed late. It’s almost like an infrequent reported case. Seyeon had trouble catching on to what he was saying and couldn’t understand half of what came out of his mouth. Furthermore, she was unsure of it because she had spent her entire life living as a Beta with no connections to Alphas or Omegas.

“Miss Im Seyeon.”

The doctor tapped his index finger on the desk to see if she would divert her attention to him after drifting off in her thoughts. Even though it wasn’t even that loud, Seyeon quickly came to her senses and looked at the doctor.

Seyeon mumbled as she seemed to be surprised about the word. The doctor calmly scanned over her medical record and questionnaires while spreading out two fingers over the information. Seyeon was bewildered by his long index finger and middle finger.

“An Omega’s pheromone is a substance that attracts Alphas. The amount of pheromones produced during estrus is hundreds of times higher than normal. Not only do the pheromones excite Alphas, but they will also make you feel a strong sexual desire that you can’t control. It can only be resolved through copulation. You only have two days remaining until that time comes for you.”
