Chapter 11: Chapter 10- Get used to me!

Currently through the dark corridors of Xyler academy walked two figures while leaning against each other.

Since it would have been problematic for Ethan to go through the main route back to his dorm, Gisele took the backside path which despite being a little longer would save them from unnecessary attention.

Ethan's condition was not very good or to say, he looked pitiful with those many broken bones and blood seeping out from varying places but Gisele despite being a healer couldn't do anything about it.

Ethan has asked her not to.

The only thing she can do was to at least transport the broken man back to his room which she was currently in the process of doing.

"Why did you let her beat you so much despite having the strength to stop Catherine from the start? Don't tell, you have a masochistic tendency."

Ethan chuckled slightly upon being doubted for something which the speaker herself was. But he doesn't want another round of beating from her wife for harassing her.

While trying to put as little weight as he can over her, Ethan spoke in a slightly ragged tone.

"I… I deserved it… And I wouldn't have stopped her if not w-what she said… "

"Are you really the Ethan we are seeing in our dreams? And also, how we didn't reborn but you did?"

It was almost impossible to believe something like rebirth despite having some folklore signifying it's a possibility. Those tales are like just child's prayers. Total baseless.

And here a man, Gisele has got recently invested in, abruptly walks in and says he is an example of something which is practically unattainable?

Ethan was aware of her thoughts and how many things she had rummaged through in so little time. Many people find such overthinkers bothersome but for Ethan, it's that trait of hers that has saved his life various times.

He respects her wisdom.

"The thing from which I *hah* died…triggered my rebi-..rth… And you three having those flashes are t-the result of the soul bond we share…"

Ethan still couldn't understand how his wives' memories were altered to make it seem like he enjoyed their death. But it didn't mean he would let them misunderstand.

On the other hand, Gisele was about to ask about his death but she stopped herself.

Her stupid heart was beating so fast that she felt like collapsing if she hears how he ceased from existence despite being so strong.

"You should give up pursuing us tho… I am telling this for your own good. Taking aside me and Catherine, Sasha hates you down the core. I barely have seen her display so many emotions for someone. So if you don't want to-"

"No, I won't."

Gisele was surprised by such a fluent answer which came more vigorously if compared to his previous tone. She was flabbergasted to see determination in his eyes despite being broken to the bone.

"There was a time when you three showed me the emotion of love and made me realize that life is not all about ambition and chaos. Now this time I want to shower you all with the love you guys deserve. Even if I get beaten to a pulp, again and again, that won't break my resolve. I love you, Catherine and Sasha regardless of how you three feel about me. "

Gisele leaned her face slightly down to let her hair cover her face as she knew the disobedient cheeks of hers would show the redness she hates to display.

Her movement fastened subconsciously in fluster as they reached Ethan's room not so long after.

Fortunately, no one saw them as Gisele halted in front of his gate and helped him lean on the door.

"It's inappropriate for me to enter a boy's room, so I will be going now."

Gisele bowed slightly and was about to dash away when unexpectedly she felt her hand limply held by Ethan just like the time in the library.

This time she didn't have the courage to brush his hands off as she heard his weak tone which had slight seduction blended.

"I know you asked me to never show my face, but Gisele, it's the face you have to see while living the rest of your life. So it's better if you get used to it."

Now Gisele regrets why she ever waited to hear this shameless man's words at all!

Snatching her hand away she stomped her feet with a 'Hmph! ' before walking away with big strides.

But the small smile which Ethan didn't see in the library was now evidently spread on her lips which failed her angered facade.

Smiling while staring at her distancing back, Ethan sighed as he spoke under his breath.

"I have a lot of work to do…"

A/N: -Massive events would start once I somehow stable their bond and give enough world detail.

There would be drama and action along with fluff so let's see where this goes.
