Chapter 9: Chapter 8- Another chance~2!?

The expression on each three of them oozed with utter shock upon witnessing the sudden appearance of Ethan. The guy who has made them the most troubled in so little time without even physically getting in contact.

The person who they have been plotting against and talked so viciously about, suddenly appearing out of nowhere would give a fright to anyone.

With his eyes slightly downcast, Ethan walked in before he stood in front of the three.

In the morning, when he has the conversation with Gisele, Ethan comes to realize that he not only has returned to the past but some essence of his wives memories too.

And hearing it himself when he investigated, Ethan concluded that the soul contract between them must have worked as a channel to transport those future occurrences through their dreams.

Well, he was never going to conceal it in the first place.

Ethan has decided to tell all three of them the whole truth, but it was kind of abrupt how things have been developing just after his rebirth.

'Not that… I should run away from this….'

Ethan had ways of making his wives forget about these flashing memories and make them fall for him again. But that would be unfair to their feelings.

This time he wouldn't make the same mistakes again. This time he would take things thoroughly and allow them what they deserve.

"I indeed am or was your husband, and the dreams you guys have been seeing are all true. In that life, I left school to accomplish my ambition, and you three came following me because of your fondness toward me. We have indeed spent the time you guys have been seeing as husband and wife."

The heart of the three maidens felt numbing with each of his words. Even Gisele, who was trying to protest, has now fallen completely quiet since the man was affirming her fear by himself.

With their varying gaze fixated on Ethan, they didn't speak anything and let the man continue.

"It must be our soul contract that has led to this situation. But there's a difference between you three and me."

Curiosity started arising in their mind as they waited patiently for his following words. Even though none of the three say it, each one of them wants that the memories which have made them hate Ethan get to be proven wrong.

Even they would never accept it if spoken aloud, but Catherin, Gisele, and even Sasha don't want to hate Ethan.

However, nothing goes as one wishes them to…

"Unlike you guys, I didn't receive memories of that possible future; rather, I have seen everything with these two eyes. Even though my appearance looks younger, I still have lived more than a hundred years. You guys saw it through flashes, but I…. I have seen you three die in front of my eyes. Used you to get what I wanted and in the end I even lost myself. "

Tears were swelling in their eyes as they heard the confession they never wanted to hear. There was no denying anymore. It was proven that those flashes were actual, and Ethan had killed them.

It was all a cruel reality.

"Bastard!!"

Catherine flared up as she darted from her seat and appeared in front of Ethan within an instance. With ferocity covering her tearing eyes, she held her punch rigidly before throwing it at Ethan's stomach.

Ethan didn't try to dodge, nor did he use his mana to shield himself and let the blow land on him naturally. With the churning pain, he was thrown to the wall by the entrance.

The wall broke as a small crater formed after Ethan felt the impact. With a groan, he fell to the ground; before he felt Catherine advancing again toward him.

Giselle covered her eyes as she wept uncontrollably. All the things happening since morning have made a mess out of her mind but what was spoken right now, was the most painful discovery. She just couldn't accept this reality. It's unfair! It's unfair!

Sasha had her eyes parted, and unwavering as small droplets also slid down her face while she registered what she expected, yet it was extremely hard to swallow.

She… she felt lost.

Catherine didn't stop there as she picked him by his collar and punched his face hard enough to leave a dark bruise on his left eye as his head clashed with the wall.

He, indeed, was physically relatively weak to not even handle some blows, huh…

Kneeling, Catherine positioned herself on either side of his pelvis before her fist landed on his face ruthlessly with her fiery eyes continued to shed.

"You asshole! Killed me! Killed us! How you fucking dare to even call us your wives!! "

Each of her strikes was worth breaking an average person's skull as she hit him without restraint while cursing her inner emotions out.

"We trusted you! Yet you betrayed! You don't deserve to live!!"

Ethan accepted the anger he deserved and received everything without complaint. He didn't mind the creaking sound of facial bones and continued to stare at his beautiful wife through his partial vision.

Even Catherine's knuckles started bleeding even though she was a high-tier superhuman, but she cared about none. She just wanted this feeling inside her sick heart to subside!

"How can I marry such a bastard! You not only let us get eaten away but also enjoyed the show?! How inhuman you ca-"

Suddenly to Catherine as well as Sasha's astonishment, one of the punches didn't land on its destination as an unmoving shackle held it in mid-air.

Looking through her moistened vision, Catherine got stunned to see that Ethan was holding her hand with anger radiating evidently through his aura.

"Say… that…again…
